Thresh recommendation

I just wanted to recommend that Thresh's E (Flay) is able to bring souls, that were in his Flay's hitbox, to Thresh and get absorbed by him. Of course he would have to flay them in the direction of him but if being too specific like that would be too much work, then flaying them at all and having them absorbed by Thresh is fine too.

I've talked to many people and they think that would be a cool addition to his kit.

If there is any reason this wouldn't be a good idea I would love to hear why.
