Champion Concept. Marquis "Weaver of Fates" Open ended Work in Progress
Design: Marquis is an AD Support. The play style revolves around controlling the enemies movements and locking them down to small areas. I'm not completely sure about the actual design of the character in terms of appearance, however I want this character to be extremely upbeat. The character should be an ambitious, talkative character that people find lovable.
Abilities:
Passive: Strings of Fates/Unbreakable Ties
Strings of Fates: Marquis gains charges known as string charges which he uses for his abilities. He can hold up to 3/4/5 at 1/8/16 respectively. He gains a charge every 30 seconds or upon kill or assist.
Unbreakable Ties: Marquis selects a soulmate and is forever bound to them by the strings of fate. While Marquis has string charges his soulmate gains X% of all of Marquis's stats. 10% per charge. This passive is not lost unless Marquis dies or uses all string charges.
Q - Fates Arrival:
This is a skill shot that marks a enemy or allied champions for additional effects (mark lasts longer on allied champions and shorter on enemy champions). If it hits an Enemy it deals damage and allows Marquis to reactive this skill again. The second activation of this skill will allow Marquis to fire a string from the marked champion to target location. If the string hits an enemy champion or terrain. The target is bound to that and cannot move past the length of the string. The string breaks after 2/3/4/5/6 seconds. Consumes a String charge if reactivated a second time. *Only 1 target can be marked at a time.
W - Fates Select:
Passive: Marquis gains an empowered attack/charge every fifth attack. Marquis can use this empowered attack/charge on enemy or ally.
If used on an Enemy the attack deals +X% of total AD as bonus true damage based on remaining charges. +10% per Charge. If used on an Ally the charge gives the Ally a shield for remaining charges * total AD. Shield decays over time.
Active:
Marquis immediately empowers his next attack consuming a string charge and marking target.
E - Fatefully Returned:
Marquis can active this ability if a target is marked. If an Enemy is marked Marquis connects himself with the target reeling the string causing both of them to collide at the middle of the strings length. The enemy takes damage on collision and is stunned briefly. If an Ally is marked when this ability is activated a string appears connecting Marquis and the marked ally. If the Ally clicks on the string the ally is reeled back to Marquis's current location. This ability consumes a String charge.
R - Fates Unraveled:
Marquis seals marked target in a cocoon for a short duration rendering them into a stasis. During this time Marquis can cast his abilities on target without consuming string charges.
If the target is an enemy they take damage over the duration. If the target is an Ally it heals them over time.
