Fighter / Mage Top/Jungle Melee Range

Master Roko is a melee caster, who specializes in the manipulation of rock and earth to bolster his offensive style and to render his enemies defenseless.

Lore: Orphaned as a young boy, Roko wandered through many of Ionia's cities, scrounging what he could just to survive. It was difficult for a child to make due with little to nothing to their name, but Roko managed for the better part of 10 years until he made the decision to leave the bustling cities and become a wanderer. His life on the road wasn't much better, but it came with the benefit of peacefulness, rarely available in the crowded streets. He soon found himself accustomed to the natural world and from then on sought out a life of solitude, avoiding contact with people, and finding solace in the mountains of Ionia. It was there that the magic called out to him. The mountains imbued the young Roko with the powers of earth and stone, granting him the ability to manipulate the earth, almost as if it was second nature to him. In his solitude he refined his newly discovered skills, until he himself was one with the earth.

Passive: One with the Earth - Every time Master Roko hits with an ability, he draws strength from the earth itself, healing himself for a small amount on cast and then regaining 15 energy the next time he damages an enemy champion with an ability.

[Heal: 3/5/7/9/11/13/15/17/19/21/23/25/27/29/31/33/35/37 + 10% Ability Power] [Energy Regen: Master Roko will have 6 seconds to damage an enemy champion for the Energy regeneration aspect of One with the Earth in the instance of Obsidian Shards or Earthen Shell being activated] [Cooldown: 20/16/12/8 seconds AFTER Roko either utilizes the Energy regeneration or the effect wears off. The Cooldown reduces at levels 6, 11, and 16]


Q: Obsidian Shards - 70/65/60/55/50 Energy - Summons 3 obsidian shards that hover around Master Roko for several seconds. The ability can be reactivated to kick one of the shards in a straight line, dealing damage to the first unit struck by the shard.

[Activated, Ammo-based Linear Skillshot [A bit wider than Mundo's Cleaver as of Patch 5.4]] [Magic Damage: 25/37/49/61/73 + 20%/22.5%/25%/27.5%/30% Ability Power + 20% Bonus Attack Damage] [Shards will hover for 8 seconds before unsummoning if they go unused.] [12 second cooldown AFTER the Shards have been used or they have been unsummoned] (Medium Range)


W: Earthen Shell - 70/60/50/40/30 Energy - Surrounds Master Roko in armor made of solid stone for a few seconds, causing his first attack to stun each new target and granting his auto attacks On-Hit Percent Health Magic Damage based on the ability's level and a small amount of flat magic damage based on Roko's Ability Power. (Percent Health Damage + Flat Damage)

[Auto Attack Augment] [Stun Duration: 0.5 seconds. Can only be applied ONCE to each target per use.] [Percent Health Magic Damage On-Hit: 3%/4%/5%/6%/7%] [Flat Magic Damage On-Hit: 10% Ability Power] [Buff lasts 10 seconds] [15/14/13/12/11 second Cooldown AFTER the buff has finished it's duration]


E: Quicksand Sweep - 100 Energy - Master Roko performs a leg sweep, sending out a large patch of quicksand in a cone. The field slows opponents and any enemies that stay in the field for 1.5 seconds become snared.

[Elliptical Skillshot - Will be aimed like Cho'Gath's Scream, , but throws out a wide oval patch of quicksand] [Slow: 25%/30%/35%/40%/45% and only applies within the field.] [Snare duration: 0.75/1/1.25/1.5/1.75 seconds] [Quicksand patch remains on the field for 2 seconds] [20 second cooldown, triggers immediately after casting] (Close Range, but very wide)


R: Landslide's Rush - No Cost - Master Roko rushes forward on a wave of earth, knocking up and damaging all opponents that he passes over.

[Wide Linear Skillshot - With hit-box width similar to Braum's Ultimate] [Knock Up Duration = 1 Second.] [Magic Damage: 150/200/250 + 70% AP ratio + 90% bonus AD ratio]
[120 -> 80 second cooldown, based on spell level] (Long Range)


**Pros: ** Fantastic anti-tank dueling potential Lots of crowd control Excellent ganks Great team fight utility Can activate Spellblade passives easily

Cons: Weak Until level 6 Only Gap closer is his Ultimate No Pass-Through skillshots or Easy poke Sustain is on a long Cooldown at early levels Easily kited


Recommended Level Up Order: R → W → Q → E Taking Q at level one R → Q → W → E If match-up isn't favorable at melee range

Recommended Combo Order: E → W → Q (use Q to proc Spellblade or to continue dealing damage while chasing or retreating) R → E (behind yourself, where the enemy is) → W → Q

The Classic AP Roko

**item 3282 ** - (Helps in preventing being Kited by the enemy) **item 3115 ** - (On-hit Magic Damage and Attack Speed will only improve Earthen Shell) **item 3091 ** - (Same reasoning as Nashor's Tooth, as well as providing good Magic Resistance) **item 3157 **- (Useful for the Armor and high Ability Power stats plus a life saving Active) **item 3100 ** - (An absolute must on AP Roko. Your Q will proc this 4 times) **item 3135 **- (Consistent Percent Health Magic Damage makes this item a must)

Or Hybrid

**item 3282 ** **item 3146 ** :D - (The funnest item of all! Keeps you alive to punch another day with all the Lifesteal and Spell Vamp you could want! - As an activated ability, Roko's Earthen Shell will proc Spell Vamp) **item 3078 ** - (Like a Lich Bane, but useful for making a Legend of Zelda cosplay) **item 3153 ** - (One of the best Attack Speed, On-hit items in the game) **item 3135 ** - (This is still an absolute must) **item 3026 ** - (You're lacking in Armor and Magic Resist with this build, so why not have both, with a life-saving passive to boot)


Master Roko's concept was developed because me and my friend were discussing Avatar: The Legend of Korra, and it occured to us that... 1.) Martial Arts champions are few and far between in the League, let alone unarmed ones. 2.) The element of Earth is extremely under represented in the League, with only Malphite and Azir to show for it.

And of course, I don't have the experience that Riot has with balancing abilities and kits, so all of the above is subject to change.

He seems a bit OP with that passive, not to mention 3 cc skills But that Q would be awesome if as they floated around him, the skillshot arrow spun around till he hit Q again, and they go in the direction the arrow was last pointing...

I know he's not supposed to be built with AP, but with a high AP build and his W active you can 2 shot literally anyone

10% AP is way too high for a ratio on a % health damage skill
