Levia, the Baccai Ascendant

This story begins after Azir was betrayed by Xerath during his Ascension Ritual. In an effort to lock Xerath away permanently, Renekton sacrificed his freedom taking Xerath with him into the Tomb of Emperors, to then be sealed by Nasus.

“I wasn’t sure where I was.. at first” said a deep voice coming from a large silhouette outlined by the light of the half moon above and the sounds of thick rope moving over rock surface followed each pause of the powerful resonating voice.

“It was only by the arcane flashes I was able to tell I was lying next to my father's bones. I was at rest too, until the blue one woke me from his carelessness.” he said as squirming and struggling noises coming from a man laying on a flat rock surface beneath the large silhouette of a man telling his story.

“They were too busy with each other to notice my gaze. They fought like children for ages, then finally the croc went mad and started tearing the place apart. That’s when you came.” he said light hartedly, as if the restrained man did him a favor.

“That stench, I could feel it. Your fear, I could taste it, and I could see it. And you, I saw you… then I saw myself there..and finally I was there, too.” After his last word the sound of thick knot being tied cued the silence.

“I was supposed to be with the Ascended. But the last thing I remember was the terrified look of the priests performing my ritual. I must have failed. They must have thrown me away in a tomb to rot, and to be forgotten.” There was a long pause after this, as if the large man was waiting for a response.

He continued, “But you… You will be the first of many to remind them… I, Levia, Emperor of Shurima, abandoned by those I trusted never to leave me, betrayed by my most loyal allies! THE HERETICS! … forgotten by my family...” He went quiet again for a moment after mention of his family.

And then as loud as a thousand thundering skies he screamed, “THEY WILL ATONE!” The entire area where the two were was lit up by a blue bolt of lightning that raged down from the sky above striking the helpless figure tethered to the rock surface.

Blue arcane energy began to flow from the extremities of the stranger that lay dead now on the rock altar, while the large man stood in a euphoric pose raising his head slowly, with a slight grin of satisfaction as arcane energy was flowing through the atmospheric medium to his hands outstretched. His face now illuminated from the blue glow of the arcane energy, he said in a menacing tone “I am more than their Emperor now... I am their god”

All was dark again.

Explanation: Xerath and Renekton fighting in the Tomb of Emperors caused the failed Ascendant, first Baccai, Levia to awake, and also finished the job of Ascending his powers. Feeling the fear of an lone explorer, Levia was able to transport himself from the tomb where he lay, to the explorers location. Everything else was instinct, as he now feeds from the arcane energy within all living things. He will remind the world who he was, and introduce them to who he has become.

KIT

#P: Dread

P: Dread | Dread Zone Radius: 200

A Dread Zone is formed around an enemy damaged by Levia. The Dread Zone will move and remain with each enemy for 1 second plus an additional second for each time Levia damages them, stacking up to 5 times. Dread Zone duration from item effects and active damage is reduced by 50%. Dread Zones grant Levia isolated target vision.

A Dread Bolt, called by Levia’s abilities, deals ( 25-85 + 25% of AD + 45% of AP ) targeted magic damage to an enemy that hosts a Dread Zone . The Dread Bolt strike causes an Arcane Discharge throughout the Dread Zone dealing (10-50 +25% of AD + 45% of AP ) magic damage to all other enemies within. Levia siphons arcane energy from enemies stricken by Dread Bolts.

Energy Siphon - 25 per minion, 35 per large minion, 50 per large monster and champion

If a Heretic falls below 6% of their max health, the Dread Bolt strike will activate early and execute the Heretic.

tell the truth i dont see how this is a melee champ i guess the kit has support for one but in your champ outline i was reading mage or adc key reason you gave no visual fro the basic attack. also this kit is lack luster u have your passive which is nice, original, bringing the first issue of how it is used. if this is a melee champ then the dread zone is mainly to run. right? but am kinda seeing a rotation here ....... r auto run out/ distance =blind then e w auto.....????? ok i lost it heres my take change the q to a skill shot that creates the dread zone then you can have the e to enter and land the autos and w and then if they run use the r but still this does not confirm a kill, also might as well let the r go over walls since she can already go anywhere,(this might not be allowed as a regular ability thou). Its a nice take on an assassin but i dont really see it tieing into shurima. like i said the kit is missing something maybe survivability, maybe more cc but its just missing that 1 small piece to bring it together. if you had a look at my gallery i hope it helped with developing your characters, cuz i like this one.

I like the concept, the lore is really interesting, and the Dread Zone mechanic is kind of awesome. One thing I'm curious about is how Levia's supposed to be a melee assassin. He has a lot of mobility and self-utility, with his E being able to basically take him anywhere and his R potentially sneak-Dread-Zoning the entire enemy team, but his Q and W honestly don't do much damage. Assuming he has 400 AP and 400 AD, which is actually kind of a lot, and he does the full 85, he'd still only do 365 damage with each Dread Bolt, and even with 45% CDR that's only gonna happen every six and a half seconds. Even if you do manage to apply the Dread Zones to the entire enemy team with his R and all of them are hit by R's Dread Bolt followed up by a Q, that's 730 damage which wouldn't even one shot a level 6 mini Gnar without any items (although it will come close) and he has the second lowest base health in the game. And that's with 400 AP and 400 AD, which is not something anyone's gonna have at level 6. XD I get the idea behind his abilities, and they work very well stylistically together and for his concept, but with that little damage I'm not too sure how he'd be assassin-y in any way. Honestly I would just up the damage on Dread Bolt a bit. 'Cause you're right, it is a strong kit and, used right, could be ridiculous to deal with as an enemy of Levia. Only problem I see now is that he just doesn't have the damage output. He already doesn't have any CC or utility, he seems relatively squishy (or at least not tanky), and his damage is... fairly blasé. But again, the concept is fantastic. I would literally just change some of the damage or maybe AD or AP ratios so he has a chance of doing damage. All in all it's a cool concept that I can definitely get behind. :D
