Story from the Chi's point of view: They removed us from our home, they took our freedom, they took our free will, they hindered our purpose, seeking our power, to use it against its function, to kill. We could not escape for there’s a limit to our being. Unlike most creatures we lack full interaction to this world, we cannot move there’s no hope in leaving. Immobile without the link of a calling entity, an empty vessel for a new identity. For although we feed on energy, although we contain great power, alone we can only give a start to a new body. Once we are united with the physical, we can react, using that body to wage our planning attack. We tried shutting down their power as they once held us in electrically changed cells, giving us free access to their electrical wells. However they learned quickly and now they enclose us in an inert tank, our hopes dwindling inevitably. Why not take the greedy being’s body? We are truly like a soul, however the soul is a tricky thing, it’s power and energy is beyond ours, it will never let us in. Thought it was almost an eternity, one day our salvation was brought to us, a way out essentially. The Noxians experimented on others here, many things taken, stolen, plundered from everywhere. That fateful day they brought in a calling force, an empty vessel of course. Many bodies from the bloodshed they carried outside, corpses galore, we couldn’t decide. There was one however, a small stature a short creature. We could tell it’s entity before was weak, a tiny being, a feeble physique. Our power could make it strong, breathe new life, become its soul, that’s where we belong. The link was made instantly, pulling us out of our prison. We took our first breath, our new body has risen. The noxians were astonished, they could not believe their eyes, I could tell they wanted to attack but they could not make sense of it. The tables have turned, the slate, the playing field has equalized. Now with this new body we could accomplish our vengeance, free at last. It’s now our time to take as we made quick use of the moment, sucking the life energy out of every last one of them. For years we have been seen as weak, as a mistaken possession, tiny and meek. We departed that retched place, as we left behind a reminder of our true power. A swarm within us rages on, the noxians will regret their greed as each and every one of them we will devour.

--------------------- Abilities --------------------- Passive http://i.imgur.com/Mx1pOhr.png Decomposition: Any enemy unit that takes damage from Chi's abilities are 'cursed' with a weakening energized aura. Although the effects of the aura initially does no damage, it decomposing the soul of the affected target (not felt in game), allowing Chi to harvest the energy from it's body. Thus any unit with this mark that is killed, Chi harvests their energy into stacks (max stack is 10). Each enemy killed grants 1 stack. These stacks can be consumed by Chi, granting them bonus damage: 1-3stacks= +10 magic damage 4-6stacks= +25 magic damage 7-10stacks= +50 magic damage Q,W and E only can get bonus damage from the first as they only consume 1 stack each. R consumes all stacks so is granted bonus damage from one of the 3 stated above. Stacks are lost upon death.

Q http://i.imgur.com/BayDnlh.png Spurt: (targeted) Chi spits a volt of a swarm at a target location, bouncing through 3 enemies, dealing reduced magic damage to each unit and stunning the first target. This ability consumed 1 stack applying bonus damage only if there are more than 1 stack.

W http://i.imgur.com/223pGv9.png Polarized Projection: (direction casting) (toggle) Chi summons an energized projection of their host's body forward to a fixed distance, dealing magic damage to any units it collides with. In this state Chi can use basic attacks only in the range (to get additional range). This lasts a total of 4 seconds but can be toggled on an off at anytime sending the energized projection back to Chi's host body, dealing additional magic damage on it's way back, similar to ahri's Q. The downside to this ability is that the host body remains stunned for the duration of the projection, being vulnerable to attack. This can be used as an advantage to the attacker by dodging the projection and attacking the body. However this ability can be combo with Chi's E to shield the body while the projection is out. This ability consumed 1 stack applying bonus damage only if there are more than 1 stack.

E http://i.imgur.com/ikBaQJR.png Static Shell: (area of effect) Chi summons a swarm of polarized entities around the host body for 3 seconds, shielding against incoming damage. The shield is unstable and quickly erupts after 3 seconds dealing 10% of the damage absorbed as magic damage. This ability consumed 1 stack applying bonus damage only if there are more than 1 stack.

R http://i.imgur.com/HyPlRGK.png Asterial Combustion: (area of effect) Chi consumes all available energy stacks to safely exit the host body and surrounding it in a floating swarm. The host's body is dropped thus Chi becomes invincible for 3 seconds, just like Elise's spider jump thingy. After 3 seconds Chi reenters the host body in a rapid burst of energy releasing the consumed energy in a charged explosion dealing magic damage to any enemy target in range + bonus damage from the consumed stacks. All stacks are lost when using this ability. (this can be used as a defense or an initializer in team fights, keep in mind the host body stays and cannot be moved until chi reenters it, thus plans can be made by attackers example placing traps near the body so there is no escape when Chi returns. Remember however that you will take damage once in range of the body.)

Details: Chi are a multi unit organism that has gain sentience as a result of the rune wars in the plagued jungles just as Wukong. However rather than arising from animals, the Chi evolved from bacteria corrupted by rune magic. They were granted great power, being re-birthed with great energy. Unlike their bacterium relatives rather then being decomposers they made better use of the corpses of others, to do things they could not normally do. Granting them the ability to be mobile to traverse the jungles in search of more energy to feed and grow on. They usually seek the weaker (prey); seems using them is more efficient, less energy to control the body, and attracting more powerful vessels to consume (predators). There are stories of some who hear of such creatures in the jungles, they spoke in whispers, multivoiced and rhymed.

Based on the abilities I would say Chi would be an assassin mage, able to go in to fights dealing damage and exit battle as quick as it started. Their personality could be multivoiced entity that always speaks in plural person (we, us) also always rhyming in it's conversations and taunts.
