Backstory: "Destiny? That's for those who can't see the horizon" Back Story: Wake is a Happy Energetic Hunter of the Sea who relies only on his Net and Trident and the Way of Retiarius, feeling the flow of the battle and when to strike and just how hard he need to. With Net and Trident in Hand, Wake made a name for himself on the docks of Bilgewater and Neighboring Islands, As he Supplies Many Markets with the finest Quality Found in the Sea. a Sailor born and raised in safety by his grandparents Members of the belief of Nagakabouros. Though Wake did not indulge himself in Nagakabouros as much as they, Wake saw the benefits of the flowing world around him, and felt sick when he saw what Bilgewater had become from recent events. With Gangplank in charge, Wake didn't like it but he found it better to sell good to Gangplank To establish a stronger connection between them, one needs to fix the system from within. Gangplank Found Wake's Bounty and good will without apparent threat to be refreshing and honest. As long as the Boy kept dealing well, Gangplank would insist their relationship would only see profit. When Miss Fortune crashed down on Gangplanks empire, Wake found the Ports the very worst of places; the garbage Gangplank had kept in check were all loose on the streets, getting too aggressive for him to make port, never mind trying to sell fish without being attacked for his cargo. Wake understood Miss Fortune's actions, just hated how she went about them. Now more than ever the good citizens that are in Bilgewater suffer. Wake was upset, he had to fix Bilgewater before it completely collapses. Wake Drifted along, down a stream he had ventured for fish many times and found the best bounties, noticing the vacancy of fish below his ship he was surprised, he had hoped to take his mind off the events with a good haul, but now, his mind swirled on the subject, then. Wake felt his anger turn into a feint rhythm , stirring within himself. soon, it became real, With a heavy, Deep Voice that echoed along the River. and to his disbelief, a creature manifested from the water before him. A massive mouth grinned as the water rocked Wake's boat back and fourth.
Tahm Kench: "Why, Hello there young man. I could not help but notice the powerful desires that flood your mind, body, soul. and i came with Joyful News to Sate your Hunger." Wake: "Who...uhm...What are you?" Wake asked the fish, slowly reaching for his Net laid out behind him. Tahm Kench: "Why, I am an Entrepreneur of desires and wishes with a positive result for each soul looking for Bliss. Greetings, Many call me Tahm Kench." The large fish swam up to the ship, rocking it back and forth once again. Wake: "What do you mean?" Tahm Kench: "I can see the desire afflicting you my boy, the desire to see Bilgewater as the town you perceive it should be!" Wake: "How..." Tahm Kench: "I am unique, and i believe you were destined to travel down my river son...I can help you reach your goals" Wake: "Ha! destined...that's something new. I'm afraid the folks at Bilgewater wont budge much besides for dinner from a fish like yourself" Tahm Kench: "Indeed that may be the case, but i have something in my possession that may aid you in your endeavors beyond your imagination." Wake: "Get out of here before i choose to serve you to get good terms at the port" Tahm Kench: "It seems like your Grandparents may be suffering the most of all" Wake looked at the fish, astonished, he hadn't brought them up, he had no way to have known their situation.
Wake: "You can read my mind?" Wake slowly reached for his Net. Tahm Kench: "I can do that and more my boy, i can offer solutions." Wake: "Solutions...like?" Tahm Kench: "First, i need something from you" Wake: "What do you need?" Wake gripped his net, unsure of how he wanted to continue. Tahm Kench: "A simple trinket in 10 years, i cannot get it alone though i love to collect them. You see and they are valuable, and i can only find these trinkets by helping you through this agreement" Wake: "Trinkets? you want to help me for junk i may find 10 years from now?" Tahm Kench: "Indeed that is the offer i am laying out before you" Wake thought to himself, he couldn't even make port to see if his grandparents were safe...he was getting impatient from the conversation Wake: "Fine, How can you help me" And like that, Wake found himself clasped in the mouth of the beast, before he could reach he was devoured, though he hadn't felt hurt, he couldn't see or feel anything, it was surreal in a way. Then, he found himself in a small circular lake, and before him, Tahm Kench floated slowly, holding a Trident in his hand, with a glowing orb within the center. Wake: "What is that?" Tahm Kench: "This is the instrument of your salvation my friend" Tahm tossed Wake the Trident, he caught it and felt it surge through his body, the water around him began churning rapidly back and forth, creating tides and rapids along the rocks. Wake: "What is this feeling?" Tahm Kench: "This is the Trident Deep Moon, Its power its unmatched as it was forged with the Moon Stone embedded within, You are feeling its power course through you, and you through it." Wake felt uneasy, this fish had given him this weapon, this force over the waters around him. but why? Wake: "That isn't the feeling i meant." The fish grinned and began laughing of all things, like Wake had told it some sort of joke, Wake gripped the trident tight in his hand. Wake: "What did you do?" Tahm Kench: "I held my end of the bargain, i have delivered unto you the person means to the end you want. the only thing we need to do, is wait." Wake had enough of the fish, drove the Trident towards the large beast, before the Trident made contact, he felt weak, beyond anything he had before, the Trident surged as his vision faded. Waking up on his boat, he groaned and climbed up, feeling the motionless deck below him he saw the waters scattered around him, he could barely keep his balance he felt so exhausted, he dropped the Trident, he felt something like a chain drag his arm with it, he could feel, and see the connection between the Trident, Deep Moon. as the water receded around his boat and returned the river to its former state, he clasped the Trident as it came back to him, he didn't feel drained when he held it like he assumed he would, but he could sense the power he had been given, a chance of change.
