[CHAMPION CONCEPT] Grix, the Shadow of the Jungle

BACKGROUND Grix is an extremely large chameleon-like creature that lived in the Plague Jungles. A master at the art of stealth and assassination, Grix puts fear into the hearts of his enemies through mind play and clever use of his tongue (and don't think of that in the wrong way). A strong Middle Lane Assassin or Jungle Assassin, Grix can pull in his prey for a swift death.

LORE The Plague Jungles are an unforgiving landscape of death and disease, hence the name. All who enter put their life at risk of being hunted down by creatures, killers, and the jungle itself. Many explorers who have entered the jungle, however, know of no threat to their lives more than Grix. A large reptilian creature that hunts all who enter the jungle and has no mercy for those he captures, Grix is known for his efficiency in disposal. Grix may not have been the king of the jungle, but he was the one who decided who could be the mightiest for he could slay them without even blinking or breaking a sweat. However, in recent years, Bandle City has began to set up research stations for the jungle despite the warnings of the scouts who have ever entered the jungle. Deforestation began and Grix defended his territory. He quickly disposed of the research station scientists, forcing the yordles to abandon their stations and return to Bandle City. One mind stayed though. The inventor Heimerdinger traveled to the abandoned research sites and was able to revive one back to life, this time having a surprise for the reptilian creature. As Grix approached, a sudden boom of energy was released from the station causing Grix to become paralyzed and fall into a deep sleep. Many yordle brains traveled to the research center to see the beast, but perhaps one too many. When Grix awoke, he quickly escaped due to curious researchers and was forced to abandon the Plague Jungles in fear of being hunted down and captured again. He traveled the continent of Valoran for years until he found his way to the Summoner's Rift. He quickly took root in the jungle there and made it his new kingdom to rule. However, a deep magic soon soaked into him, causing him to slowly become more intelligent and even more deadly. The magic of a giant beast soon found it's way into the blood of Grix and he couldn't have been happier. The power he could feel in his bones was overwhelming. He could feel himself become stronger. As armies have begun to close in on all sides, Grix has become forced to defend his new home from these invaders, no matter the cost.

That sounds... way too Overpowered. Just added the ratios up, and it comes out to 560% bonus AD.

That can be true also. However, Kha'Zix also has no utility. Grix pretty much has a mix between a Blitz and a Thresh hook, that also has insane scaling. His passive also seems very powerful. 25% damage reduction seems like too much. Between the utility and passive he wont need an escape, cause he can just run and not get killed on the way. Also, the heal on his ult should be reduced by at least 50%, because an attack that will hit for ~1.5k damage late game would be way too much healing IMO.

Urgot's passive reduces enemy damage output by 15% for 2.5 seconds on-hit, and also works on champions.

Considering Grix is a melee champion and his passive doesn't work on champions, I think the numbers are alright. Not sure if it should work on turrets, though. It doesn't seem overly useful since, if you're diving someone, you're not going to waste time hitting the turret. You want to kill your target.

Oh, i didn't read the passive correctly, i thought it applied to champs too. My bad.

Ive seen a couple of Chameleon Champs, and this one is pretty good compared to the rest. But the plague that has hit every single chameleon champion concept, is that 2 or 3 of the abilities are always chameleon related, thats good, but the bad part is that the other 1 or 2 sometimes have nothing to do with chameleons. Im not hating or bashing on your champ, what i want to do is help, and I will try to do that. I actually really like his Passive Q and W they are OK. But, did you kno that champions are on the slo side, actually not that much faster than sloths really, even when they change color, videos have to be sped up to notice the difference. Pretty much the only time chameleons move fast is when they fall of a branch. Now I know this makes it seem like i hate Grix's E and Ult, but i dont, you could easily rationalize them by saying hes a mutated chameleon. This is just something i noticed, but its ok. I would suggest taking a look at other traits that the chameleon possesses, to help you brainstorm new ideas that connect to him as a chameleon, these are all just suugestions. Chameleons, have eyes that can see in different directions at once, and thier sight is further than normal. They are also sure shots, they hardly ever miss bugs when they shoot their tongue. Their feet are pretty sticky (not on the level of a gecko's though) allowing them to stick to branches. They also have some pretty tough scales. Their tails are prehensile acting as an extra hand or limb. These are all just little bits of info, that you will never need to use, but what eves. Still a great champ
