Zemst: The Bottled Lightning

So I got bored. and Thought to myself, what if the old item 3156 came to life, as a champion. from there I thought, why not make him out of Glass, and fill him with lightning.

Zemst was designed mostly in mind to be an ADC or a mid-laner, with potent late game potential. his main flaw is his near complete lack of sustain, the only thing allowing him to restore health being Lifesteal and spellvamp (Sorry warmog's). Some important things for Zemst are AD/AP, and CDR/Attack speed, but easily the most critical being Lifesteal/Spellvamp due to his total lack of regeneration. Comparatively to other ADC's Zemst has Much higher Magic resist, as his increases as he levels, as well as his base armor, which at level 18 will round out to around 72.

Lore and Relations Researcher's log day 41:The bottle of lightning: The hot desert sun beat down on us for hours, but we kept digging, nothing but old pottery and useless & broken tablets However it seems as though these shards recovered from the Shuriman ruins yesterday have promise, though once kept in a bottle they seem to have changed and formed something, a spark of lightning within... I wonder how this will turn out?

Researcher's log day 47: Formation of the Construct: the bottle fell off of a table and began absorbing sand, creating some slightly humanoid form. these sparks began crackling more frequently and it spoke to me. "Where is he?" it requested. We asked it who, to which it responded: "The wretch known as Xerath, he is why you are here in the first place graverobbing." I asked him of his name: to which he responded "Zemst"

Researcher's log day 48: Zemst's departure: That odd construct left early in the morning, leaving naught but some notes written in the ancient Shuriman language. this may make my discovery more valuable, heading back in two days seems the best option.

Friends: Gangplank, Azir Rivals: Xerath

but wait, why is he friends with Gangplank? You see, Zemst actually tends to a large Orange grove on his spare time.

Stats & Increases (in these stats.)

Durability(like health): 800(+50 per level) Durability Regen: 0 (+0 per level) Mana: 341(+41.5 per level)
Mana Regen(per 5): 5(+.85 per level) AD: 61.2(+3.73 per level)
Armor: 34(+2.8284 per level) Attack speed: .6969(+1.5% per level)
Magic resist: 30(+1.41 per level)

Abilities

  • His passive: Living Glass: Zemst has no health, and cannot build health, instead he has durability, which shows up as gray, in the Health bar. As Zemst's durability decreases, his appearance changes, because the glass that makes up his body begins to crack, shatter off, and start orbiting around his core, which is Lightning. Zemst gains 3 AD for every 50 Durability missing. along with a 10% bonus to total AD when under 40% durability and with this all his abilities change. Whenever Zemst is below 20% Durability, he will gain 20% lifesteal and spellvamp, which will last for 10 seconds, or until he is above 50% durability, (120 second cooldown)

  • His Q: Fists Of Glass/Vacuum Tube Fists Of glass: Cost: 50 Mana, 5% Durability Passive: Zemst deals 2/2.5/3/3.5/4% more damage, but recieves 1/1.5/2/2.5/3% more damage Active: Zemst Fires one of his hands as a Projectile (Specifically as a Linear skillshot), dealing 80/100/120/140/160+(50% AD)+(40% AP) Damage. Zemst Can cast this again within 5 seconds at no mana cost, but will disarm himself for 2 seconds, as he has no hands to attack with. 12 Vacuum Tube: Cost: 80 mana Zemst Pulls pulls all units within a cone 700 units closer to him, also dealing 70/90/110/130/140+(110% Bonus AD)+(40% AP) damage. The Pull's distance is divided by the number of enemy targets (Including minions and monsters) within the pull area.

  • His W: Throwing Shards/ Glass whirlwind Throwing Shards is a Toggled ability where Zemst will gain 450 range and his auto-attacks will deal bonus damage, but will drain 10 durability and 10 mana per attack. Glass whirlwind is an AOE ability, where Zemst spins, and has a 10% chance of saying "wheeee!" while spinning (yes. seriously.) dealing 150/180/210/240/280+(120% bonus AD)+(60% AP). Cost: 90/95/95/95/95 mana, on a 10/9/8.5/8/7.5 second cooldown

  • His E: Field of shards/Shocking grasp Field of Shards: Cost, 5% durability, 50 mana, 18/17/16/15/14 second cooldown Zemst lays down a Circle of shards of glass that lasts for 6 seconds dealing 60/70/80/90+(20% AP) damage per second. Enemies with boosts to speed take 50% increased damage, enemies with slows recieve 75% damage Shocking Grasp: Zemst fires lightning at the target, dealing damage and stunning the target for a short duration. Cost 90 mana Damage: 140/180/220/260/300+(80% AP) Stun duration: .5/1/1.5/1.5/1.5 seconds

  • His Ult (R) Glass Cannon/Glass imprisonment Glass Cannon: Zemst gains huge range, and can cast the ability on a target location in the range, firing himself to the location, dealing massive damage when he lands range: Really, really far. Damage: 400/500/600+(120% Bonus AD)+(100.5% AP) Glass imprisonment: Zemst Locks his target in a very close-fitted prison of glass dealing heavy damage over a few seconds and stunning the target, but also shielding them and increasing their armor+MR, this can be cast on allies to give the shield and armor+Magic resist Damage: 500/600/700+(40% AP) magic damage over 6 seconds. The damage ignores the shield and MR Shield: 100/120/160+(60% AP), lasting for 8 seconds MR+Armor bonuses 60/80/100 bonus MR and armor.

EDIT: Forgot his Skin Idea, mostly just a recolor, but Zesty Zesst, as a joke about his name, makes his lightning in the glass orange, and leaves behind little oranges in place of the glass, basically, makes Zemst an Orange salesman

Anyway, that was Zemst, I have no Art for him though, if anyone who reads this has ideas, I wanna see the art. Other stuff to suggest? just mail me at: [email protected]
