Urgot VGU ability idea's

So i had a couple of concept idea's for an Urgot VGU and i would like some feedback for my idea's

Ofc in the VGU Urgot Should definitely regain his nipple, ok now first some context of how i currently look at urgot

The theme i went with is weapons platform & hunter, play style wise. So someone with access to a lot of weaponry and tools for chasing people down So Urgot is kind of broken or really lack luster depending on strength and his kit doesn't completely make sense

He has low range basic attacks is slow, lacks waveclear but does have an unavoidable E + Q combo which can be really obnoxious when he is strong His ult makes no sense for someone with a kit designed to kite, and the rest of Urgots kit feels awkward for someone designed to hunt people down

His passive is also really lame it could totally be replaced Either most of his kit has to change thee wise or the ult probably has to go even though it's a really nice and unique one

Urgot is not mobile and that's fine as long as he has the tools to chase and hunt people down or corner them etc etc The ult is definitely good to chase people down though but there are a lot of other options to replace it. His E could be changed too to better suit the concept of chasing people

Alternatively the shield could go too or it could be his new ultimate or passive

Im not all sure about those things but: To really make him feel like more of a weapons platform i think one of the easiest ways is to address his basic attacks and Q

So what i came up with so far. ** Weapons platform theme**

Basic attacks Urgot is now melee with a 425 range basic attack, so this would essentially make him a '' low ranged'' melee champion This way he has access to ''melee only'' itemization and item effects Considering he can't make great use of most typical ''ranged'' weapons and items like say a item 3085 due to his short range attacks But Urgot would love to have better access too item 3071/item 3078 rage passive increased movement bonus for melee's to chase people item 3742 Additional on hit for melee's and the slow helps him too item 3074 /item 3748 For aoe attacks the ad and sustain is really nice to have as well as more waveclear should he want to item 3022 Stronger slows on basic attacks item 3401 Support Urgot anyone? But also masteries like Grasp

Urgot as a beefy scary weapons platform would really like to have access to nice itemization options like that, and this would help increase his build diversity And this would be a pretty unique thing too as nobody in league can really do these things outside of Gangplank 's parrley

So not much change here except better use out of certain items and access to new item options

** As for the Q Idea's** His Q is now a ground target aoe attack where he shoots a missile up and then it would come down to where his cursor is after a small delay. 0,2 seconds? The aoe radius would be something small like 175 just like jinx rockets It's range would be longer then live

Manacost would go up a bit as well and the refund goes away It would gain total AD scaling and AP scaling to allow for a wider array of itemization options, the damage would be split too with the base damage being physical and adding the scaling damage in either physical for the total AD and magic damage for the AP scaling part And it would apply spell effects as if it were single target. Again to Allow for more good itemization options

This would serve as Urgot's poke and waveclear tool and can be adapted for chasing by building a item 3116 for example and poke can be made stronger with item 3042 for enhanced poke damage since it would apply to all targets hit, though this would drain your mana rapidly Abilities stats

Manacost 50 at all ranks Range 1200 to 1400 based on rank Aoe Radius 175 Delay before impact 0,2 seconds Physical damage 10 / 35 / 60 / 85 / 110 + 65% AD Magic damage 40% AP Applies spell effects as a single target ability

As you can see i am aiming for Urgot to have access to a lot of weapons and tools to use so he has a lot of build variety to adapt his weaponry for the situation at hand

The Hunter This part i haven't fully fleshed out yet and will require more fine tuning and maybe even different abilities

Idea's for the Hunter theme side of Urgot, the cunning Noxian warrior who ambushes and pursues his enemies behind their line and instills terror in the hearts of his enemies

W idea Shield removed, and replaced with Anti personal Mines working on charges RANGE: 500 placement / 175 activation / 250 explosion / 325 Q explosion COST: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 Mana + 1 Charge COOLDOWN: 2 Recharge Time: 28 / 27 / 26 / 25 / 24 Maximum charges: 1 / 1 / 2 / 2 / 3 Duration 5 minutes

When an enemy steps on the mine it arms itself instantly But it only detonates when moving once it's activated Activated traps reveal enemies The explosion applies a heavy but very short decaying slow

Q can be fired on the mine to detonate with an increased explosion radius and bonus damage this will also knock enemies close to the center (within the 175 radius) of the blast back a small distance

This will function as a defensive tool to set up a perimeter and a tool to find and trap enemies by placing it in escape routes and then either letting the mine slow them down or using Q to detonate it in their face

Counterplay includes currently available anti trap options and standing still once activating the mine in order for you or an ally to shield yourself and then move again, or using red trinket to disarm it.

E Idea

This could be a net which roots people in place Deals magic damage Has no scaling only base damage, Urgot has enough damage in his Q & W & basic attacks

it would work like a grenade where Urgot launches it forward and after traveling for 400 units it pops open into a net and travels 400 units further

Grenade would be a small projectile, getting hit by it does medium damage and applies a decaying slow for 1 second Getting hit by the net does light damage but roots for 1-2 seconds based on rank

Medium cool down ability with medium manacost

This would be his tool for chasing and hunting people down, you can outplay it by either blocking the grenade or dodging it

Additional idea's

Some additional ideas for his ultimate and passive

New ultimate idea. A steroid of sorts

R, Terror capacitor

Short cooldown and goes on cooldown once the ability ends Initial manacost would be 50 since it's a toggle it will drain his mana quickly anyway Toggle ability which drains mana 20/30/40 for example Shield regenerates with mana consumption from the toggle and reduces all incoming damage by 10 / 15 / 20 % Shield scales with % of max health & mana + a base value overal the shield would be pretty big When shield is active Urgot ignores 10 / 15 / 20 % of enemy resistances While active Urgot Q impact delay is reduced to 0,1 second and his net travels twice as fast Goes on cooldown once deactivated or shield is depleted Once deactivated all bonus effects end and remaining shield decays quickly

This would be Urgot main defense tool and it also helps enhance his damage but it does drain mana quickly. It pretty much enhances his abilties by making those faster and more deadly and boosting Urgot defenses

Passive idea's

Passive Zaun powershield Whenever Urgot takes more then 10% of his current health as damage half of it is dealt to his manapool instead Does not activate below 20% max mana

This is for if his ult does not become his defense steroid and he gets a different one which i haven't come up with yet ^^ 2 defense steroids would probably be a bit much and if he had both of these he wouldn't have any mana left lol.

Passive: Zaun enhanced locomotor Urgot gains bonus movement when not taking damage up to 10% once damaged this resets and starts building up again Gains 1% per second Only builds up when moving, This will help Urgot chase targets down

Final word

Ok these are my idea's I'm curious to what you all think of it. Don't mind the numbers too much they are there to provide an example. Leave me some feedback please
