Skin gifting concept

Ok, so me and my friend the other day were talking about how he had a certain skin, and i had a certain skin, (I play and he plays ) and how a good concept that would enable alot of interesting developments is if i was able to give a skin like project to him because i have it, and how he could give me lets say a good skin like for example Nightbringer . This could be a good addition to the game because it could add something like trading, make it so if you get a skin out of a box of a champion you dont play you can trade it with one of your friends for a different skin, both parties possibly making profit. I thought this was a pretty good concept, but im not really sure if it was talked about yet, if so i would like to know and see the feedback that they received after thinking of this concept.
