Jax story/theme revision concept

Currently, Jax's character is a cocky warrior with the strength to back it up. He was so powerful that both he and the league started restricting him. One of these restrictions was that Jax had to fight with a lamp post.

Yeah, that story is pretty good, but since the League is no longer cannon, it is meaningless. I have an idea for a new story (and theme) for our grandmaster at arms.

Lore Several years ago, the island nation of Ionia pushed back an assault by the much larger nation of Noxus. This feat was accomplished in a large part by the legendary warrior of Galrin, Jax, and his brother, a prodigal mage named Juln. The two were unstoppable on the battlefield, and inseparable off of it, until just before the last battle of the war, Juln was killed in his sleep by noxian assassins; the body left unrecognizable. With tears of rage in his eyes, Jax finished off the Noxians the very next day. After all of the dust had settled, the funerals been held, and the recovery begun, Jax could not let go of his brothers memory. Seeking the resurrection of his brother, Jax left Ionia, with his brothers favorite lantern in hand. He traveled across Valoran for years, but the only necromancers he could find resided in Noxus, where Jax was forbidden to enter. When he thought he could bear it no more, Jax finally reached a place where death was not so black and white; the Shadow Isles. After mere days of wandering, Jax was approached by an old man in a strange mask. The man knew of Jax, and what he was looking for, so he told Jax how to bring his brother life once more; "Simply don the mask" he said while producing an identical mask from his bag. Jax, desperate at this point, did as he said. There was a bright flash of light, a scream of agony, and then the silence and darkness that is the norm in the shadow isles took over once more. The old man did not lie; Juln was indeed brought back to life, but not fully, and at a steep price. Jax's once fearsome form had become a strange sight; a set of violet robes with a black mask where the face should be, the clothing occupied by a body of cold, azure flames. In his etherial hands, Jax held his brother's prized lantern, though it was now much more than a mere object. The orange flames of the mages soul burned brightly within it, and after what he had given up to achieve this, Jax would never let that flame go out again.

Basically, Jax and his brother, Juln, were two powerful Ionian warriors who, together, were the deciding factor of the Ionian-Noxian war. Unfortunately, Juln was assassinated just before the end of the war, and Jax just couldn't accept that. After the war Jax goes to the shadow isles to find a way to bring back his brother. He succeeded, but only partly. Jax himself was turned into a warrior flame spirit, and Juln was resurrected as a conscious magical entity trapped within his favorite lantern.

Now, there could also be aesthetic changes to accompany this (no actual balance changes, just changes to visuals, spell names, and spell descriptions)

Model Jax would have a texture update to accompany this. His hands and feet would become an ethereal blue flames, his lantern would glow as brightly as is shown in his splash, and he would leave behind trails of blue/orange flame wherever he went (similar to the dead-mans plate particles).

He looks good for an old champion, but our resident eggplant needs some love.

P: Relentless Assault Jax gains 4% - 14% bonus attack speed for 2.5 seconds every time he lands a basic attack, stacking up to 6 times (As Jax gains stacks, his flames begin to glow more brightly) Q: Leap Strike Jax leaps to a target unit, dealing 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 60% AP) (+ 100% bonus AD) physical damage if it is an enemy. (Pretty simple visuals. Jax jumps to a target) W: Empower Juln applies a temporary enchantment to his lantern, causing Jax's next basic attack to deal 40 / 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 (+ 60% AP) bonus magic damage. (Visually, Juln glows bright yellow until empower is used, and the target it is used on has a yellow "spirit" appear behind them when they are hit, similar to the effect from sated devourer) E: Etherial Form Jax negates his physical presence for up to 2 seconds, blocking all basic attacks and reducing damage taken by AOE damage effects by 25% for the duration. At the end of the duration, Jax bursts back into existence, dealing 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+ 50% bonus AD) physical damage to nearby enemies, stunning them for 1 second. This damage is increased by 20% for each attack dodged, up to 100%. (Visually, Jax's robes and Juln's lantern would disappear for the duration, leaving them as two orbs of flame for the duration) R: Spiritual Singularity Passive: Every third basic attack, Juln sends out a burst of energy, dealing 100 / 160 / 220 (+ 70% AP) bonus magic damage. (Visually, this would cause the target to be engulfed in a flash of orange light, which rapidly fades) Active: For the next 8 seconds, Jax and Juln combine their spirits, causing them to gain 30 / 50 / 70 (+ 50% bonus AD) armor and 30 / 50 / 70 (+ 20% AP) magic resistance. (Visually, this would cause the flames from Jax and Juln to become a brilliant white)

Oh, and new ability icons.
