How about an old lady champion?
Anivia doesn't count. We've got old man Zilean, kid Annie, and plenty of prime-of-life aged champions, but no old ladies. I, personally, want to see an old woman kicking ass and taking names on Summoner's Rift. :P

What about a distinguished old Lady of War, armored up in royal finery and ready to kick ass in the name of Demacia? I refer, of course to the as-yet-unnamed Queen of Demacia, J3's wife and J4 's mother. J4 had to get all that badass somewhere...
Would be a lot of fun potential for interaction with other champions too...
- Asking him how he's surrounded by beautiful talented women but can't get a date.
- Telling him he needs to suck it up and ask 'that nice Katarina girl' out.
- Reminding him if he mistreats

Actually, I think League has room for many old ladies:
- Lady of War (maybe a 50s-60s Queen of Demacia as suggested by Trylobite ?)
- Old Mystic (perhaps an Ionian Ninja master in her 80s, fresh out of retirement after Zed's massacre?)
- Kooky Old Cat Lady (senile,mostly harmless)
- High Priestess (60s-70s-ish, a Solari, an Ionian, a Shuriman, a Freljordian... Just an old woman with a lot of power in her hands.)
Given Riots random behavior with Female champions there is about a 50% chance that she will only get skins of her as another generic looking young woman though, If Only Morello's dedication against teen Annie applied to all pointless changes to character to make them more appealing to the lowest common denominators,
Doris, The Old Lady (mage)
Passive - Eh, What's That? Doris cannot hear her enemies, reducing her sight of them but also taking reduced damage.
Q - Neighborhood Watch Damages and fears all shady-looking characters in a 60 degree cone for a short duration.
W - Shopping Cart Doris shoves her shopping cart in a line. Any enemy hit takes damage.
E - Disinheritance Doris disinherits you, gaining a shield of not caring for a few seconds.
R - Talk Your Ear Off Doris talks for 3 seconds; all champions in a 750 range radius are slowed. At the end of the channel, all champions still in range are bored to tears, taking damage and being stunned for a short duration.
I could see this going a couple ways. In terms of character archetypes, you could have a wicked-witch-of-the-west kinda character, maybe an older ionian lady that's still super fit and spry (and wielding fans, because why not), maybe an older priestess type lady...
Lissandra is freaking ancient. But an old witch-type could be cool.

Should be with the Poppy rework with a skin, short old crotchity lady in armor kicking your ass with a broom would be AWESOME.

I'm thinking an old woman sort of like from that episode of Avatar the Last Airbender. The old water bender lady who stole the water and life out of plants around her, and even knew how to blood bend.
