Zharkon is a bulky storm sorcerer. His size is similar to Darius, with bright blue flowing robes and beads. He has stark white hair and dark skin. His body is scarred. He has a distinctive white lightning-shaped scar from his hairline down through his left eye. His left eye is white with blindness. He wields no weapon.

Stats:

Attack Power: 2/10 (low) Defense Power: 5/10 (medium) Ability Power: 7/10 (medium) Difficulty 3/10 (low) Attibutes: Mage

Abilities:

Passive - Stormsinger: Casting Lighting Surge on a Storm Cloud reduces the cooldown and mana cost of Zharkon’s next Storm Cloud by X percent.

Q - Healing Rain: Zharkon targets a Storm Cloud to cause healing rains to come down for X seconds, healing the first two friendly targets it hits for X (+X percent ability power) over X seconds. Afterward, the storm cloud loses it's charge.

(The effect lasts a few seconds, giving allies time to walk into the rain. The healing effect is similar to Soraka’s rejuvenation)

W - Storm Cloud: Zharkon creates a cloud at a target area. The Storm Cloud has one charge. If Zharkon casts another ability on a Storm Cloud, it uses its charge to cause a bonus effect based on the ability used. Storm Clouds last for X seconds before they disperse.

(these would be summoned similarly to Syndra’s balls. They float very high up, giving the opportunity to partially obscure the summoners vision)

E - Lightning Surge: Zharkon calls down lightning in a small area of effect at a target area, briefly slowing and grounding anyone caught in the area before dealing X (+X percent ability power) damage. If Zharkon targets a Storm Cloud with this ability, The cloud releases its charge to deal X bonus magic damage to targets below. If Lightning Surge is used on a depleted Storm Cloud, the Storm Cloud regains its charge and the mana cost of Lightning Surge is refunded.

(this effect would be similar in aoe and timing to Karthas’ E - delayed blast)

R - Storm of Ages: Zharkon calls a huge storm, slowing and grounding all targets caught in the area and drawing in nearby storm clouds. Any Storm Clouds in the area instantly gain a charge and release them to deal bonus damage in that area as if Lightning Surge were cast.

(this effect would be similar to Gangplank’s R, with a distance limitation similar to Zyra’s R)

Tips:

Zharkon is a medium damage, medium survivability mage with a focus on sustained damage and health. His damage output stacks up over time, and his higher health and healing abilities allow him to stay in lane longer to keep up the damage. The difficulty of Zharkon is medium to low, considering his abilities are somewhat simple to combo and he has decent lane sustainability.

Zharkon’s role as a sustain mage makes him ideal for top or mid lane. His small aoe, sustainability, and powerful cc ultimate might make him a decent jungler, but he excels when he can stay in one spot with his Storm Clouds.

Use Zharkon’s E on storm clouds to increase the damage and make storm clouds cheaper. Hitting enemies directly below a Storm Cloud is more difficult, but it is very rewarding.

Use Zharkon’s Q to lay down storm clouds to set up a defense or to siege an objective. Using E on the storm clouds will allow you to put down more clouds quickly. Once lots of storm clouds are built up, use Zharkon’s R to cause tons of damage in the area.

Lore:

Zharkon is a proven sailor and mage who made his living sailing along the coast of Bilgewater. His wonderous ability to divert storms and control weather made him very famous, and very rich. He retired at a moderate age, thinking he would never have to work again.
Then one day, rumors of a fast approaching storm hit Bilgewater. The normally cool-headed people began to panic as they heard about the ferociousness of the storm. Local heroes like Nami and Fizz offered the idea that Zharkon should help. Zharkon warned them that the storm would wipe out anyone who did not evacuate immediately. No one listened to him. They believed that Zharkon was just being lazy - he had the power to control the storm and save Bilgewater, if he wanted to. Rather than evacuate Bilgewater as Zharkon suggested, the people brought him out to the shoreline and tied him to a post, forcing him to face the storm.
The storm came, devastating the coastline and all who stayed. Zharkon did all he could just to survive in the middle of the storm. When the storm subsided and the people recovered, they came to see that Zharkon had just barely survived. After making his recovery, he began his rampage. Zharkon sought vengeance on all those who put him out on that shoreline and left him to die. He aims to ensure that they suffer the same fate as he did.

“They will feel the kiss of lightning, and the storm’s embrace.”

Interactions:

Zharkon is natural enemies with Nami and Fizz, since they are the ones who suggested Zharkon take care of the storm. Zharkon identifies with Nautilus, who also seeks vengeance on those who wronged him.

Zharkon Taunts: Nami - “You will suffer my fate, Tidecaller.” Fizz - “The storm will embrace you, fish-boy.” Nautilus - “Vengeance. I like your style.”

Others' Lines: Zyra - “Stop stealing my lines, or you’ll feel my vines.” Nautilus - “Vengeance, Vengeance...Yesss.”
