Champion Play-style Idea (Delay Master)
I'm not going to focus too much on lore or the descriptions of the champion, but on a different kind of skill set.
The basic idea is that the champion is able to delay spells, sort of defeating the idea of cooldowns, meaning that instead of just shooting out skill shots like usual, you can delay the skill shot and plant it on a location and then plant the same skill at another location, later firing both skill shots at once, but ofc the cooldown still comes into play, just that you can fire 2 of the same spell in one instance after setting it up, rather than just firing one at a time.
ill just give an example skillset to explain easier. not going to have too much detail though.
Q - something like Xerath's R but the speed is a little slower and you can only fire once. Cooldown can be something like 4 seconds W - a small explosion of a slowing wave, dealing no damage but slows the enemies, while granting the champion an amount of shield. Cooldown can be 7 seconds E - maybe something like nami's R, but less aoe and range, as well as shorter cc time. Cooldown can be around 5 or 6 seconds R - Allows for the delaying of spells, when casted, the next spell casted will be delayed and the cooldown of it will reduce to 60% of its original cooldown. can delay up to 2 spells at level 1, 3 at level 6, 4 at level 11, 5 at 16
so for the way to use it, an example is R+Q > R+Q > R+R R to delay the next spell cast and then Q to place down the position that its going to go to and then double tap R to cast the spells delayed. and when you press R, you can still cast another Q at the same time, shooting out 3 spells where 2 spells are delayed and the other one is just a normal cast.
or you can use it defensively to run away, R+E > R+W > R+R OR R+W > R+W > R+R in the first one, knock up and deal damage to the enemy while running away, as well as slowing them down and granting yourself a shield. and then you can just cast both spells again if you want to. in the second one, its to stack the slow and the shield, so you can have a higher survivability.
so the concerns for this champion is that the delayed spells will take too long to cast, or that when played too well, the enemies have no chance against the champion. So as a counter for other champions, you can make the delayed spells appear like gangplank's barrels where the enemies have a chance of destroying it before its cast. But when destroyed, it deals half the damage of the delayed spell in a small aoe around it. which could be the passive or something. the skillset is just a general idea of what it can do, so you can change it to whatever you deem more interesting. but the main point of this concept is the spell delaying.
