Spectating only one of the teams

I have a lot of people i know playing league at the moment, and love the game for how we have something to share and can always feel connected even when in game. However, sometimes while waiting for someone who is currently in game, i like to spectate them and see how they are getting better etc. The 3 minute delay is quite the bummer i have to say. We have to wait for each other a little longer and we can't talk about the game during that time. I know the delay is very necessary, but why not make it so that we can only see the team my friend is playing in, and the rest is fog of war. That way its just like screensharing but with better performance and more freedom to look at macro. I still don't get why this isn't a thing, but if someone knows why ... please tell me. I think Riot should really consider this
