New Catalyst killed my champion idea. :(
So I haven't actually posted this champion concept yet because it is still very raw, and would honestly be super difficult to attempt to balance, and in my experience people will completely blow off your champion concepts if you can't put some numbers to it.
One of the most basic mechanics for this champion would be a toggle ability that enhances the champion's auto attacks and costs about 10% of the champion's maximum mana on attack. (Taken completely out of context, this doesn't make any sense at all)
But the new Catalyst item completely destroys all chances of this ability working because this would become broken. 15% of mana consumed translated into health would allow this champion to accumulate a large mana pool and sacrifice all of it in 10 auto attacks to gain a significant portion of their health back. There may be some sort of cap on this, and even if not it would lose it's overall effectiveness eventually, but it still frustrates me. I really liked the idea for this champion :/ [zombie-nunu-bummed]
