Kalleux, the Crystal Nightmare

Kalleux is a mage who controls arcane magics through "dark" crystals, ancient power structures that have seen the dark of the land and have been corrupted. Kalleux isn't so much a "human" as he is the essence of one, using his crystals to change the nature of his own existence and to extinguish enemies in might power. ................................................................... Overview:

Kalleux is a ranged Mage class champion whose abilities rely on the use of crystal structures in lane. He is best suited as a solo laner, as he is relatively tanky and has great lane control, allowing him to farm creeps and keep safe. Due to his relative tankiness, his AP ratios are not particularity high for a mage, but with great CC and zone control, he'll be able to farm and take out enemy champions with smart moves and patience. .................................................................... Abilities:

(Passive) -Energized Crystals - When Kalleux hits an enemy champion with an ability, he gains a 25% AP increase buff for 5 seconds. Buff renews on spell hit for max 3 stacks.

(Q )- Crystal Cannon Cost: 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 Cooldown: 10 Range: 775

Kalleux uses his structures to fire a beam of dark energy at opposing enemies, damaging them for 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+35% AP).

(W) - Crystal Towers Cost: 75 / 95 / 115 / 135 / 155 Cooldown: 8 Range: 350

Passive - Kalleux abilities refund 4% of mana spent. Active - Kalleux places a Crystal Tower at target location, damaging enemies for 55 / 75 / 95 / 115 / 135 (+20% AP). Crystal Tower cannot be targeted by enemies but only lasts 20 seconds. Kalleux uses structures for abilities and auto attacks. Max 3 structures.

(E) - Darkness Wave Cost: 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 Cooldown: 13 Range: 550

Kalleux sends out a dark energy shock-wave from his Crystal Towers, damaging enemies for 45 / 65 / 85 / 105 / 125 (+25% AP) and slowing enemies by 15% for 0.5 seconds.

(R) - Oblivion Cost: 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 Cooldown: 150 / 130 / 110 / 90 / 70 Range: 1400

Kalleux uproots his Crystal Towers and launches them in target direction, damaging enemies hit by 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 / 350 (+25% AP) per tower hit and slows enemies at max range by 15% for 0.5 seconds.

............................................................................................. Abilities Overview:

Kalleux will follow a structure similar to Azir, in the fact that his Crystal Towers will do most of the fighting for him, only they can't move like Azir's Sand Soldiers can, meaning the placement of them will be pivotal in winning your lane and bullying enemies.

The Crystal Towers will be used to send out the abilities that Kalleux has. His Q, Crystal Cannon, is just a straight shot ability, not technically a skill-shot in the sense because his Q can go THROUGH minion waves and hit enemy champions. Think Ez's Essence Flux ability.

His W is the spell that builds the structure. The Crystal Towers will be small, about the same size as Azir Sand Soldiers, and will do auto attacks on enemies you attack as well as cast your abilities from them.

His E is his better area of control spell, dealing an AOE damage and slow. Works best as a buffer to enemies and a team fighting slow.

His ultimate relates in a way to Syndra, as her ult bases power off how many orbs are also on the ma. This is similiar in that, the more crystal towers you have up, the more damage you can do. The ability passes through enemies until it hits the end of the spell length, where it does a mild AOE slow.

............................................................................................. Quick Thoughts:

Since his W is where his power lies, using it to harass enemies by placing them in tight areas to control the lane is pivotal. His Q and E will use ANY AVAILABLE TOWERS, meaning you can launch your Q cannon from two or three directions, depending on where you place the towers, and you can have a wider area of AOE damage and slow as well. The key is placement.

His build should be AP/CDR/MANA items, such as Morellos, RoA, Deathcap, etc. Getting max CDR will ensure a steady stream of towers to place.
