Chat History

Is it possible to have an option in the Alpha client in which we are able to have chat history never being saved. In skype we are able to have the choice of keeping our chat history for X amount of days or forever. Another option in Skype is never keep history (which is what I use). Is it possible to have this same feature in the client?
