New Kayle Ult Idea
As already mentioned,
is getting a rework. I have an idea I would like to offer for her new ultimate and a way to salvage her current ultimate that would enhance gameplay.
Ultimate: Holy Judgment
Upon activating Holy Judgment, Kayle immobilizes herself for .5 seconds up to 1.5 seconds, depending on how long she holds the ability down, spinning and turning untargetable in the process. After the .5 second delay, she stabs her flaming sword in a target direction dealing 200/300/400 (+50% ability power) (+30% of their missing health) magic damage to each enemy hit. It has a 100/150/200 mana cost and a 120-second cooldown. Its width is 150 units and its length is 300/600/900 200-400/500-700/800-1000 units_ (based on how long it's held down)_. (While Kayle spins, the player would still be able to adjust the stabbing direction.)
As for her current ultimate: Intervention...
is supposed to be the anti-burst summoner spell, but it does its job poorly. Intervention does Barrier's job much better and is extremely versatile. I think the best solution is to replace Barrier's effect with Intervention's effect and increase the cooldown. More specifically, Barrier should grant any target ally champion, (including yourself), invulnerability for 1.5 seconds. The cooldown should be 240 seconds.
e, how much damage is she really dealing? Also, some individuals choose to build her more as a mage/marksman type dealing damage from afar. If she's immobile during her ultimate, it doesn't really match that playstyle and effectively restricts the roles she can be played in making her less versatile.
, her ult is ranged, untargetable, can move during it, is longer than .5 seconds, and has the potential for cc, but
but with damage afterward. Now with that being said, I think this has potential and can see it going far with more buffing to it.
main like me. It's hard enough surviving the damage from ranged attacks when I'm not trying to go in. It's even harder to go in and deal any kind of decent damage. Barrier would give me just a little more time to make an impact.
