Kayle and the Pulsefires

If I remember old lores correctly, when Pulsefire Ezreal and Aether Wing Kayle came out they were both from the same, Ruined Future, Runeterra. However, with the update to Pulsefire Ezreal and the addition of Pulsefire Caitlyn the story has no taken a new turn. Instead of Ezreal having jumped back to the past to prevent the horrible future he is now a time-jumping criminal from a totalitarian future and Caitlyn is a time cop hot on his heels. So....where does this leave Kayle?
