Nocturne Origin Attempt [REPOST]
After hearing rumors and suggestions that Nocturne should be an Ionian champion and the main reason why Zed is Zed, I thought I could give a shot at making a lore for the Eternal Darkness himself. I don't know how I can get it going until I rewatched Samurai Jack and heard the news about its return. Soooooo... why not make Nocturne the Ionian version of Aku? Or we can make him more like the Ionian version of Freddy Krueger. Anyway, here we go!
Many years ago in the Island of Ionia, a great darkness has plagued upon its denizens' dreams. People were dying in their sleep, screaming and slithered until their bodies went limp. Those who manage to wake up from their nightmares dare not to sleep again. The survivors has described the figure as a formless deity of darkness, armed with a pair of Umbra Blades. They gave this unholy being of shadows a name, Nocturne. Although this creature has brought fear upon the minds of innocents, there are also a group of people that are willing to embrace its darkness. Only a handful of devoted monks gave in to Nocturne's eternal shroud and granted them knowledge, dark secrets that has granted them the skills of the shadow.
Once the Elders of Ionia discovered this, they've sent out their strongest monks to imprison the shadow warriors and their upbringing while they sought out a plan to bring Nocturne into the mortal plane and seal him away. After days of crafting and enchantments, they created a magical dreamcatcher, a trinket powerful enough to rob Nocturne out of the dreamer, however if they plan to bring the demon out, they need a volunteer, one that will confront Nocturne in their sleep. Many refused to risk their lives, but one day, a 
mysterious vagabond appeared and agreed to aid the Ionian Elders to pull out the malevolent spirit from its realm. Once laid to sleep after a few potent drinks, he encountered the shadowy familiar within his dream realm and stalled enough time for the dreamcatcher to ignite its spell. The enchanted item has pulled Nocturne out of the traveler's mind and brought him to the mortal plane. Now in his physical form, Nocturne is vulnerable. With no time to waste, the Elders has sealed the monstrous shadow into a runic box, where Nocturne and his forbidden secrets will forever spend its time, kept in the safe hands of the ancient Kinkou Order. The Elders wanted to thank the masked stranger for saving their homeland and its people and wished to offer a reward, but he mysteriously vanished. Not a single trace of him was left behind. Now the island of Ionia can breathe and sleep safely, with Nocturne's followers imprisoned, the age of nightmare is finally over.
Years past as Ionia grew, even evil has found new morsels to manipulate. A 
young Kinkou student has discovered the box within the temple. Even if it's just a slight peek, Nocturne's twisted wisdom has injected into the boy's mind with forbidden knowledge of the shadow. Now manipulating the ninja, he has grown an army and ruled the temple, tearing down the old ninja order of the Kinkou. With the box in possession of the Order of the Shadow, Zed now possessed the dark secrets Nocturne keeps. He has opened the box and released the malevolent being out of its imprisonment. Now free, Nocturne has granted Zed and his followers more of its power before vanishing. Although Nocturne is now residing in Runeterra in his physical state, he still hungers to engulf Ionia and all of Valoran in darkness. Now free from his long imprisonment, Nocturne now soars through the night, slaying anyone who he deems unworthy to the new Order. However, he must stay alert for one day, the mysterious stranger will come again and stop him.

Before the final blow was struck, I put him into a death-like sleep and flung his mind into the Nightmare Lands where his worst fears reign supreme! Now the fool seek to return to reality and undo the darkness that is Nocturne!
