Kogmaw Balancing W concept

What im thinking is making kogmaw W a toggle passive that drains mana So if u activate W u gain your amazing attack speed and on hit damage in exchange of cant move (like jhin when he ults, or ezerath when he activates Q ) now it makes him a Dangerous turret , so now give him extra Attack Speed to balance out the new weak mobility keeps him balance because that now means he cant be so insanely late game and it feels like u cant win, if u have any thought please comment , Riot wants to make kogmaw A insane late game Turret style ADC and this perfectly fits his style and kit.

with this concept it is not either to buff or nerf him its for finding his identity and what he is suppose to be

Then he gets an essence reaver and still runs over your whole team before you get close enough to blow him up.

It would need to be a toggle that drains every second rather than every AA.

that should really be changed to like swains ult as a toggle ability with a more mana cost the longer its on but a cooldown where enemies have a window to counter attack and it should have a significant enough cooldown where just getting essence reaver doesnt completely nullify the risk

@lordGeovanni u do know if he activates W as the toggle he would be rooted in place? Mana wouldn't be a issue because u wont stay in the rooted form of W for a very long time, So mana wouldnt be a issue that much as u think it would be , so essence reaver wouldn't be that worth either.
