AP Marksmen

It's been a while since the role of ADC has been changed to Marksman, and yet there has been no attempt on Riot's part to create an AP Marksman, Azir doesn't count. I just wanted to open a discussion about why or how to make AP Marksman.

How does Azir not count? A marksmen is someone who uses basic attacks as their main source of dmg which fits.

Isn't that basically Ezreal?

I believe its still just called "bot" but marksmen usually take the role of ADCs. Even then, Corki deals 50% magic damage, then there's teemo and azir. But anything close to an AP marksmen would basically be some form of hybrid like corki, or a mage like ziggs who can still fulfill the role (if played right).

Then there's morde.

I'm talking about creating more. Cass uses spells, Azir is still also based off his spells, ziggs is just a mage in the bot lane, and kayle, Ez and teemo are arguably the only ones, with a little of azir (I still don't count him). Also, yes in champion select it is called Bottom, but I'm talking about the Champion primary and secondary roles, when you sort them by that role in champ select. I just want to see more champions who have a focus in auto attacks, but have a main focus in AP, instead of AD, Crit, or Lethality, although Crit could still be applied to AP Marksmen if created right.

With the push for more creative and complex champions, someone like TF could be remade into a nice AP Marksman to give him a more interesting kit and playstyle, but it doesn't really have to be him either.

I just feel like it is a missed opportunity to increase the diversity in the champion pool, just like Spell Blades, and Hybrid Champions. And by Hybrid I mean Champions who's main sort of build is Hybrid, not those who CAN do it, but are better off focusing into one type. Not saying there aren't any spell blades or hybrids, but I would like to see more.
