Auto Attack Animation{Kruularion throws round blasts of energy from his hands.}

Abilities:

Passive: Soul Eater: Upon killing an enemy minion, enemy champion, or jungle monster Kruularions gains a soul. Souls can be stacked indefinitely.

Upon gaining a soul Kruularion's damage is increased by 5% for 2 seconds.

When using a skill and you have at least 10 souls collected, your skill does an empowered effect and then ten souls are lost. Half of all gathered souls are lost upon death.

Q: Hit and run(Skill shot): Kruularion shoots out an orb of energy in a targeted direction for 600 range.

When it hits an enemy it deals 70/100/130/160/190(+55% of his AD) physical damage and goes back to Kruularion, afterwards bouncing off of him as well.

The orb bounces up to four times for 600 range, every next hit dealing 4% more damage than the previous.

If it hits a target while returning to Kruularion it bounces back in the opposite direction, until hitting another target.

The skill does not do damage to allies or buildings.

When used with 10 souls, while the orb is present, the skill can be reactivated once until its momentum ends and Kruularion will teleport to the orb's location, causing it to vanish.

If by the time the orb's momentum ends on its own and the skill hasn't been reactivated Kruularion does not teleport anywhere.

The cooldown of the skill begins to reset after the orb vanishes from the map.

Cost: 45/50/55/60/65 mana | Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds | Range: 600

Animation{Kruularion's arms come together and get enveloped in a large monstrous serpent head, the orb shoots out of the mouth of said head.}

W: Excessive Release:

Passive: Kruularion's basic attacks do 3/4/5/6/7% out of his AD as magic damage.

Active: Kruularion's damage is increased by 4/5.5/7/8.5/10%. His basic attacks slow enemy movement speed by 13/16/19/22/25%, and splash, dealing 70% of his original damage in a 250 range long 60 degree cone behind the original target they hit.

When empowered with 10 souls, the slow effect is applied to all the enemies hit by the splash of the attack.

Enemy minions/jungle monsters killed while Excessive Relase is active reduce it's cooldown by 1 second. Enemy champions killed or assists while Excessive Release is active reduce its cooldown by 3 seconds.

Cost: 40/45/50/55/60 mana | Cooldown: 16 seconds | Range: 0

Animation{Monster heads like the one from the splash art form on his hands and spit out firelike blasts of astral energy, which explode to deal the splash damage(kind of like water balloons). When the effect ends the heads flow up his hands and vanish.}

E: Chaotic Convergence:

Passive: Kruularion’s basic attacks apply stacks of astral evergy, which cap at 5. The stacks vanish from the target after 6 seconds of not being attacked by Kruularion.

Active: Kruularion drops a serpent in a circle that is 350 range in diameter on the ground for 10 seconds. Enemies that walk over the circle take 30/35/40/45/50 (+35% of his AD) (+10 for every stack of astral energy on the target) physical damage and their movement speed is slowed by 12/14/16/18/20%(+2% for every stack of astral energy on the target) for 4 seconds. The active holds 3 charges which can be used in quick succession. One charge is restored every 19/18/17/16/15 seconds.

When used with 10 souls, the enemies that have five stacks of astral energy applied on them are stunned for 2 seconds, instead of being slowed, when walking over a circle.

Cost: 35/40/45/50/55 mana | Cooldown: 19/18/17/16/15 seconds | Range: 600

Animation:{Passive: Small orbs of fire, like the one coming off of Kruularion, float around the targets. When a target has 5 stacks on it the orbs form a full circle that surrounds the target like a ring. ; Active: Kruularion points one of his arms up and a serpent, like the ones from his splash, fly out and fall down to make the circle.}

R: Astral Web: Kruularion summons eight pillars of astral energy, forming the shape of a web, 700 range between a pair of pillars, which after a 1 second delay shoot out beams of spectral energy, dealing 140/220/300(+ 50% of his AD) physical damage to all enemies hit by the beams.

Note that if the targets are in the space between the beams and are not hit by them, nothing happens to them.

Upon using his ultimate, Kruularion loses all of the souls he has collected, healing allies(and himself) hit by the beams of Astral Web by 30(+2 health per soul lost) health.

Again, if none of your allies, or you, are hit by the beams they do not receive a heal.

Cost: 150/175/200 mana | Cooldown: 110/100/90 seconds | Range: 870

Animation{Kruularion slams his hands into the ground, making the pillars emerge.}

Lore:

"A broken spirit can make for a great toy, and a dangerous weapon when reassembled." - Thresh .

The oldest origins of the being known as Kruularion are unknown. The little information that managed to preserve itself in legends comes from milenia ago, about a trickster spirit, who moved around the entire world of Runeterra. He loved doing mischieful, but harmless pranks to people, bringing joyous times wherever he went. Children all over really enjoyed his company, considering him their friend, as he did them.

These legends did hold some truth. Kruularion was a spirit manifested from the very life force of the world and it was indeed all existing life that fueled the being's very existence, allowing him to continue drifting on the winds of time. And thanks to the ever growing abundance of life he also gained power to bend essence, helping it grow and flourish, this being the reason for his love for the young. A companion who made times more joyful is what many children thought of him.

His life was a blast, until a warlock with immense power and even greater desires, heard of Kruularion and his way of existing, which gave him an idea on how to achieve one of his desires - immortality.

One day, Kruularion had caught wind of a little girl's cries for help, amplified by magic. He immediately went to intervene, happening upon the warlock, who was holding the girl captive. Her terrified pleading gaze was the last the spirit remembers from his old life, for at the next moment the warlock slid the girl’s throat. Enraged by that the spirit charged at him, only to be bound by a rune trap carved into the ground, and filled with the child's blood. Performing a necromantic ritual mixed with one of binding and amplifying the combination with his power, the warlock harnessed the spirit into his body. Kruularion was to keep him alive, for as long as he existed, and that would be for as long as there was life, which formed a very sick and twisted symbiosis, supposed to last eternally, preserving the warlock from the touch of time, diseases and healing any physical wound he would suffer .

The spirit thrashed within its new prison, attempting to escape, but his tries were in vain as the warlock's own soul kept him under lock and key, forcing itself into Kruularion's essence.

The warlock had used his newfound trait to wreck havoc upon the land, slaughtering thousands and using their souls to empower his arcane powers. Ever since the first soul that was absorbed into the combined being the warlock and Kruularion now were, the spirit, slowly but certainly losing his sense of joy and compassion, had sworn to one day destroy the man and every single end of his blood line. Bit his claims were casually ignored.

Centuries after that the warlock had decided upon the new goal in his life - finding the long lost skull of the fierce undead warlord Mordekaiser and absorbing the powers locked away within the now artefact like remains of the famed metal master of death. His search led him to the uncharted lands of the Blessed Isles. However, he was not aware that the Isles' guardians had foreseen his arrival and prepared for it. The moment the warlock set foot on one of the islands he activated an arcane trap, which sucked away all of his magical power.

That however did not take out his companion, so at the very least he had retained his death-cheating abilities. Which as he would soon find out would work against him. Rendered powerless, the warlock was quickly overpowered by the guardians, who put him in chains and entombed him with all of the artefacts they had guarded in the catacombs beneath their capital, under the diligent watch of Thresh, a mad man obsessed with torture as the warlock would soon get to know him.

During all of the torture he had to endure the warlock's mind snapped, while the same happened to his own prisoner. But unlike the now fearful and shattered man, the spirit within would laugh maniacally, the centuries spent under the warlock's vile life had changed the fun loving trickster of old, who was no more. In his place was now a sinister being who loved every single painful moment the "chain warden" brought upon the warlock.

Neither knew how much time had passed since their imprisonment, but that would not matter for long when a king from a far away land arrived on the island, seeking to bring his wife back from the dead, and in his quest transformed the isles into a dark and twisted bastion of death and darkness, covered by a thick black mist which transformed all it touched into a monstrous apparition.

After his transformation Thresh was now free to share his talents with the world, and he started by ripping the warlock's soul out of his body, assuming it nothing more than an empty flesh bag. But it was far from empty. Kruularion was still attached to the body. Some time after Thresh had left, the dark miasma that chocked the surrounding area seeped into the catacombs and reached the dead body.

As it enveloped and dug into it, the black fog broke the magical chains still residing within the corpse, giving it to the prisoner within. The spirit's assuming of command, along with the touch of the fog burned the flesh off, leaving a new creature, born into undeath, a ghost in a physical form. The fractured spirit that was now in control retained few of his memories from his time before his imprisonment by the warlock. His love for mere pranks, thanks to both the warlock and Thresh's efforts had turned into an addiction for causing others unimaginable torment.

After leaving the catacombs, Kruularion soon discovered that he could control and manipulate the astral energy reaping out of him, making it assume any form he wanted. Along with that came another discovery - the warlock's addiction for souls had left a rather sizable impact on Kruularion. Keeping to his roots his existence still depended on life, only now instead of being near it, he had to consume the souls of the living in order to sustain his new undead form. That however didn't bother him none. In fact, it went perfectly with his newfound means of entertainment.

However, one thing from his older days most certainly remained within the wraith - the promise he made to the warlock. Now that the man was gone, all that was left was to eradicate anyone of his bloodline, the desire for doing so getting fueled by the spirit's burning hatred towards the warlock. Whenever the black fog allowed it, Kruularion would go to the mainland to hunt them down. His quest provided an intriguing discovery. The warlock's blood ran wide. The specter could find it almost everywhere amongst the population of the nation of Shurima. That was the reason his hatred had grown to encompass both all the people of Shurima, because he didn't truly care about the innocents that would fall in his search for the warlock's brood, and the desert land itself.

But as a whole he preferred to not be around the Isles as his desires conflicted with those of the other lords of the Shadow Isles, which left him as an outcast amongst them, who obeyed and cared no one, making him more of a pest they would like to be rid off, but would not push away in the few times when his intended path of destruction aligned with their own. So long as he did not get in their way.

Not all that exciting or original, and I see there's some recycling going on. C

I don't want to discourage you, but I have to agree with Char97.

This guy is thematically waaay too similar to Thresh, and he just really doesn't offer anything new, nor does he seem to fulfill a specific niche, or innovate at all, as far as I can tell. :/

You could also reformat and clean up this page to make it more presentable and appealing to the eyes.

Here's my entry into the CCOS if you're curious: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/cXq7B5Iw-champion-concept-imoen-an-honest-thief-yordle-support-marksman

Hi there, I saw your entry in the CCOS and was really intrigued! Your champion is interesting, so I'm going to leave you some feedback on them. I hope it's helpful for you!

This isn't a terribly important note on its own, but 560 is an unusually unique range for an adc. 550 is the average, only exceeded by Varus, Ashe, Caitlyn, Jinx, and Tristana after some levels. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with this though, but it's unconventional.

In reading the passive, I like the thematic of it. It reminds me a bit of other snowball-y champions like Draven, Veigar, or, most comparably, Thresh. Thresh gets bonus AP and armor though, whereas Kruularion gains a brief percentile damage boost and has empowered skills gated by soul collection. Again, this sort of resource mechanic is not bad on its own and can be interesting and counterplayed, but thematically you are practically stomping on Thresh's figurative toes here and that is the biggest issue.

As for Kruularion's Q, well... this certainly escalated quickly. I see you took inspiration from Nami's W, which can bounce back and forth between enemy champions, herself, and allies for varying benefits and detriments depending on who it hits. That's fine. Nami's even has a larger range to accommodate the unique mechanical interaction. Kruularion's... does not, at 600 versus 725, but is focused on damage instead. And do damage it does, getting 4% stronger every time it hits an enemy. Also unlike Nami's W, it may keep pinballing between enemies until it expires. I'd hate to be the poor sap who got hit for 112%, especially considering Nami's W actually had its effectiveness cut by 85% per bounce no matter what it did. On top of all that, this champion gets a vastly longer range flash after being able to soften up their targets. As an adc. Wow. You may want to reconsider this ability in light of your power budget and comparable champion abilities.

The W is... certainly something. The passive attempts to make Kruularion a hybrid damage dealer. Now, unfortunately, Riot historically dislikes hybrid building because it makes balance really hard to do and walling the champion impossible in most all cases. Thankfully this isn't one of them, as 7% magic damage isn't even a blip on the radar, so the passive effect is pretty much wasted.

The active is both a bit on the nose and uninspired. There's a reason why tiamat and the hydra items are reserved for melee champions, after all, and making enemies you hit slow down on top of a damage buff just makes me thing the real purpose is setting up Q pinball. This ability is, in effect, a chunk of stats thrown in like darts on a dart board, and while it works okay with the kit there are a lot of more interactive and counterplayable options you could do here instead. You also didn't list the duration of this ability, but I'm going to pretend it lasts for maybe 4 to 6 seconds at max rank to be fair.

Kruularion's E passive is... another resource. Okay, that's... unconventional, but could work I guess. A bold strategy, Cotton, and so forth. I like the counterplay in the passive, so you get some points there.

The active, however, is another story. This active has a range slightly larger than Ziggs's satchel charge. This radius is so weird I thought the 3 was a typo at first, but it apparently isn't since Kruularion can store three charges of the E active and drop them periodically. So I guess they're supposed to work closer to Caitlyn W's rather than Ziggs's Hexplosive Minefield, but there isn't a counterplay to be had here. You either don't get hit by the irregular autoattack range or you don't get hit by the trap, because if you do then you take damage and get slowed. Full stop. Contrast Caitlyn W, where Caitlyn has to snipe you to punish you. When thinking about it as a trap rather than a strange ability (which is hard because Caitlyn's trap radius is 67.4 and this is 350), this means you could wall a lane and slaughter anybody trying to push; they're taking damage and won't get to you in time. If you ever get 10 souls, they're stunned. Stunned. Wow. So, well, as I said earlier, you may want to reconsider this ability in light of your power budget and comparable champion abilities.

This ultimate is, uh... honestly, pretty underwhelming as far as ultimates go. I have some difficulty conceiving of how the beam fires, but if it's anything like an Obelisk of Light from the Brotherhood of Nod then that's fine I guess. Damage isn't bad, but that's all this does. Damage. The heal, for what precious little there is of one, is so trivial that it may as well not exist. Why, exactly? Well, let's suppose you play the hypothetical Best Bot Lane Ever. You have an amazing support (leona) who does everything possible to get you ahead, and you manage to get a perfect 100 creep score in 10 minutes. Awesome, that's 200 souls! There's a dangerous teamfight in mid, so you run over, pop your ult, and... 430 damage heal. And then you will never, ever, heal that much ever again. Contrast Soraka, who can heal for 350 at base rank 3 for her ult and a lot more reliably, or 200 at rank 5 of her W on a single person. Not only are you a gimped fourth-rate healer, but your souls for powering your abilities are gone now too, so your whole resource game is totally ruined. So Kruularion has an ult he cannot afford to use unless he has few or no souls; that sounds like anti-synergy and downright unfun gameplay to me.

On the whole, Kruularion doesn't especially feel like an ADC so much as an Attack Damage Mage. Not only that, but his kit alternates really weirdly between criminally underpowered and breathtakingly hard to counter. He'll probably get banned a lot just because I can easily see him being a nuisance in various lanes if someone just pretends Q is their only worthwhile skill and ignores his ult entirely, but boy oh boy is this kit a rollercoaster. How would you play against this champion, for example? How do you counterplay those enormous traps, especially when they're soul-empowered? How do you deal with a champion who can outpoke some mages with his Q and yet is in bot lane with no problems to show for it?

Thank you for your contribution and, again, I hope you find this helpful!

Hey there, ccos review for you :)

Kit:

Passive - It's an interesting spin on Thresh's passive. Mostly in the laning phase this means he gets an empowered skill every 10 minions or 2 waves roughly. Depending on the actual bonuses, that's a long time, though it gives him potential windows to really fight enemies. I'd suggest having the required number of souls lower later on in the game, as Kruularion probably isn't going to have as much time to stack souls, and due to the way it works, he probably won't realistically have much more than 10 stacked at any time.

I would definitely have the damage boost scale up. 5% isn't very much, and later on he won't be able to get it very reliably.

Q - This is really funky. The damage is potentially insane if you can hit a single enemy with it multiple times, but that's really unlikely unless the enemy is being careless with his positioning. I do have to ask, which direction does it go after bouncing off of Kruularion again?

One thing that does come to mind is that this would be an interesting thing to throw onto an attacker/caster hybrid adc, as it would essentially let Kruularion get multiple pseudo-casts off without breaking his aa rhythm.

The range is very low, though. 600 is about average for an untargeted skill, skillshots usually have about 900 range and go up from there, especially considering this is an adc. For a 600-range skillshot to work it'd have to be spammable and be on a bulkier champ.

W - Kill the passive. Hybrid ad/ap damage on an adc is strictly Corki's gimmick now. The W slow cannot stand. There's a reason that Frozen Mallet is geared to be used by bulky melee champs; a ranged champ with a slow on his aa's cannot be reached by any champ that isn't very mobile. Kruularion would be brutal at kiting. Also the ability is just a steroid. Nothing really interesting from a gameplay standpoint.

E - Powerful on its own, horribly abusive with everything else. What's going to happen is he's going to kite you and leave his traps, causing you to get stunned and never reach him.

R - Woah, no. NO. This is a mage or a support ultimate! It deals damage in a huge area while also healing allies. It's completely unfitting for Kruularion as an adc.

I started off liking Kruularion's kit, but as time went on I really came to not like what I was reading. He's too good against melee champions thanks to his extreme kiting and mobility, but against ranged champions he's going to get murdered because his kit doesn't really support a standard adc build, at least not as far as I can see. He has no basic attack steroids as far as I can see beyond % damage increases, so against a burst mage or a more standard adc, he's going to get outbursted and killed. He feels more like an attacker/caster AD hybrid champion than an adc to me.

Lore - Pretty sad to see the way Kruularion fell. His connection with Shurima is a bit forced, but the idea of a vengeful ghost running around killing innocent people is pretty frightening and could work. It feels like something from a horror movie. It was a pretty decent on the whole, though I somewhat dislike that he had a strong connection to Thresh.

Hey, do me a favor sometime and review Huilang, please :D

Wow. You definitely put a lot of time into your lore and taunts. But I will be reviewing abilities now:

Passive: Soul Eater: Upon killing an enemy minion, enemy champion, or jungle monster Kruularions gains a soul. Souls can be stacked indefinitely.

Upon gaining a soul Kruularion's damage is increased by 5% for 2 seconds.

When using a skill and you have at least 10 souls collected, your skill does an empowered effect and then ten souls are lost. Half of all gathered souls are lost upon death.

I like this! It allows you to save souls for a tricky teamfight or 1v1 where you can surprise enemies with your extra skills. However, I think you should get more souls on champion kills, like 5 or 10. Also, damage should scale with level, making it more useful late-game.

Animation{Kruularion's arms come together and get enveloped in a large monstrous serpent head, the orb shoots out of the mouth of said head.}

Wow! This is well-designed. The cooldown is a bit low, however. 10 / 9.5 / 9 / 8.5 / 8 seconds is better. Also, I think the damage should be lowered and the additional damage increased. For example: 50 / 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 (+30% AD), +15% per additional hit. This will reward smart positioning since you can hit 3 minions and then a champion for +45% damage (imagine Jhin's Q).

Animation{Monster heads like the one from the splash art form on his hands and spit out firelike blasts of astral energy, which explode to deal the splash damage(kind of like water balloons). When the effect ends the heads flow up his hands and vanish.}

Does his passive do 7% BONUS damage, or does 7% of his AD deal magic damage per attack? Also, what's the duration of this? 1 attack? 3 seconds? 10 years? :) I think 4 seconds is a good duration for this. Great design, however. I like how the splash damage isn't simply a circle, so you need to pick targets well to maximize your AoE.

Animation:{Passive: Small orbs of fire, like the one coming off of Kruularion, float around the targets. When a target has 5 stacks on it the orbs form a full circle that surrounds the target like a ring. ; Active: Kruularion points one of his arms up and a serpent, like the ones from his splash, fly out and fall down to make the circle.}

It seems REALLY difficult to get a stun off here. I know he's an ADC and stuns are rare on them, but you won't get the stacks you need unless you're actually chasing, and even then it's an early-game ability; you'll kill squishies in less than 5 autos. Good for the slow, but I would increase it since the stun is difficult to actually land. Good ability; more use early game, definitely, as you can stack 5 energy without the enemy panicking and backing off. However I would like to see something more interactive with this ability; for now it's just a slow circle. It would have to be rebalanced, but it would be really useful if this grounded enemies on top of slowing. This would prevent mobile ADC's from doing much.

Good concept. I LOVE how enemies have a safe spot within the beams. Mana cost MAY be a bit high but otherwise it's good. However, I think that damage per quarter-second is more applicable here. Why? 1 second isn't much reaction time for enemies and if they are standing in the beams they won't really have time to leave. Also, allies won't have time to enter the beams because they won't be able to move there in time. If I play with the numbers really quick... Deals 40 / 55 / 70 (+10% bonus AD) damage per quarter second for 2 seconds (maximum 320 / 440 / 560 [+80% bonus AD]). Heals allies for 10 / 15 / 20 (+1 / 1.5 / 2 per soul) per quarter second for 2 seconds (maximum 80 / 120 / 160 [+8 / 12 / 16 per soul]). Deals a little bit more damage overally but gives enemies a chance to not take the full damage.

LOVE this concept. Would be a very unique ADC playstyle, a bit more ability-reliant and mage-like. AMAZING job with the lore and taunts; this is definitely close to a worthy champion for the game.
