Idea for an "unorthodox" champion build...
This is a concept (admittedly, early stages) for a hero I would like to see:
Primary: Tank Secondary: Support
Passive: Minion Mauler: gain additional melee damage, XP and gold against minions
(Q) Manipulate Time Passive: Champion gains (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%) Atk Spd and Mov. Spd. Allies gain (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%) Atk spd and Mov. Spd. Active: sets off a shock wave: any enemies caught have movement speed reduced by (-15%, -30%, -45%, -60%, -75%) for 4 seconds.
(W) Manipulate Life Passive: Champion's health regenerates (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%) faster, and allies health regenerates (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%) faster. Active: sets off a shock wave: any enemies caught can not gain health for (2, 4, 6, 8, 10) seconds.
(E) Manipulate Power Passive: Champion gains (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%) melee damage: allies gain (10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%) melee damage. Active: sets off a shock wave: enemies caught can not cast abilities for (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) seconds.
(R) Turret Breaker Passive: Champion does (20%, 40%, 60%) more damage against turrets and receives (20%, 40%, 60%) less damage from turrets: allies do (10%, 20%, 30%) more damage and receive (10%, 20%, 30%) less damage from turrets. Active: champion and all allies do double damage against turrets for (3, 6, 9,) seconds.
This hero is part tank, part snowplow: he isn't built to take opposing champions head on, but can wipe out enemy minions and turrets, clearing the road to the enemy base. He also provides passive boosts to the team, making their lives easier against heroes by allowing them to move faster, heal faster, and do more damage faster thru his passive boosts.
My only concern is that his is a "fine line" hero, in that it wouldn't take much to make him broken (unplayable), or broken (unbeatable) depending on where those stats are set at. However, I think there is a competitive balance position somewhere there, and a champion that moves faster, hits (melee) harder, and heals faster while supporting their team passively at the expense of a big offensive ability? I think there could be a place for a champion like that here.
Udyr is similar, but he only buffs himself as opposed to the entire team, and is built more for soloing, whereas this would be more of a tank/support (with passives)/control (with actives) build along the same "focus on melee" concept.
What do you guys think? If you like the concept, where would you recommend the stat settings be?
