Poppy's call

Hello everyone, I created a small piece of story on poppy and I would like to know your advice on how I can improve. Thanks for reading!

Poppy: A hero's calling A humble meeting

She has been traveling for days by now. she's wandering around this city for a while now. So as every smart man in valoran she decides It's time to look for a tavern. After just a couple minutes of searching she sees a tavern. She enters and all she can see are dirt looking creeps, not a table is untaken but then she sees the bar in the middle made of swords and shields. "I'll just sit at the bar then i guess" she thinks. She lays down her hammer and goes to sit on a stool. As she asks the bartender for his finest drink she asks why this bar is made of swords and shields on which the bartender replies: "These shields and swords are all weapons used by fallen men who swore to protect this city. Look at it as a memoriam". Her interested look is interrupted as someone else speaks to her from the side : " What an awful big Hammer you have for being such a yordle like you". Poppy looks aside and sees a tiny little yordle just like her with the biggest smile you could imagen. "Tristana's the name" she says while handing her hand to greet her. "If I pay you that drink then would you mind telling me what a yordle as you is doing in a city so far in the unknown?" she asks. There is something poppy finds weirdly attractive to her so she thinks it wouldn't mind telling her the story.

My name is poppy, a yordle just like you. I am a proud demacian warrior and I have been given one important task. They have ordered me to take this hammer and look for It's righfull owner. That Is the hero who can protect their people and use the hammer to make sure no harm Is ever done to those under his protection. So my task is to find a hero, a hero who can do what must to be truly demacian proudly.

With a big smile on her face Tristana says: "So this hammer is a big hero and you're just his Guardian angel". "I supposed that Is correct" poppy answers firm. They both look each other in the eye and then burst out laughing. "So do you live here tristana" poppy asks. "No, I just stay here in a lodge I rented for my passage back to home in bandle city, how come I never saw you there?". "Well I moved to demacia quite soon since I always wanted to fight for demacia". "And now you're here looking for a hero in need of a hammer, how's that going?" On which poppy responds: "They keep dying". As the two new made friends talk and laugh away in the tavern It's getting pretty late and poppy will have to look for a place to sleep soon. "Why don't you just sleep at my place? I have two bedrooms in the room I sleep, come-on It'll be fun". Poppy agrees and so they go. On the prepare for the night and get the all deserved rest they need. The way to the house is a long street covered in flowers. All the streets are made out of dirt except this one, this is the main street and it is covered with flowers and lightings and made of stone. The house is just as pretty with big balconies also covered in flowers and wooden gold trimmed windows asking you to just admire the scenery. They head in and prepare for the night. Both go to sleep, poppy falls asleep in about 5 minutes but tristana cannot seems to get sleep. And just as she's about to fall asleep tristana hears a weird risspling downstairs. She takes her cannon and slowly sneaks down the stairs, as soon as she is of the stairs she sees a filthy rat trying to steal poppy's hammer. "Twitch, you thief!" she yells waking poppy up in an instant. And she shoots her cannon once firing twitch trough the beautifully made window right outside where he landed a hair away from a pointed fence. You can hear twitch growling as he stumbles away slowly. Poppy doesn't really know what happened yet but thanks tristana for saving her, without her she may had lost her hammer to no hero after all. Both go to sleep and poppy thinks about how lonely she was all this time on her quest. She loves her quest but It's been ages since she had a real friend like now, and how she knows how fun it is now. The stars of the night approach and the sun is long gone. The howling breeze is there and the night fades. all so the very next day the shimmering's of the sun could shine upon tristana's big eyes, or to let the warmth fall on to the smooth body of hers. She wakes up with one hell of a yawn and dresses herself ready. As she goes down the stairs so wake up poppy she sees no yordle, all she sees is a paper on her bed.

Dear tristana, I loved the last 12hours and think you are great. But as I still have a quest I cannot stop until I have found the true deserving hero this hammer needs. I know how it feels to have a friend again and I thank you greatly for this all. I hope we see once more in the future but for now I have to go.

Tristana kind of knew this was going to happen but still she is sad. however she has no time to grief. Because as soon as she read the letter her door is breached in and a long lady enters taking her instantly and tying her up. From outside you hear someone say: "I'm back sweetie". and they take tristana with them. Somewhere on the other side of the city however there is poppy. She's preparing herself to go back to wandering the land on her quest for a hero. She buys some food and passes a leather craftsman to fix a hole in her armor. as the man is fixing her armor he asks: "Weren't you with that girl in the tavern last night?"," I saw her getting dragged away by a rat and a woman a couple hours ago". "What?" poppy yells. She puts on her armor and throws three golden coins towards the leather craftsman as she runs and grabs her hammer on the way. Poppy runs as fast as she can to the house via the main street, she runs swift and elegant with the hammer on her shoulder as if it is made out of rubber. She reaches the house and instantly sees the man was right, these are obviously the footsteps of a rat. She looks around and follows the trail. The trail is long and the longer she follows is the more the trees cover up the sun until a point where the sun its completely hidden away. Between the trees she sees the trail stopping, stopping at the entrance of a cave. There is a sign at that entrance, two bone shaped stripes in the form of an X. She's sure Tristana must be in there but as she goes deeper in the cave it gets darker every meter. So with some quick-thinking Poppy slams a piece of wood of the logs supporting the cave and makes a makeshift torch out of them. She is traversing the moldy cave as the stones start to rumble, the floor underneath her suddenly collapses and in a fraction of a second she slams her hammer in front of her catapulting her forward, looking behind her to see her torch falling into a big pit with no end. As she looks in front of her she sees the end of the passage in the cave and notices a light. She runs faster now knowing she's almost there. And there she is, Tristana is tied up a pole in the middle with her clothes teared to shreds making her almost naked. Wanting to help her evelynn jumps in front of her but poppy just throws her buckler stunning evelyn and making her fall to the ground unconscious. She is making sure she didn't actually kill evelynn as she feels a tremendous pain on her back. Twitch has shot her in her back with a poison arrow and poppy is feeling very weak. But with her last powers she starts swinging her hammer heavily and then releases all her remaining power onto the ground releasing a shockwave simply blasting Twitch trough all the layers of stone into the sky. Poppy unties Tristana as she jumps on her and hugs her, and tristana kisses her. "Give me your hammer" Tristana says. And as Poppy gives her the hammer Tristana writes something in it with her sharp nails. As she looks to what Tristana has written she sees "Poppy" engraved on the hammer. "Don't you see it? You are the hero poppy. You are the one worthy of the hammer." tristana says. And poppy realizes she is right, the amount of times that poppy has saved the day as the hero died. Tristana looks into poppy's eyes and says: "It's time for a new quest. And this this time, your not alone" As she grabs poppy's hand.
