A namelss man limped along, broken and beaten. Tired eyes darted around beneath his tattered hood, searching endlessly for the shadows stalking the edge of vision. Relentlessly their fingers grasped his beaten soul; pulling him onward. Breath rattled in his chest, yet still the whispers battered his mind, enticing him, coaxing with their ever increasing stories of glory and honor. "I'll give you the will to survive, the power to rise, the strength kill." "I can't..." ""You will." His eyes clouded, visions of battles untold berated his mind. Shadows, Blood and Fire. "Freedom..."
Born in the sands of a once ancient civilazation it is said the demi-god, Kane, was sent to protect the great empire of Shurima. A stalwart champion, endlessly wary of the ever growing shadows in the far reaches of Runeterra. He had heard rumors of a great necromancer raising an army of undead minions for his bidding, an army great enough to destroy Shurima.
"I must destroy this necromancer before he is to powerful, or i fear I will not be enough to hold back the tides of darkness." Kane set his course. His sword, Firebringer, guiding his rightous path to glory and victory.
Kane arrived on the shores of what he assumed to be the shadow isles. A great black mist enveloped him, calling to him, enging him onwards. "Lossssse yoursssselllf, Come with ussssss." Voices calling him onwards, but kane was strong, he shook him head of the clouded thoughts and trudged onwards of his own accord. He felt a darkness present; somthing more then darkness. Death.
"Another to join my ranks I see." Stated Karthus. "The darkness has long awaited this one."
"You will perish to my sword!" Kanes sword, Firebringer, burst into flame as Kane enraged, growing with immense strength.
Karthus shook his head and began his lament.
A Great battle ensued, fire and shadow, blood and death. Kane dashed forward suddenly and plunged his sword deep into Karthus. "You are no longer" He grimaced through broken bones and gritted teeth, removing his sword from the necromancer. "I am death" Karthus replied simply, and great force of spirit energy crashed down upon Kane coursing though his body, ripping his soul from physcal being and imprisoning him within Firebringer. Karthus's lement echoing within the confines of Kanes new reality.
Kane will was strong, his mind still intact pushed his lifeforce outward trying feverishly to break from his prison; but, to no avail. He had given up trying to escape his prison hundreds of years ago now anyways. The endless lament berating his mind, his soul lost to all knowledge to rot. It was no use, He had succumbed to all sorts of madness. imprisoned within his own greatest acheivement.
The anger... The despair... Endless... He watched as the world burned; he watched as the land rumbled and tore the earth asunder. He was there, in a nameless place forgotten to time, when the world was reborn. An eternity he waited, reaching out for some soul, any soul whom he can bend to his will. "At lassst..." "Thirsty..." A fire burned. A need to kill. Blood.
Base stats: Health 600 - 2230 Attack damage 62 - 115 Health Regen. 9.2 - 25.00/5sec Attack Speed 0.66 Mana. N/A Armor 26 - 75 Mana Regen. N/A Magic Resist 32.1 - 53.4 Melee 175 Move Speed 350
Resource - Rage - Kane has no mana, instead Kane gains 1 rage for each enemy champion or large monster hit by his basic attacks or abilities up to 10 rage. Rage decays 1 rage per 6 second when out of combat; each point of rage lost this way burns Kane for 2% of current health. (this dmg does not break backing, will not effect you below 5%hp, and does not enter you into combat)
Passive - Enrage - At 10 rage Kane immediatly enrages, augmenting his abilities, rage de/generation stops and Kane heals for (5% of health spent over the last 5 seconds) + 2.5% bonus hp/sec . Lasts 10 seconds. If Kane enrages, once he reaches 0 rage, Rage goes on a 20 second cooldown. (unaffected by cdr)
Passive - Blood Pact - Kanes Self-Healing increased by lvl1 - 2.5%/ Lvl 6 -5%/ Lvl 11 -7.5%/ lvl 18 - 10% only while in combat. Does not have effect while enraged.
E - Go For The Throat 6/10/14/18/22 health- Cooldown: 11/10.5/10/9.5/9 seconds Range 600 - Enraged - 750 Can only charge towards enemies Kane charges(dash) towards target enemy stopping at the first enemy hit and slices at their throat with his next auto attack dealing 10/35/60/90/125 +(20% attack damage)+(30% of bonus Attack Damage) bonus damage. 50% increased bonus damage if enemy is stunned or rooted. Functions as a normal auto attack for all purposes. **---**While enraged Kane charges with such force that he pushes minions aside ignoring their collision, max range is increased and 0.75 second stun on impact.
W - Wild Strikes 8/10/12/14/16 Health - 16/14/12/10/8 sec Cooldown - Range: 180 degrees, 300 range - attacks cursor direction. Kane strikes wildly in front of him, slicing left and then right in a wide arc (0.5 second per swing). Each strike slows all enemies hit by 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% for 1 second and Inflicts 30/60/90/120/150 (+30% Attack damage) damage. Kane is slowed by 20% for the duration of Wild Strike. **---**While enraged Kane swings with such force that all slow amounts are doubled(yes including his).
Q - Kane - Unbridled Wrath 10/13/16/19/22 - 30/39/48/57/66 Health - Cooldown: 8 seconds - Range - 500 - Skill shot. Kane charges his attack (0 - 2 second charge)(Max 4 second hold) (Kane cannot move while charging) and stabs straight forward in a line piercing all enemies for 15/40/65/95/120 (+25% attack damage)(+25% bonus attack damage) to 30/80/130/190/240 (+50% attack damage)(+75% bonus attack damage). -10% damage modifier for each subsequent enemy champion.
**---**While enraged, Unbridled Wrath has 20 lethality and Kane steals health equal to 25% of damage done by Unbridled Wrath. R - Ultimate - Onslaught 20 Health - Cooldown: 180/155/130
Active - Kane ferociously spawns a manifestation of his will, summoning an untargetable blood phantom which closely shadows Kane, mimicing all of Kanes abilities and auto attacks. The phantom does not do damage, but reduces his other basic ability cooldowns by 1 second for each enemy champion hit with any mimiced attack; it has health equal to 300/375/450 + 35% of Kanes Hp; aswell, 20% of damage done to Kane (after resistances) by enemy champions is done to the phantom instead. **---**During onslaught each time you use an ability its health cost is increased by 200% of base cost. Lasts 10/12/14 sec or until phantom dies.
Passive - Wildfire - While enraged basic abilities and auto attacks ignite enemies hit, burning them and causing bonus magic damage based on Kanes bonus health, 1%/2%/3% of bonus health every 1 second lasts 3 seconds and can stack 3 times. Stacks will leap and spread to nearby enemies (stacks will spread every 2 seconds to an enemy within 600 units(cannot have more then 3 stacks). (Example: Champion A has 3 stacks; 1 stack leaps to Champion B; Champion A has 2 stacks, Champion B has 1 stack)
Side notes - When Kane casts Onslaught, he explodes in blood and flame projecting his etherel form outward and forcing Enrage even if its on cooldown. If cast while already enraged Kane feels immense power and immediatly increases the duration of enrage by 50% of base duration, heals/increases phantom Health by 35%(of phantoms max), and scorches the ground in a cone infront of him which lasts 6 seconds applying wildfire to any enemy in contact every second. (enrage bonus healing happens again).
Skin Ideas: Original - A sickly looking frail man, tattered hood. Clothes ripped and torn. unnoticable. Sword, Large, sharp and long. Possibly bursting into flames. Other skin ideas: Very open, the idea is Kane is the Sentinent being within the sword, taken over the weaklings mind until he can harvest enough blood to become stronger. At this point he would be able to find a potentially more worthy host working his way up to the most worthy of being. Kings, queens, etc. So the skins could be quite different from either other. The iconic thing is the SWORD, so it has to be epic and big. The sword wouldn't change, but the body could :). So I guess after writing that, The sword is the champion, the human is the skin :)
, and when I saw the name I immediately thought of Vladimir, so the name is a bit misleading. Change the name into like "The Blood Flame", so that it fits the character a bit more. I also thought his weapon could be sort of fueled by his blood and rage so maybe his weapon, like a thin scythe (to increase blood loss), could be connected to him like
