[Champion Concept] Gander- Gaiya's Last Hope

Short Lore Entry: Many have believed the great war of Runterra to be one of mere faction battle, yet none know that the real war was happening up above them. One of the mighty Gods, Gaiya founder of nature energy and rival of Nagakaborous was banished from the Collosium for act of treason amongst [insert lead god here]. He claimed that he had been framed but they would not reason so scattered himself across earth knowing what little power man had over Earth after they'd created them and hope to one day he'd surface again with the blessings of humanity and use Earth approval of him to prove his innocence to the other Gods and seek out his foe.

Over a millennium has passed and with Gayia's existence is nothing but a myth, a folklore for old geezer's to spook the village offspring. Though one day, a young blacksmith of Zaun with a company of seven, ventured into the caves of the Ironspike Mountains southeast of Zaun, to mine ore industrial uses. What they found was a green gemstone, glowing and fluctuating as if it were living energy. Leader of the expedition Ayon Ore inspected it meticulously and as he pulled it out from it's burial, the caves began to quake, rupturing and falling taking the lives of four of these miners.

The amongst the survivors were Ayon, he could not fathom what had happen at the mining site. The location was new to them but Ayon being a miner, blacksmith and climber of great feat for over a decade has never before experience something so bizarre. Their is something peculiar about that gemstone and he was determine to find out what, it's possibilities could be endless. The thought of the stone left him sleepless that night, and had strange dreams and words called out to him as if the gem was daunting him.

He left the stone home within one of his boots, for the other survivors did not he was able to retain the stone and he was not certain of it's rarity or when he'd ever get one again. He talked to his remaining crew about heading back out to mine the stone but they declined saying it was too dangerous. They weren't miner in their small village at the time, and no people brave enough to venture into the mountainside. He'd have to wait about a week for returning crew men that had set out on other expeditions, but he couldn't the stone called out to him over and over again intensifying with every chant possessing his mind.

He returned home and without a greeting to his wife and child he moved swiftly to his bedroom to look at the stone. Yet he could not find it. "Where is it!?!" he screamed, "Did you take it?" looking sulkily at his wife. She is great fear nodded and replied, "No". She then said, "Maybe it's Gander" he was playing in your room a moment ago. He moved quickly to Gander, "Gander, son, what did you do with daddy's emerald?" as if his six month old infant could reply to him, he grieved and upturn is whole home in search for that forsaken gem.

The next day after eating breakfast he kissed his wife and son goodbye as he always do before every expedition and set out in search of the stone by his lone self. This worried his wife Nayeide as she's never seen him so eager and impatient in search of anything thing. Later that day she noticed a change in her son's eyes, from light blue to dark emerald green almost instantaneously. This bothered her for a bit as she's never known a child's eye color to change on a whim, but gradually. Nayeide continued nursing her baby boy when he suddenly wailed out a passionate cry as if he'd fallen, this astounded her, little did she know that later that day she'd be given the dreadful news of Ayon's passing.

Overview: Gander is a hot-blooded and spirited brawler who uses Nature Energy of the Mythic God Gaiya, to imbue his attacks. He is a Hearty traveler and aspiring Master Blacksmith, because of this Gaiya's power manifest through his body in the form of energy weapons. He seeks to bring redemption to the God that liberated him, and carry on as his disciple.

(Passive) Gaiya's Vessel

(Melee): Every time you take [75 - 585] Based on level worth of damage to your health. You gain 10% of your max resistances for 5 seconds stacking 3 times. (Range): 3% Crit Damage for every 11% of your missing health and stacking. (capped at 15% Crit Damage when below 45% max hp).

(Q) Gaiya's Wrath [1 second charge]

Swords: Gander Cleaves in an area around him pulling targets in, dealing them physical damage and reducing the damage they deal to you by 30% over the next 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 seconds. Polearms/Greatswords: Smash the ground silencing all enemies in the area for 1.4 seconds, and heavily slowing them when attempting to leave the zone for 1 second, decaying. Enemies near the epicenter take 33% increased damage and are instead stunned for the silence duration.

Spears: Gander does 2 Quick Lunges stealing a portion of your target's resistances and dealing them a % of their max Health as bonus physical damage on both strikes.

Ranged Weapons: Shoots a projectile that breaks and scatters to nearby enemies on collision or when reaching its max range. Enemies struck by the fragment of the arrow take 35% of it's damage and are dealt overtime poison damage.

(W) Disciple's Plead

Melee Weapons: Gander lets out a Battle Cry in the name of Gaiya increasing his Attack Damage for 10 seconds and parrying the next 1/1/2/2/3 Damaging enemy abilities or auto-attacks that deal more than 12% of Gander's max hp (parry's the auto-attack's on-hit effects as well). Ranged Weapons: Gander call upon the might of Gaiya to summon a Sentient Being to assist him in battle. This being has 500 movement speed, 0.9 Attacks Speed and slows enemies by 35% every 3rd auto-attack. Gander can recast this ability to teleport to the Being's location sacrificing them and healing him for 50hp +30% of his missing health.

Melee Weapon: Gander Dashes forward dealing damage to targets along the way (Dash distance, Hitbox and dash damage differ depending on the weapon he is using) Ranged Weapon: Gander gains a burst of movement speed for 2 seconds which decays and +225 increased attack range and 3/6/9/12/15% missing health physical damage on his next 2 auto attacks.

(R) ** Forge**

Champion, Siege minions, large and epic monster on death leave behind 1 of 6 Smithing Gem Fragments in which Gander can use to forge weapons. Small minions and small neutral monsters have a 25% chance of droping them. These fragments last 9 seconds on the battlefield and requires Gander to channel for 2.5 seconds to obtain each one. These fragment can be veiwed in his "Gaiya Foundry" which allows him to combine fragments to build various weapons and shows what fragment combinations will make what weapons. Gander can combine a total of 3 fragments increasing the amount of fragments he can combine by leveling his ultimate (4/5/6). It takes a total of 3 seconds to build a weapon and costs 75 gold to make them. weapons have different tiers these tiers mark the strength and durability of these weapons. Tier 1 weapons last 2 mins and 30 seconds; Tier 2 last 3 mins; Tier 3 last 3 mins and 30 seconds and X tier last until Gander dies.

Equip any weapon of your fancy from any tier with, 250 gold and Gaiya's Blessing to make it an X tier item. Gaiya Presents himself to you when your out of combat at the 15 minute marks and every 5 minutes pass that mark. X Tier weapons are named after Gaiya himself.

Weapon stats:

Spear-like weapons give Gander +75 Attack Range and deal bonus true damage every 3rd attack. (Values differ from Tiers 1, 2 and 3) Tier 1: Deal 10 bonus true damage every third attack. Tier 2: Deal 25 bonus true damage ever second attack. Tier 3: Deal bonus 40 true damage ever second attack. X- Tier: Deal 50 bonus true damage every second attack.

Polearms/Greatswords give 25+ attack range, Attack Damage and Armor pen. (Values differ from Tiers 1, 2 and 3) Tier 1: Gain 1.5 Attack Damage per level and 8% Armor Penetration and basic attacks slow enemy attack speed by 10% for 2 seconds (4 second on target cooldown). Tier 2: Gain 2 Attack Damage per level, 12% Armor Penetration and basic attacks slow enemy attack speed by 15% for 2 seconds (4 second on target cooldown). Tier 3: Gain 2.5 Attack Damage per level, 16% Armor Penetration and basic attacks slow enemy attack speed by 20% for 2 seconds (4 second on target cooldown). X- Tier: Gain 3 Attack Damage per level, 20% Armor Penetration and basic attacks slow enemy attack speed by 25% and for 2 seconds (4 second on target cooldown).

Range weapons give +400 range, attack speed and crit chance. Swords give Lifesteal and apply a bleed on-hit. (Values differ from Tiers 1, 2 and 3) Tier 1: Your basic attacks heal you for 2% of the damage dealt, calculated before your target's resistances and apply a bleed that deals 6 +30% of your bonus attack damage over 2 seconds. Tier 2: Your basic attacks heal you for 4% of the damage dealt, calculated before your target's resistances and apply a bleed that deals 13 +40% of your bonus attack damage over 2 seconds. Tier 3: Your basic attacks heal you for 6% of the damage dealt, calculated before your target's resistances and apply a bleed that deals 20+ 50% of your bonus attack damage over 2 seconds. X- Tier: Your basic attacks heal you for 9% of the damage dealt, calculated before your target's resistances and apply a bleed that deals 25 +65% of your bonus attack damage over 2 seconds.
