Factions—A community site for organizing faction versus faction matches, like Noxus versus Ionia

Factions is a community game mode and lore initiative. The basic idea is similar to Riot's original "Noxus versus Ionia" tournament back in the day. Now that we have more Champions than they did, though, we can actually create faction-specific rosters using Champions affiliated with each faction.

The current arc is between four factions: Bilgewater and the Freljord seek to use a recently discovered Nexus to tap into the natural world, whilst Icathia (The Void) and Bandle City seek to use the Nexus's powers to acess the alien stars.

There are some handwaves for the sake of playability.

We're also hosting 'Factions Friday' from 5PM PST. This is a chance for new players to experience Factions matches and really get to know theur factions.
