So, what else would be cool (heh) other than coming up with a literal monster hunter event. Let's start with the champion... or monster in this case... I would have chosen other monsters that were recently released in icborne such as Namielle or Nergigante, but since this is an iceborne event, Velkhana being the mascot of monster hunter world iceborne would be most fitting. I also inteded to make Velkhana a jungler, because in monster hunter world, most monsters are out in their environments, so it would be fitting for a frost dragon to be roaming an ecosystem. Unlike most champions with ice abilities in the game, such as lissandra and anivia, I wanted to make this champion have its abilities have the full potential of what freezing abilities can do. Yes I will be also making a TFT version of this too. Kit:

lane - jungle damage - Ad/Ap Role - Bruiser/Mage

Passive - Frozen Crown Velkhana grows ice and frost around its body constantly, growing itself its own frozen armor. Velkhana's ice armor grants it 10-50 bonus armor and magic resistance (based on level). Velkhana's armor can be broken (procedures explained below) but it will regenerate either after 20-10 seconds (based on level). Velkhana's armor can be broken in two ways, one, if velkhana is brought below 15% health, its armor breaks automatically. The other way is since velkhana has no mana bar, the bar is replaced with a frost bar (no it doesn't block damage for its own health bar), its armor has 100-225 points, and the bar takes 2% of all damage taken, being stunned or knocked up reduces the bar's points by 25, once it reaches 0 the armor breaks. When not damaged for 8 seconds, Velkhana's armor can regenerate by 1-2.25 points per second. Second part: Every time Velkhana kills an enemy unit, it creates a structure of ice, that also will apply to some of its abilities. The ice structure is counted as champion-made terrain. Ice structures last for 7 seconds before melting.

Q - Below-Zero breath Pressing the key makes velkhana fire a blast of freezing air in a straight line, exploding into an aoe either on the first enemy hit, or at the tip of its range, damaging and stunning opponents by freezing them in ice. Holding the key makes velkhana continuously breath freezing air in a straight line, constantly damaging and slowing enemies in its range, however it can be used up to 4 seconds before going on cooldown. Damaging any enemy with any of the two forms of this ability afflicts them with frostbite. Hitting an enemy afflicted with frostbite with a basic attack or velkhana's e bursts the status effect, while dealing bonus damage equal to 5-15% of their max health as true damage. The "holding key" part cannot go over walls, instead, it can make ice structures grow alone the walls it hits, even off its own structures, and other champion made terrain. (it can in fact be used to block pathways in the jungle)

W - Wings of Blizzards On initial cast, Velkhana takes to the skies for 5-10 seconds, gaining slightly more movement speed and is able to fly over terrain. Taking over 100-500 damage from a single attack forces velkhana to drop down from the skies, ending the effect. If Velkhana is still flying, the ability can recast, making velkhana glide over an area in a straight line to a target location, making a blizzard, but landing at the end of the process. The blizzard lasts for 3 seconds. Enemies cause in the blizzard take continuous damage and are slowed if they try walking in the opposite direction that the blizzard is blowing (which follows the direction that velkhana glides toward). If ice structures are caught in the blizzard, they are slightly enlarged, dealing more damaged once shattered (I will explain later).

E - Piercing Cold On cast, Velkhana pierces the end of its tail in a straight line, damaging opponents struck, and can be recasted for velkhana to jump backwards (opposite direction of the first cast) while lashing the tail out, dealing a smaller amount of damage than the first cast. If the tail hits any ice structure, it shatters them, making aoe explosions from where they were, dealing damage and slowing opponents hit. Opponents that are hit by additional explosion ice structures take 75% reduced damage from the last for each one they are hit.

R - Frozen Star Once casted, Velkhana slightly flies over the ground, channeling for 1.5 seconds, then unleashes its frost breath down at the ground below it, making a large wave of freezing cold energy, dealing great damage to enemies hit while slowing them. 4 outermost parts of the range form ice structures that then shatter. Ice structures hit by the abilities are detonated and shatter, but unlike the e, this time they can unleash a chain reaction, each one exploding after the next if they are close enough to each other. Casting the ult also automatically grants velkhana's frost armor back.

TfT version: Synergies: Glacial Dragon Mana: 200 Ultimate: Frozen Star - Velkhana basically does the same thing like its original ult, except it makes 8 ice structures that explode at the outermost parts. The initial blast and exploding ice structures both damage and temporarily reduce enemy's attack speed by 10-20% when hit.

Now let's discuss the event after the champion is out of the way. First off, we already know beast hunter skins exist on league, so during the event, they get a 50% discount. Also, four new monster hunter skins will be available with weapons from the series (only for that event, they cannot be purchased afterwards). Here are the ideas: Rathalos armor Leona (Sword and shield) Lagiacrus armor Caitlyn (Bowgun) Odogaron armor Zed (dual blades) Legiana armor Yasuo (longsword) Anyway for those who are going to be asking, yes, there would be an event pass involved. The chromas involved in the rewards from the event tokens are actually the armor sets of monster subspecies or variants: Silver rathalos Ivory lagiacrus Ebony odogaron Shrieking legiana The ward skin I had in mind would be a palico from the monster hunter series because... why not? For those thinking the event pass alone will not suffice, here is my idea for the PVE event for the collaboration. First, it's hunting through the specific areas in monster hunter world, such as the ancient forest and wildspire waste, hunting small monsters from those areas such as jagras and so on, including some larger monsters such as barroth, great jagras, paolumu, etc. At the endpoint of the gamemode, you face against Negigante, which has many powerful attacks, has a crap load of health, and has that massive dive bomb that everyone knows about. After completing that version of the gamemode, you unlock higher difficulty versions, all the way from easy to "g rank" once you reach the hard mode, which is the third highest difficulty, Bazelgeuse might come flying in to ruin your day (like in the base game). In master rank mode, you do not fight Nergigante, but instead you fight against Xeno'jiiva, the final boss from the base game. It is much larger, has more health than nergigante, and has devastating ranged attacked, including the laser breath that people only fear when he is arch tempered. Finishing the "g rank" difficulty gives you 300 tokens (enough to get one of the chromas), an exclusive icon, and a special little legend egg out of three specific ones which I will explain later. If you have the event pass, you of course get tokens by completing games, but you get EXTRA for completely matches of the event gamemode. If you think summoner's rift was affected by this event, here is the TfT nuke. Not only Velkhana will be available as a champion in Tft, but three new little legends are also going to be available. The little legends: Felyne https://monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/file/Monster-Hunter-World/mwh-palicoes-felynes-companion-gadgets-guides.jpg Helmcrab https://monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/file/Monster-Hunter-World/shiny-gold-helmcrab-300px.jpg and the almighty... Paratoad. https://monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/file/Monster-Hunter-World/endemic-life-environment-hazard-paratoad.jpg Yes, Velkhana as a champion (in either summoner's rift, aram, or TfT) will be permanently available since its a champion, as well as the little legends. The skins however, are temporarily available.
