Xeel, the Darkin Void Mage (Reforging)
Ok, so when I first posted this I didn't get any feed back. I know it is quite the long read but I really hope to fix it up. I feel it may be too complicated and needs some simplification. Any suggestions? (The ability values are really rough and would need a ton of adjustment).
Xeel, one of the remaining five darkins in Runeterra has come out of the shadows of Icathia to claim the Souls of the champions on the Fields of Justice.
Xeel is a jack of all trades and very adaptible to any situation. Using a total of four stances to issue out quick combos and escape. Sword for close range fighting, Staff for defending, Lance for bursting, and Mage Book for setting up kills. A total of 9 different spells.
> Soul charge sytem- It is in place of mana, charges held: 3/4/5/6 (lvls 1/6/11/16). Charges do not generate and are lost on death. Only way to gain them is to damage a target(including self when healing an ally) with your Q.
> Passive- Soul Crystal: Xeel gains stacks that modify his stats depending on his stance(Stacks gained by Q: +3 for minion kills, +6 for large monster kills, +6 for champ kills, +2 for damage champ/self) Sword: 1 HP every stack Staff: 0.01% mana regen every stack Lance: 0.075% spell vamp every stack Book: 0.2AP
> Q - Soul Stab: Xeel Summons a arcane spike out of the rift to damage target and charge his soul crystal.(Skillshot like Ryze Q) (Is the Q for each stance and forced starting ability) Deal damage to target 40/80/120/160/200 (0.4AP)(0.2AD)(applies on hit affects -=- Heal target, take 10% of current health to heal for equal amount + (0.2AP)max heal from ap 200/300/400/500/600 Will give one charge and/or stacks if condition met(see passive). No Cost - Cooldown: 10/8/6/4/3
>R- Void Armory: Switch Weapon Sword->Staff->Lance->Book Upon leveling choose one weapon to gain use of, at start of game choose one with 1 level in R. Auto Attacks scale differently depending on weapon. Sword: 1.0 AD physical Staff: 0.1 Current Mana magical Lance: 0.01 Max Health + 0.1 Health Missing physical Book: 0.4AP magical Soul charge - 1 -=- No Cooldown -=- No Bonuses
> Sword Stance . W- Sword Dash Xeel Throws his blade in a straight line; if it hits a target, Xeel instantly teleports to location dealing damage to target. If it hits a wall, Xeel teleports to his sword. [Collideable] Damage dealt: 20/60/100/150 (0.2 AP) magic damage Soul Charge - 1 -=- Cooldown: 12/10/8/6/4
E- Empowered Strike Xeel Charges the arcane blade with a soul, and fears the target when struck. Damage dealt: 70/110/160/230/300 (0.6AP)(5%max Health) magic damage -=- Fear length: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0 Soul Charge- 3 -=- Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13
>Staff . W- Void Bubble Xeel puts down a bubble made out of void energy that blocks only champion abilities(auto attacks and turret shots go through) and heals champions under it for the amount of damge the ability does. Amount of abilities blocked: 1/1/1/1/1 -=- Time up: 1/2/3/4/5 Soul Charge- 3 -=- Cooldown: 22/21/20/19/18
E- Void sigil Xeel marks the ground with unstable void energy that when stepped on, curses target with fog(graves smokescreen) and a timed magic explosion when curse dissapears, gives sight on cursed champ. Damage dealt: 1%/2%/3%/4%/5% (+ (0.05AP)%) max health -=- Fog length: 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 -=- Trap lasts for 90 seconds Soul Charge- 1 -=- Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9
>Rift lance Stance . W- Void spear Xeel Summons spear out of the void throwing it straight out in a line through targets. Damage dealt: 50/100/150/200/250 (0.7AP) magic damage Soul Charge- 1 -=- Cooldown: 12/10/8/6/4
E- Void Jump Xeel falls into void below him and jumps out at target location dealing damage and slowing target for 2 seconds. 80/120/160/200/240 (0.8AP) magic damage -=- Slow: 20% Soul Charge- 2 -=- Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13
>Book Stance . W- Upheaval: Xeel ruptures the ground in front of him in a line with void. Damage Dealt: 50/100/150/200/250 (0.6AP) magic damage Soul Charge- 1 -=- Cooldown: 12/10/8/6/4
E- Void Wind: Xeel summons wind from the Void to cause swift movements, relocating allies out of the way of danger, and interrupting enemies. A Click and Drag ability with a small travel distance yet long range, pushes anything into the direction the wind moves, enemy is stunned if pushed into a wall. 0 damage if hit, impact damage(ran into wall) 40/80/120/160/200 (0.7AP) magic damage -=- stun: 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5 Soul Charge- 2 -=- Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13
Lore (Currently being thought up: Lets just say, Icathia + Void + Darkin + Betrayal)
Weakness Xeel, yet strong and bursty with one main getaway and some cc, is a sitting duck after a combo. Using up his charges will only allow him to use his Q, and that is when it is up. Best time to strike is when he has no charges. Abuse him early game due to low farming capability if he is not in sword form. Watch his build and build accordingly to it. If he is running straight AD he will have a hard time damaging you in any other form other than the sword, though watch out for the Q since it has a chance to crit, but has low ad scaling.
Note from Creator Looking at him, he looks extremely overpowered until you look at his Soul charge system, at max you can string together maybe 5 spells and no more(includes two usages of soul stab). His ablities are very single target focused but if used correctly and can control the field completely. I am open to suggestions for tweaking and hope to add more designs for him in the future. This is a complicated champion, but I think he could make competitive play all that more interesting. Currently trying to make a more focused champion instead of a champ that is capable of being an adc or mage or support.
