My version of Jihn, kinda.

OK, ok, let me clarify. I was about to make my newest post about a champion idea about a long ranged sniper mage/assassin and adc but then Jihn happend, and Jihn is ovbiusly League of legends ad version of the sniper, in play style not in theme as Caitlyn is a sniper in her theme, but not that much in her playstyle, and xerath was the ap version. So that kinda messed with my plan of making this post, so at first I was going to simply not write this post but then I realised something. While i do commend riot on Jihn as he seems both fun, hard to master and decently balanced he isn't what i was thinking when it comes to the sniper playstyle. My vision is much more extreme I guess you can say. So i thought I'd post about my version of the sniper playstyle. But I do confess, I have changed alot of my ideas after JIhn as a lot of Riots ideas were better than my own. Also, I will be discussing a lot in this post between abilites, so if you don't care, skip them and just read the abilites.

First of is his lore. Its not nearly as interesting as Riot's, and altought I haven't read it myself, I have heard it summerised and it does sound very cool While Jihn's is more about making death beautiful, a kind of art if you will wich is really god damn creepy and cool, My guy, Whose name is Firh by the way, has more of a simple obsession with death, or moreso the moments before it. Basicly, Firh lived in the woods with his family of great hunters, and of all people in his line, his father was the greatest. However, the one thing Scard had over his father was his keen eyes, his aim was so precise he could shoot down flying birds from the sky. One time when they were out hunting together his father was killed by a cat like beast, the one they were hunting. Enraged Firh attacked the animal who fled, however Firh wasn't going to let up. So he finally manged to corner the animal, but it turned out to be more than an animal. It was the emodiment of the god of the hunt, Skard. It turned out Skard had killed his father becuase Skard loves to see his victims terrified looks on their faces before they're about to die to him, knowing that they were beaten. Firh was then jumped by Skard. He knew he couldn't beat the god in a fight, so he had to trick it. Pretendin to be beaten, he played scared, and Skard held of on killing him, enjoying his fear, however Firh did a fast stab with his hunters knife and drove it into the gods throat. As the god withdrew wounded and shocked, Firh loaded his crossbow and fired one shot extremly precisely straight into the gods hearth. He realised that he had actually killed a god, and didn't know weather to be terrified or extatic. Before he could decide, power flowed from the gods body into him, he gained the gods power! His aim become even better, and all his senses became much greater as well as general strengh and endurence increase. He was also filled with the gods mind, and gained his excellent insticts, however he also gained the gods love for the faces of the dying, wich he became obsessed with, so now he goes around, hunting people so he can see their dying faces.

As for theme I'm thinking a rugged leather coat, pants, shirt, gloves, rugged everything as well as a large hood and bandana for his face. His eyes would be glowing blue as they are heavilly enchanted and he would be wielding a very large crossbow. That's it for the theme, now on to stats and abilities.

HP: 497 + 84 per lvl Mana: 305 + 50 per lvl AD: 52 +3 per lvl AS: 0.500 + 2% per lvl Movement speed: 325 Hp regen: 5. 43 + 0.5 per lvl Mana regen: 5.6 + 0.95 per lvl Armor: 22 + 3.5 per lvl Mr: 30 + 0 per lvl

Something that you may have noticed is that his level one values are really low but he gains a lot per level. That's becuase I want him to be a late game god with super high damage and range, but to compensate for that he ovbiusly needs a bad early game. He has relativly low mana and mana regen but that increases a lot per lvl.


Passive - True sight: Frih gains 0.5 extra range to his basic attacks for every 1 bonus ad he has. Additionally, Frih's attackspeed cannot be improved except through grow, instead extra attackspeed increases his crit chance by 0,5% for every 1% attack speed. Every 1% bonus crit chance when Frih has over 100% crit chance increases his crit damage by 0.5%. Second passive - Patience: Frih gains 2/4/6 % bonus crit chance, increasing at levels 1, 8 and 16, every second while in combat with an enemy champion. This bonus caps at double his normal crit chance and it will always have a minum bonus cap of 30%

Ok, you can clearly see my inspiration from Jihn. I was already thinking about him having low attack speed and high attack damage and crit, but Riot inspired me to go that next step. Now as to discuss it; The bonus range is to give him the sniper feel, without giving him ridicules range early or just copying trist. His normal attack range is 600, pretty much same as Caitlyn, but as his attack grows he can gain upwards of 900 basic attack range. If you just build pure damage, you can get a maximum of about 650 ad, with full ad runes as well, wich means that you will have 925 static basic attack range, wich is very massive. However, most likely you will not have this unless you pretty much only build dmg and no attackspeed, crit or survival items. The second part is to give him the whole "slow but precise attacks". A phantom dancer gives 45% attackspeed and 50% of 45 is 22.5, wich means that with the 30% crit it already gives, you will get 52.5% crit from phantom dancer. So yes, you can get alot of bonus crit chance, but it isn't quite as bullshit as yasuo who can get it with 2 items, with phantom dancer and I.E you still will only have 72% crit chance, so you will at least need 3 big items to get 90% crit. The bonus crit damage will rarely be that large. The items that could be conciderd good on him is I.E and essence reaver wich probobly will be core, phantom dancer, maaaaybe trinity as he does get relativly low cooldowns late game. Static shiv would be bad as he has so low attack speed he wont be procing it often, rapid fire cannon could be good to give him even more ridicules attack range of over 1000 units. So if you get all these good items you will get 155% crit chance, in wich case you will get 22.5% bonus crit damage. And if you do this you will get lower ad so it may not even be worth it. I just thought I'd throw it in as a bonus. THe passive bonus crit for being in combat is neither that broken, as it wont come into play until late game that often. Trades early game rarely last long enough to gain any relevent amount of crit chance early, and as he only gains it by fighting WITH other champions, he can't bullshit lucky crits like Tryndamere can.


Q - Demice: Firh channels for 0.5 seconds before firering a bolt in a long, straight line dealing 70/110/150/190/230 (+1.1 ad) to all enemies hit until it his an enemy champion. If it hits an enemy champion, it stops dealing the damage to the champion, increasing by 1% for every 1% health they're missing. Mana cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana. Cooldown: 16/13/10/7/4. Range: 1200/1400/1600/1800/2000 units.

Ok, you thought JInx's w had a long range, well that has nothing on this. Now, as you can tell, at late game, this spell is extremly good. If you have a large amount of ad you can be pumping out hundreds of dmg every few seconds without any fear of retaliation, becuase you are about 9 miles away from them, however early game, this is very weak. Although it has a low mana cost, it has a very long cooldown and doesn't have that high base dmg even if the scaling is very good, so again, really strong late, weak early.


W - No hiding, no running: Firh puts down a trap at target location that triggers aftera 1,75 second delay, creating impassible terrain around the trap in a 350 units wide circle for 1.25 seconds as well as amplifying Frih's damage against trapped enemies by 2/4/6/8/10 (+0.03 ad) and revealing all enemies, including stealthed, for 4 seconds. Mana cost: 60/75/90/105/120 mana Cooldown: 22/19/16/13/10 seconds range: 900 units


This is my version of Jihn's trap. I was thinking about making it a trap to keep in with the patience of a hunter, but I thought that since he is fairly relient on hitting these traps, that would make him way to easy to counter and not taht good, so I just combined Jarvans ulti, with Swains nevermove and Talons cutthroat. Again, this is a late game ability. High early game cooldown that punishes you for missing it with very low damage amplification makes it relativly weak, but late game this can become very good. Not only is that 1.25 lock down some good cc that few adc's have, the bonus dmg can become huge late game. If you have 400 ad, you will get 12% bonus dmg, for a total of 22 damage amplification, wich is very good, but again balanced by being weak early game.


E - No remorse: Passive: Firh gains + 100/150/200/250/300 and 2/3.5/5/6.5/8% bonus damage against all targets below 30% of their max health on his basic attacks. Active: For the next 4 seconds, Frih gains double the passive bonuses against all targets on all basic attacks and spells. While this ability is on cooldown, Frih loses the passive. Mana cost: N/A Cooldown: 26/24/22/20/18 seconds.

Ok, i am very unsure on weather this ability is op or not. The passive is basicly there to make up for his early shityness somehow. He can max this ability first if he feels the need to to be able to stand back and farm low minions at about 800 units range, wich is also made easier by the damage bonus. The active can give him a total of 1500 range if he has high ad for about 4 seconds. For context, that is longer than Morganas Q range, and the bonus damage on everything can be massive, however the active it is not that good as it only works on low health targets. It's kinda like twitch's ulti, you only have a short while to do butt loads of damage, but damn do you do buttloads of damage for that shortwhile, so its all about timing to get the most out of it.


R - Gods gift: Firh loads all his god given powers into his next shot, shooting a massive bolt in a straight line. The bolt deals 200/500/800 (+ 1 ad) to the first enemy champion it hits. The bolt then continues to travel, gaining 800 bonus range and dealing 50% bonus damage of its normal damage to the next enemy champion it hits, before gaining the same bonuses again. These bonuses stack. Mana cost: 125/150/175 mana Cooldown: 110/90/70 seconds Range: 1400 units.

This ability could be anything from a giant nuke, to just a decent damaging skillshot. In lane this will be decent, decent base and good scaling, but in teamfights this could be godly. If you hit for example a tank right infront of you, then a fighter not far behind, this will deal 1600 + 200% of your ad to the next enemy champion. at up to 3000 units range, wich is the same as Lux's ulti. While without set up it might not be as good as other pure damage ulties, this has so much more potential damage than any other ulti in the game. Theoreticly, if you manage to hit 4 ppl with this, you will deal 2400 + 300% of your ad at up to 4600 units range! That is insane. Of course that requires insane set up, maybe with a Orianna ulti to get them clumped up.
