A possible amumu rework
A friend and I were looking at champs nobody ever plays and came across Amumu. We started thinking how you could possibly rework him that would fit his theme of being a sad lonely mummy. We then came up with this where we kept the cc of amumu, but added more utility to him and probably nerf his damage so that hes more of a support tank jungler.
Passive: Curse of the Sad Mummy; When near an allied champion Amumu redirects 10% of damage taken from all nearby allied champions to himself. Every 5s the damage redirected gets reduced to 10/8/6/4/2/0/-10/-20/-30% (800 Range, stacks decaying every 5s whilst ally is out of range). (-10/-20/-30% means amumu gains 10%/20%/30% of the damage the ally gets, but doesnt redirect it, essentially just hurting amumu).
We chose for it to go negative because it makes it so that support amumu wont really become a thing and it kinda fits his theme of never finding friends.
Q: Bandage Toss - Amumu throws a bandage at a target in front of him snaring and damaging the target while dragging himself to them. Snare duration is shorter the nearer he is to the enemy. [Optional: Applies Cursed Touch; Amumu curses enemy champion causing them to take 10% bonus true damage from any magic damage dealt to them]
This is basically old amumu Q but it scales with range so that it isnt a free stun at close range and really is used as a gap closer, It could apply old amumu passive if amumu is really lacking in damage.
W: Stay with me friend: Snares all enemies (1/1.125/1.25/1.375/1.5) in small area around him (200/225/250/275/300 range), dealing (80/100/120/140/160). [Range or duration should increase with level, not sure which].
This is basically a mini version of the old amumu ult. You could add the option to either scale the range or the duration so that you can choose which you like more or do a 4/1 split or something like that.
E: Wail: Amumu cries out in a cone in front of him (400 range), damaging (70/100/130/160/200) enemies and causing all minions and non-epic monsters to be feared for 1s. Amumu gains flat Armour and Magic Resist (10/20/30/40/50), plus (2/4/6/8/10%) bonus total Armour and Magic Resist for each enemy Champion hit for 2s.
This would be amumu's clearing tool for the jungle/damage for ganking.
R: Returning Friends; After 1s a wall of mummies emerges in an arc in front of Amumu (1000 range) [Size of Azir ult]. Rank 1; Amumu Summons a Wall of Mummies Rank 2) The Mummies now slow enemy Heroes in the area around them Increasing towards the centre of the wall Rank 3) The slow percentage is increased and has Miasma effect.
We envisioned the ult to be the way to stop enemies from disengaging in a team fight by blocking of their escape. it kinda has the shape of miasma, as in, it is curved. With more mummies near the centre of it.
