Draven - In real Life??

I've been doing research on this topic and it seems it might be possible. If one was to train with throwing automatic spinning axes with a handle in the center. Now the real question is, how do we make the axe return to the owner? Well i've come up with creative solution for this (Bear with me, this might sound crazy) If you were to put a plate of magneticly shielding metal in one of your cheecks, then have a cylinder of a strong magnet inside the cheeck that has the magnet. The person throw the axe hitting the target, now how do they make the axe come back? assuming the magnet is strong enough, you can move the magnet around in your mouth and move it to your other cheeck, then the axe would return to you. When finished you can return the maget to the magnetic field blocking cheeck. With enough training would someone be able to do this?

Seems quite unlikely, but I wouldn't put aside the thought completely.

The likelihood of missing a catch and having your arm sliced off by a spinning axe would probably put off a lot of potential candidates, TBH.

Unless you're wearing armor, which would just make the whole thing unwieldy to pull off.

the muscles in your mouth wouldn't be able to control a magnet that powerful. This means that the magnet would either rip through your cheek or at the very least be stuck on the side that you initially moved it to.

There is no realistic way of reproducing the bounce in rl. There are many ways to bring your axe back but to do so while it is spinning is nearly impossible and at the same time highly dangerous. Part of the reason that in the splash art and in the amv that his axes stick is because this would be against what you wanted to do with an axe anyway. You want your axe to stick into your target, not bounce off.

The only reason they return in the game is because they needed a way of giving him ammunition for another attack.
