Today I am going to present to you #Vis'Ona, with the many faces Not all things coming from the void are strong. Not all emotions in demacia are controlled. And as these two things collide, Vis'Ona feeds on the suppressed anger of a whole nation.

When try to imagining her, try to think of The black mask Ghost from Spirited away having a baby with Rek'Sai. It wasn't a love thing. They really really hated each other but still hat that child, which grew up in a divorce-like environment, where there never was a marriage but only yelling. Well... That's some depressing description. Oh, also lots of faces.


#The Stats

#The Kit Passive: Watching from afar

The area with Vis’Ona’s own vision - including her natural sight radius, the sight radii of her wards - is indicated. This vision radii grow with the highest number of "Self Doubt"-Stacks on an enemy champion. That is 5% for every stack. Additionally, every 18 seconds Vis'Ona's next basic auto attack against a champion will mark it for 3 seconds. All stacks placed on it will be doubled.

Q: Weave of Dread

Sends out a broad Wave in front of her, dealing 65/95/125/155/185 (+50%AP) damage. Works of Charges.

W: Clutch of the Heart

Passive: Whenever Vis'Ona hits with an ability, she applies stacks of “Self Doubt”. These decay over 4/4.25/4.5/4.75/5 seconds, but are refreshed when she hits with abilities or empowered attacks again. Enemies can gain a maximum of 5 stacks.

Active: All enemies with “Self Doubt”-Stacks within Vis’Ona's vision range (as indicated) take 12/24/36/48/60 magic damage per stack plus an additional (50%AP). In addition they get a status condition for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds based on how many stacks were burnt. Enemies are slowed by 20/30/40/50/60% when they have 1 to 2 stacks, rooted when they gathered 3 or 4 stacks and are stunned when they held 5 stacks upon activation.

  • Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Mana
  • Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

E: Not Themselfes

Places a shield for 3 seconds upon either herself or an allied champion. The shield blocks 70% damage of the next 3 instances of damage. When the shield breaks, the shielded champion will send out a Wave of Dread in the direction of his view. Hitting Weave of Dread on a shielded ally will extend its travel distance by 500 and increase the damage by 10/30/50/70/90.

  • Cost: 90 Mana
  • Cooldown: 14 seconds

R: Wear the Mask

A target champion starts emitting 3 waves per second in a circle around them for 3 seconds, dealing 30/42/55 (+4/6/8%AP) damage each, totaling in 270/378/540 (+36/54/72%AP) Damage. If it's an enemy champion, the champion itself will not be affected by the damage or the stacks. If that enemy is hit by a Wave of Dread, the next emitted wave will have it's radius increased by 150. If it is an allied champion, they have their movement speed increased by 20%. Each wave applies “Self Doubt”-Stacks as usual. The Champion extends Vis’Ona’s sight radius by their own.

Explanation Quite the immobile champion Vis'Ona relies on the mobility of her teammates or her enemies to spread uneasiness and seperate the enemy team. Originally intended for the support role, Vis'Ona works just fine in the midlane too, begause her time to shine is not the laning phase but mid game team fights. She is happy whenever the enemy clumps and she can send out some waves over her shielded front line. As she prefers to stay in the back she is quite fragile and hates assassins like every other carry/light support. Her range is good, yet her range is somewhat limited to her own vision range and to what extend she can hit her Q.


#The Story

##About Vis'Ona

Not all things that come from the void, arrive in Runeterra strong. Many little things have entered alongside the big Things from this twisted realm, but died the second after. Vis'Ona cannot remember when exactly she came to be. But she sure remembered one thing. Hunger. And as a small thing, Hunger is way more substantial. Vis'Ona stranded in Demacia. Hidden in the shades she looked for things to feed on. To survive on. And as she almost dried out, the deep and rich taste of anger, resentment and hate filled her organs and pulled her back from the brink. Following the scent she sat under the window sill of an old man, staring into the rainy night, frowning at nothing and everything. Vis'Ona could see the thick bubbles of suppressed, negative emotions, manipulated them, absorbed the strong vapor of murderous thoughts. This night Vis'Ona learned what she could feed on, and she would never forget it. Soon she began to grow. Hulky she became, and the twisted faces of wrath she took away from the ever content Demacians grow alongside her own into chalk white stills on her coal black body. After some time feeding wasn't just about surviving anymore. It was about fun. Subtly she manipulated people into their own despair and relished in their madness. It was her way of reminding people that there were limits to the anger one heart could hold.

##Short: In Disguise

"Now now, that is quite the situation we have here..." Neither the father nor the daughter spoke. A bit confused they looked around the room. "That flavor... Is it Disappointment I taste?" Slowly, out of the shadows, a big pale face came fourth. And then, behind it, a lot more. "Oh", the thing said, moving lips of porcelain, "Don't mind me. Mind her." Instead of telling the thing off, he hesitantly turned to his daughter again. "In fact, you mind her for quite some time, right? She comes after her mother after all... a wild rebel, that is." His Glance darted from his kin to the thing and back. The thing laughed a happy, bell-like laugh. "Don't you tell me I am wrong, I know I'm not" Finally his gaze fixated on his daughter again. His face shifted from "being caught" into a dark frown. His daughter retorted with the same. "She just cannot behave. Not in school, not in training, not even in punishment. You know, you'll never get that promotion with a girl like that as family." Slowly she stepped out of the shadow. Big insect like legs carried the thick, overlapping body rolls, on which the many masks of bone were shifting back and fourth. The girl looked at her with uneasiness, but her father's look didn't even move a tiny bit from her face. "Do you remember the time she roughed up that noble kid? For "Being a Brat"? When she was painting all over the great statues? When she was talking to this thieving scum in the streets?" His expression twisted with these bitter memories. The grip around the belt in his Hand tightened. "Even if you don't, the guards sure do. And since she is not out of age, all the blame is on you." The girl was visibly tense. She obviously didn't like the way this was going and was ready to move when they were. The father obviously took it as a sign of confession, and in turn growled something. "You had all the patience in the world. You taught her better. But against better judgement... She did it anyways. You even tried to slap some sense into her, but no... she wouldn't listen, she wouldn't behave. At this rate, she will get herself killed, like her mother did... Don't you think, it would be better to end it here?" For a moment, the father was dazzled. "Nobody must know it was you." For the first time he turned to the thing. In a wrinkled, steady hand laid her mask. Ready to be taken. "Put this on", the thing said, the lips moving on the mask. "All you do with the mask will be my doing, not yours. A terrible monster killed your sweet little daughter... What a tragic event" The daughter's eyes grew wide. Her glance darted between her father and the mask. "All your problems begin with her. And end with her as well. Come on." Faltering hands slowly moved toward the mask. "Wear the mask" The man gave his daughter one wary last look. "Wear the mask" His eyes rested upon the mask. "Wear the mask" With resolve, he extended his hand. But his daughter was faster. With lightning speed she grasped the thing and put it on her face. Her father screamed in anger and lunged at her with the belt in his hands. But his strikes did nothing to her. out of somewhere she pulled the kitchen knife and started slashing away. Behind her all the other masks laughed eerily. And the mask on her face smiled with every splash of blood.

Date: 12/08/17 Added Stats! Added Short Story! Tweaked numbers a bit! More Clarity! We are ready to roll for CCOS!

Date: 15/08/17 Big one, so listen up! Changed Passive from "Leaves mobile Ward in Bush" to the actual state. My Idea was so cool, Riot already wants to implement it :P Reduced Q charge cooldown from 14/12/10/8/6 to 10/9.25/8.5/6.75/6 and Q base damage from 65/100/135/170/205 to 65/95/125/155/185. Changed the maximum stacks for W form 6 to 5 and rearranged the status effects alongside it. Increased base damage per stack from 10/20/30/40/50 to 12/24/36/48/60. Fixed AP scaling. It was supposed to be on top of the total base damage all along. Increased Mana cost from 60/65/70/75/80 to 70/80/90/100/110. Decreased Cooldown from 20/18/16/14/12 to 16/15/14/13/12. Normalized E shield layers form (3 to 4) to 3. Removed adding Stacks to attackers. Added: When shield breaks will send out a Q from the shielded champ into its vision direction. Increased Mana cost from 80 at all levels to 90 at all ranks. Decreased Ult runtime from 3/4/5 seconds to 3 at all ranks. Increased Waves per second from 2 to 3. Implemented wave damage scaling from 50(+7%AP) at all ranks to 30/42/55 (+4/6/8%AP). With these changes the total values change from 300/400/500 (+42/56/70%AP) to 270/378/495 (+36/54/72%AP). Added wave range increase when hitting Q on an ulted enemy. Added Movement Speed buff for ulted allies.

Pros: Cool passive Incredibly cool interaction with the shield if you hit it with your Q - use your own teammates to snipe! Very good at posing a ramping threat Impressive AoE damage

Cons: Passive is so cool, Riot is already making a rune for that. Check out the Watchful Poro rune. Impossible to build up sufficient stacks on the W in an expedient way - might be an intended weakness, but your cooldowns are too long without your ult to get the full effect without having to wait over 10 seconds Shield punishes enemies for trying to break it Ult getting a duration boost instead of a damage boost actually makes leveling it nearly useless - enemies will most likely escape long before even the level 1 version ends

Suggestions:

Replace the passive. Not because it's bad, but because having a passive that duplicates an announced rune effect is redundant and means that a not-insignificant portion of your champion's power can be replicated with the right choice of rune. I'd recommend maybe an autoattack amp or something to help stack your W, because your Q can't stack it high enough by itself and your E shouldn't be stacking it as a counter to damage anyways. You can keep the original brush theme by empowering your basic attacks when you hop into brush, or you could have a timer, close to Ziggs' passive, where your empowered attack comes online every so often. Either way, it should be dealing bonus damage and applying a stack of Self-Doubt.

Remove the shield adding Self-Doubt to whoever hits it. It punishes people for basic gameplay, but it's also not an effective tool for your needs in a teamfight anyways, as multiple sources of damage could intersect and leave you with 1 stack spread amongst the team instead of one guy having 4, which is significantly less effective. Since you want to shield allies that are in a good spot to extend your Q range, I'd recommend having it fire pulses in the direction the target is facing every so often that add stacks of Self-Doubt. It builds synergy with front-liners and plays up the "deadly visage" theme.

Also recommend standardizing the amount of hits the E blocks. Probably keep it at 3. The difference between 3 and 4 is too sharp compared to the next closest thing in implementation, Yorick's W, which increments in HP on levels 3 and 5.

Keep the ult duration at 4 seconds and instead increase the damage dealt with level. Also make sure you slightly drop the level 1 damage to compensate. An enemy's first reaction is going to be to escape when ulted, and extending the duration doesn't help you stop that problem. It doesn't quite clarify if the target champion, if an enemy, also takes damage every tick - it might be better if they don't, to avoid a particularly powerful nuke that can't be dodged, but that'd leave you open in 1v1 situations. I guess that'll depend on what you want to do with your concept.

Quick CCOS tip: Review someone who's NOT in the CCOS and NOT Stacona to qualify for the Outreach Bonus. It works the same as the Good Neighbor Bonus, with the qualifier that instead of reviewing someone in the CCOS, you review someone NOT in the CCOS.

I have to make a special case for Stacona as he constantly deletes his concepts when they receive negative attention, so that'll erase your review and make it difficult for the judges to fairly judge your review.
