League of Legends Character Concept: Mage, Tank Fimbul The Arch-Sage of Lokfar Lore:

Fimbul was born in a village on Lokfar. There, he was raised by sages, who saw in him a natural talent for scrying and cryomancy. He trained for many years, hoping to become the Arch-Sage, only to have his training interrupted by a powerful and destructive entity. The entity had become known as Brand, since it was both made out of fire, and could control it. Lokfar had faced many creatures and disasters, but Brand stood out. He easily crushed Fimbul’s home village, forcing the remaining sages to take to the wilderness. The sages realized that Brand had to be stopped, and that only Fimbul had the potential to do so. But, despite his training, Fimbul barely survived his first encounter with Brand, and there was not the time to train further. So the sages performed a ritual. They gave their lives, and in return, Fimbul received their skill, power, and knowledge, as well as the title of Arch-Sage. Armed with this newfound power, Fimbul went to face Brand once more. However, he was still not strong enough to completely kill Brand. With all his might, he sealed Brand in ice, where Brand remained imprisoned for centuries, slowly losing his power, and his life force. One day, however, a man released the weakened Brand, who possessed the man, until he could recuperate. The molten ice took shape shortly after, and became Fimbul once again. Infuriated by his apparent failure, he unleashed his powers, and tore the cave and the land asunder. After he had calmed down, he attempted to locate Brand with his scrying. However, he was instead met with a vision. The vision showed Runeterra being destroyed, caught in the crossfire of three beings: Himself, Brand, and an axe wielding warrior unknown to him, who had been consumed by the need for a worthy death. Fimbul now had a new purpose. To stop this vision from coming true, by killing both of them, one by one, before their powers could be realised.

Abilities:

Passive: No Escape Abilities and basic attacks deal 0.2% more damage per 1 point of movement speed lost by enemy champion to slow effects, including slow effects not applied by Fimbul.

Q: Cryo Vines Icy vines move in a straight line, dealing 20/30/40/50/65(+35%AP) magic damage and slowing by 30/33/36/39/45%. Mana Cost: 33/43/53/63/83 Cooldown: 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 sec

W: Prophet of Lokfar Passive: Abilities apply Sage Vision on enemies for 8/13/18/23/28 seconds.

Toggle: Fimbul begins to meditate, gaining vision of all enemies with Sage Vision on them. Freljordian Prophet takes 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 seconds to switch off. Fimbul is incapable of using abilities, basic attacking, and moving whilst meditating. Mana Cost: 3/4.5/6/7.5/9 per second Cooldown: 40/46/42/38/34

E: Sage’s Brand Turn into an icy prison and trap target champion for 2/2.3/2.6/2.9/3.2 sec, making the target immune to all incoming damage. If the target is an enemy, they will lose 20/25/30/35/40% AD and AP for 3 sec upon being released, as well as taking Magic Damage equal to 40/45/50/55/60% of lost AD or AP, determined by whichever is larger. Mana Cost: 75/85/95/105/115 Cooldown: 32/27/25/23/18

R: Three Year Winter A global range frost wave moves from Fimbul’s location, dealing 50/60/70(+40%AP) Magic Damage to all targets. A second wave with a radius of 6000 units is released 1 sec later, dealing 70/80/90(+50%AP) Magic Damage to all targets. A final wave with a radius of 3000 units is released 1 sec later, dealing 110/130/150(+80%AP) Magic Damage, and applying 30/50/70% slow for 2/3/4 sec. Mana Cost: 110/140/170 Cooldown: 130/115/100
