Abraham, the Shadow Support

Abraham, an oddball mage who is determined to use Shadow Magic to support others, no matter the price that must be paid.

Abraham is a ranged support that fits into two different roles. Primarily he will be played as an enchanter, focusing on protecting damage dealers and keeping the enemies at bay. However, once his passive activates he takes on a completely different persona; becoming a Juggernaut that punishes anyone foolish enough to think that they can escape the shadows.

Passive – Shadows Affliction Every time Abraham manipulates shadows it take a toll on his mind, weakening his limitations. Casting abilities grant stacks lasting 4 seconds. At 5 stacks Abraham is overcome transforming into a shadow beast for 6 (plus 1 for every shadow Abraham is tethered to) seconds before going on CD. Transformation cleanses all CC and gives a burst of decaying MS and AS. Every time an allied tethered Champion dies Abraham instantly gains max stacks. If a tethered unit dies while Abraham is transformed, the burst of decaying MS and AS is refreshed. If a tethered unit dies while Shadows Affliction is on CD, a portion of the CD is refunded.

While in Shadow Beast form Abraham becomes melee, is silenced during the duration, and his autos do 12% of targets max health for every shadow Abraham is tethered to, expending a shadow for every auto.

Q – Shadows Covenant “Protection comes at a price” Abraham forces a targeted champion into the shadow realm and creates a shadow doppelgänger in their place for 2.5 seconds. The targeted Champion controls their doppelgänger like normal. Any damage done to doppelgänger is delayed until the champion returns from the shadow realm. After the duration allies receive 90/85/80/75/70% of damage done to doppelgänger while enemies receive 100% of damage done to doppelgänger. All healing is also reduced while in shadow realm.

W – Growing Darkness “In the darkness our power grows” “The more shadows there are, the STRONGER I become” Abraham creates a 500-unit radius AoE lasting 3 (times the amount of shadows Abraham is tethered to) seconds calculated after initial cast. Duration will increase by 1.5 seconds for every shadow tether that is made after initial cast. Growing Darkness slows enemies by 10%, gaining an additional 10% for every second the enemy stays in the AoE, up to a cap of 60%. Enemy sight radius is also slowly reduced the longer they remain in the AoE. Allies that stand in the AoE gain a shield for 15% of the damage they do to enemy champions and epic monsters. While in Shadow Beast form, running through AoE will create a trail following Abraham for the remaining duration allowing him to spread the darkness more.

E – Shadow Puppeteer “A Shadow follows its OWNER” “All Shadows belong to ME” Passive – My Shadows and Me: Champions effected by Abrahams abilities have their shadows stolen, tethering themselves to him within 1300 units for 12 seconds. Enemies are revealed in the fog of war while tethered. Active – Abraham manipulates his shadow quickly extending it out in the targeted direction, damaging and passing through non-Champion units. Hitting an enemy Champion will Entangle and force them to make the same movements Abraham makes for the next 1/1.25/1.5/2.75/2 seconds. Allies hit with active will tether their shadows to Abraham. Notes: Entangle means: Rooted and Disarmed.

R – Interwoven Shadow “Come, let us walk this path together, for the night is dark” Abraham melds into the shadows and leaps in the target Allies shadow becoming Untargetable and Entangled to the Allies position for 3 (plus 1 for every shadow Abraham is tethered to) seconds. Interwoven Shadow grants a shield for 10% of his max HP, once the shield is broken Abraham and his Ally split all damage done to the Ally evenly by a 50/50 ratio. The damage Abraham takes is dealt as true damage. Neither can die while the other remains alive, either the Allies or Abrahams HP will go no lower than 1HP as long as the others HP is greater than 1. During this time, Abraham can cast all abilities and will not transform into a Shadow Beast. Recasting Interwoven Shadow will separate the two and Abraham will appear from behind the Allies current facing direction.

Strengths and Weaknesses While in normal form, Abraham is completely reliant on allies to deal damage while his strengths lie in using his spells to try and control the battlefield by either peeling for his allies or making opportunities for his team to capitalize on.

In Shadow Beast form, Abraham loses all ability to peel or disengage but makes up for that in a massive spike to his damage output.

An Abraham player should never be caught out alone, with no way of achieving max stacks in a short amount of time, Abraham will be able to do little to nothing to stop an incoming threat if out of position.

Playstyle Abraham offers unique choices in his play patterns. People who want to focus on the enchanter aspects of his kit can use his spells purely for defensive patterns. For instance, saving his Q for allies that need to survive just a little bit longer to change the outcome; or by using W and E to deter those backline divers from going ham. However, be aware of fights dragging on, Abraham can only use his shadow magic for so long before being taken over by them For those players wanting to play a bit more selfish, there is a viable playstyle for that as well. For example, Q can be used for an enemy instead of an ally to potentially get a second burst of Movement speed after transformation. W can be offensively used in order to slow enemies and get as many Shadow Tethers as possible to maximize the Shadow Beasts bonus Auto Attacks. Be wary of this play style though, because while it does have the potential to turn an enemy penta kill on its head, Abraham loses a lot of power once alone.

Special shout-out to @FlameHalbrdOkido for great input and ideas in making Abraham that much more fleshed out.

The abilities are well written and developed for your purposes, but I think ur intro could use some work.
