Salis, The Angel of Darkness
Salis is a Scythe wielding Angel of Darkness who manipulates the world by using Darkness powers, and mind manipulation.
Recent edits: added looks, a bit of lore, and some more Jokes, and taunts. Changed the name of her Passive to Mind Essence from Dream strings. Added draft Stats and role. Added video that brought be to post, and picture that looks kinda like her.
What brought me to posting this character concept is that I was watching Jeremy "Gaming Curious" about a character concept about a scythe girl "Komachi" Riot was thinking of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X53m29UW318 I know my concept isn't a tank like Riot is/was thinking of, but i wanted to shed new light on how they can approach this concept
Salis wears a Dark Grey cloak that gives the illusion of her being nothing but a simple human. She has pitch black hair and bright green eyes with light skin. when she moves about her scythe is hidden in this form, until she attacks or uses her q, then puts it away after 3 seconds of not attacking which disappears in a puff of black mist. When under effect of Approaching Darkness she is heavily covered in the black mist and flies in the direction she moves, wings are shown but cloak is still on. When Salis uses her ult the cloak disappears to reveal her pitch black angel wings, her hair and wings emit a light black mist, which flows behind her. her clothing is majorly grey with patterns of white and black. Passive: Mind Essence: Damage dealt to champions with her basic attacks or her Q, also killing minions gives her stacks of Mind Essence. Next W or E cast consumes all stacks and Deals bonus Magic Damage and an effect/effects based on the amount of stacks (these effects are unique to the spell it is tied to and do stack):
W effect bonuses: Slow, Grounded, Creates a Nightmare whose stats are directly tied to the target’s stats, and only the target can see and interact with the Nightmare (The over time damage is removed).
E effect bonuses: Marked targets yield more Mind Essence stacks/increases regeneration effect, dashes through marked targets with basic attacks/Increases move speed of allies effected by the regeneration, Marks no longer get consumed/removes all CC effecting allies.
Passive Explanation: I wanted to have these effects on the spells at first just flat on there, but decided that would be to powerful, so i added the stacking component to make it harder to just have it.
Q: Dark Dash: Salis dashes forward stunning the first champion hit briefly dealing AD, up to 1 second after that she can grab the victim with the scythe dealing AD and throw them in a direction, stunning and damaging them only if they hit a wall (the victim hitting a wall does not yield Mind Essence stacks).
Q Explanation: I've had this ability on this character from day one, a simple yet complex ability. This is the ability that finally brought me to post this concept through the video mentioned at the beginning.
W: Nightmare: Salis infuses her target with a nightmare dealing a flat amount plus a percentage of her AP over a period of time, and cutting them off from their team for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds, the target loses all allied vision, teammate’s vision shared by the target, and a percentage of the target’s vision gets reduced.
W Explanation: Another ability I had from day one, though it was her ult at the time and was a huge AOE channel that effected all enemy champions like the fully charged new version is. For the W I wanted it to turn into a traditional nightmare where you are by yourself and something is chasing you and you can't outrun it.
E: Dark Flourish: Salis Sends forth a wave of Darkness having different effects based on ally or enemy. Ally Effect: Boosts health and mana/energy regen (increases health regen amount if they do not have mana or energy) by a massive amount for a time. Enemy Effect: Marks each enemy hit with Wrath of Darkness: When she would basic attack the marked target, she deals bonus Magic damage dashing through them, which consumes the mark.
What i had for the E initially was a block like ability that consumed the first spell and you could recast it with bonus effects from Mind essence, but it did not capture the "Darkness is also good" theme i was going for, so replaced it with a the buffing spell instead.
R: Passive: Approaching Darkness: When unseen by enemy vision for 5 seconds Salis gains a large amount of move speed, this move speed buff ends instantly if she comes in sight range of an enemy tower and ends 2 seconds after she stays in sight of minions/pets or champions. But if seen by a ward she gets notified and it ends in 3 seconds if she stays in sight of the wards (switching ward vision doesn’t refresh the timer).
R Passive Explanation: This was at first this passive was switched with her initial passive, but the early mobility would give her a tremendous advantage against her lane opponent, so i switched it around. I wanted her to be one of the highest mobility champions without having to have a low cool down dash/jump. Also wanted to capture the, "hiding from the world" aspect I was also trying to capture
Active: Angel of Darkness: For 10 seconds she reveals her true form, gaining her passive move speed even while in vision of enemies, and gains increased AD, AP and, AS. Mind Essence stack count gain goes up.
R Active Explanation: One of the earliest part of her design was that she wasn't always in her true, powerful form, and still be able to beat you. But when she turned serious is when she took off her disguise. This represents that part of her. It's pretty self explanatory, turn it on, you get supper speedy and damaging with the added bonus that you gain the Mind Essence stacks more easily.
Salis during first encounter is very serious with an aggressive, condescending personality. But around children and people she is interested in she shows the more bubbly and teasing side of her personality, with Dark humor. As you gain mastery the more chance she has to say her bubbly and teasing quotes.

Lore: (Currently a Draft) One of the Oldest of an ancient race of Immortal winged beings Salis serves as a Emissary of Darkness, though the good side of darkness has been forgotten through the centuries, she has not forgotten. When the War between "Justice" and "Freedom" started each side looked to her curious where she stood she declared that separating them is not good for anyone. Disappointed in her answer, each side saw her as an enemy and she was forced to leave, or die. Traversing the stars she found a habitable world, Rune Terra.
Grieved by the inevitable loss of her race, she lived alone, and those who saw her either, left with vivid memories, or where destroyed by their own mind.
