Aatrox Rework!

Everyone complains about the God of War not having a kit worthy of his title, and for being 1 of 5 remaining Darkin he falls consistently out of the meta, pretty much never used by any high level players. But I still love Aatrox, and he deserves better, so I am proposing a mini-rework that doesn't necessarily change his kit, but adds to it. All of which should add to his complexity, fun, and reward for playing well. Most of the additions revolve Aatrox's Q "Dark Flight" but lets start with a slight change to his E "Blades of Torment".

"Blades of Torment" is a skill shot that gets narrower as it travels until finishing at a point, with a 40% slow, and scaling AD damage. However no matter where you hit the skill shot it grants the same damage and the same slow. Completely failing to reward the difficulty of hitting the skill shot. Therefore the change I propose is to lower the slow to 30% for the main body of the skill shot, but raise the slow to 60% for hitting with the tip of the skill shot.

Now to the complex part. Aatrox has wings, but he only really uses them briefly to come crashing down in the least heroic way possible in "Dark Flight". In this change after Aatrox casts Dark Flight and he reaches his top height before crashing down he would have a 1 second window in which to cast another ability with altered "aerial" effects. All of his abilities apart from his W "Blood Thirst/Blood Price" have aerial alternatives. Keep in mind that the aerial and grounded variations of an ability, while having different effects have the same cool down. His aerial abilities are as follows,

Aerial Q "Slicing Decent"- Aatrox dashes through the air slicing enemy champions/minions/monsters with his sword and dealing high amounts of damage

Aerial E "Blades of Pain"- Essentially the same as Blades of Torment except there is no slow, and instead higher damage. The same tip mechanic would stay, but instead of having a larger slow, it would crit.

Aerial R "Bloodbath"- Somewhat a reverse of his normal ultimate ability. In this case Aatrox releases all of his stored blood in his blood well as an explosion, damaging all nearby enemies, dealing more damage and having a larger area of effect with more blood released. However instead of gaining attack speed and range himself he gives bonus attack speed and range to all allies inside the area of effect.

Now onto combo-ing aerial abilities, because it would be boring if you could only use 1 every time your "Dark Flight" is up. As I said earlier once he reaches maximum height from using "Dark Flight" Aatrox has a 1 second window to cast one of his aerial abilities, this window is shown with a single flap of his wings. Now if he chooses to cast one of his aerial abilities he will do that instead of completing his q by crashing down. So say Aatrox casts his E "Blades of Pain" after he finishes casting that Aatrox flaps his wings again giving another 1 second window to cast any of his unused aerial abilities. If no ability is cast then Aatrox finishes his "Dark Flight" and crashes into a target location. Each aerial ability can only be used once in a single flying state. However if when Aatrox is in the air, he chooses to cast his aerial Q "Slicing Decent" after he dashes through dealing damage he flies back up to his original height and again flaps his wings for the opportunity to cast any un-cast aerial abilities. Now if Aatrox can't or doesn't want to cast anymore aerial abilities he has to return to the ground, however since he already used his Q's aerial ability he can't finish "Dark Flight" by crashing into the ground. Therefore after finishing any aerial combo where "Slicing Decent" was used instead of finishing "Dark Flight" to get back to the ground, Aatrox glides back to the ground with increased movement speed while in the air for around 2 seconds, possibly able to go over a single nearby wall. While Aatrox is in his glide he is unable to cast any abilities or auto attack, and any damage done to Aatrox will stop his glide, causing him to fall to the ground.

So that is essentially it. Let me know if you have any questions, comments, suggestions and let's make this happen Rito!
