Syran: The Urchin Blade Ranged AD _Primary Role: Assassin Secondary Role: Mage Lore: Syran grew up on the streets of Noxus Proper, living from crumb to crumb. After one particularly uneventful day, he ran into a shady looking character, who offered him enough gold to get him off the streets for good, the caveat: he had to steal a pair of daggers from a reputably well guarded shop in the slums. Seeing this opportunity for what it was, he agreed and set out at once. After a few minutes of searching he found the blades and pocketed them, no one the wiser, or so he thought. As he crossed the threshold to leave, a man boasting quite a hefty bit of muscle stepped in his way. Dodging past the man, he ran, pursued for blocks. Without any kind of plan for escape, he had to risk his pay and threw one of the daggers straight for the man's face. Drawing quite a bit of blood, the dagger found its mark and vanished. Stunned momentarily by the magics in the blade, Syran wondered where it had gone, until he felt the weight of it in his hand once more. With these blades, he knew exactly where to find glory, gold, and most of all, shelter. He headed for the Fields of Justice and offered his skills to the highest bidder. _

 Passive-**Fight Another Day**

Syran gets a 5% movement speed buff and all heals are 5% stronger after leaving combat. Takes 2 seconds to trigger. Lasts 5 seconds.

 Q-**Aim For Their Face**

Syran takes a moment to line up his shot and throws one of his daggers at his target's face. Skill shot. Damage 15/30/45/60/75+80% AD, blinds for 1/1/1.25 /1.25/1.5 seconds.

 W-**Take A Knee**

Syran takes a second to catch his breath, healing himself for 5/6/7/8/9% 3/6/9/12/15% of his max health and gets an attack speed boost for the percentage healed for 3/4/5/6/7 seconds. _1 Second channel _

 E-**Dirty Fighting**

Syran reaches down and throws a clump of mud into the target's mouth, silencing for .5/.75/1/1.25/1.5 seconds dealing damage equal to 10/20/30/40/50+60% AP Skill Shot.

 R-**Let 'Em Fly**

Syran throws his daggers with reckless abandon dealing 25/40/65+40% AD 30/55/80+40%AD per hit landed. Throws 10/15/20 knives. Syran is immobile while channeling, but can aim throws. Each knife has a 15%/20%/25% chance to apply on hit effects. Channel duration-2/3/4 seconds. Can still flash, but movement of any kind cancels the ability.

Heyo! I'll do a quick review, looks nice from a glance, especially the visuals I imagined for his abilities.

No lore ;-; I'm a big fan of lore, but I realize how much work goes into anything that feels good to publish.

Kit: Passive - Fight Another Day This and his W make him out to be a skirmisher, but the passive just feels a little lackluster. It's not a very large number,perhaps a larger buff of some other mechanic would make it feel more useful.

Q - Aim For The Face Nice, clean, and simple (unless you're the one with a dagger in the face). Nothing too complex here, not a lot to go wrong. Nothing, really, except maybe having a blind and a silence in the same kit.

W - Take A Breath I'm assuming this works similar to Master Yi's Meditate, in that he channels? If so, how long does he have to take a breather to get the maximum heal, and if not, how's it work? The wording on the amount of the attack speed buff is a little weird, does that mean he gets more attack speed the longer he rests, or the more he heals? They're kinda the same thing, but I guess he could take damage while resting, and that might confuse things.

E - Dirty Fighting It looks like this is targeted, and if it is, I really think that it should be a skillshot, considering you have a blind for him as well. If he's an ADC/Marksman type, then getting hit by these two skillshots is no less deserved than getting hit by Blitz hook, especially because Blitz is a tank who can safely stand outside of the minion wave. That wold offset having both those mechanics available.

R - Let 'Em Fly So this ability locks him down, which gets rid of some of his maneouverability (think I spelled that right...). He'll need peel like any ADC, but right now it feels like he doesn't really give anything up for standing his ground, I'm just looking at the passive for a little more character that might tie into the ult. The damages look really nice, compared to Lucian's ult it's a little bit weaker but you can change where you're aiming and are immobile. The chance to apply on hit effects is a nice concept, but I think that the numbers are a bit low, as 1/3/5 knives would apply effects (based on chances).

I thought I said "short" review, ah ha. Anyways, hope this helps you think a little more about how mechanics work and mesh, hope you learn from this!

i must agree with simon on a few points here. Syran feels like he has a mobility advantage, but abilities that lock him down or increase CC make it feel wasted. and i LOVE his abilities, love them, but the damage scaling and ratios are a bit off, he would be underwhelming in fights. also, primary role? a role base can help him feel more at home with his kit

Hello! The idea for Syran, The Urchin Blade really pleased me. As such, I would like to design a conceptual rework for this character. I plan to sketch out Syran and change some of his abilities. Preferably his passive and E-Dirty Fighting.

Firstly, I want to make some minor alterations to his lore. Maybe make the blades he uses related to the Darkin, such as Aatrox.

Secondly, I feel that his passive could use a few... changes. My idea was after a delay, he gains a scaling speed buff. Once the speed buff is maxed, he then gains the bonus healing. As for his E; a blind AND a silence in one kit might be overloaded, because that allows him to counter both basic attack-centered champs and casters. I was thinking a toggle ability, that still gave him some magic damage.

I like the idea of the champ a lot, he seems like he'd be fun to play and if there was anything that i could say something about it would be his ult, it feels something akin to Jhin's ult, and when I look at the wording it seem contradictory. He throws his knives with reckless abandon yet he's taken a secure stance and can aim his knives? Maybe it could be something where you have a set amount of knives and it fires like Irelia's ult however instead of them aiming directly at your cursor you instead get an indicator that sways back and forth the more you move, where the middle of the indicator's arc is where the cursor is. So it adds the "reckless" element to the ult while at the same time giving you plenty of ammo. It differs from his q by not blinding and not being aimed but it does more damage has a longer range and does not take time to cast and he can move.
