Please Read, Sincerely a Pre-rework LeBlanc Main
The LeBlanc rework succeeded in giving LeBlanc more interaction with her abilities (aka wave clear with her WQ, E instant passive proc with root, and a unique ultimate) but it failed the community as a whole by introducing a cancerous (meaning low counter-play) assassin that now plays similarly to a control mage with a slower burst window. Because of needed nerfs, LeBlanc now uses a Gunblade
to pull off her burst. A hybrid item being built on a character with no hybrid scaling is more efficient than bulding straight ap. This should be an obvious sign that the character's kit is severely flawed. One of the flaws is the hard cc in her kit. Roots work great, amazingly even, for control mages since they are relatively immobile and/or squishy
but on an assassin it leads to a situation that provides very little counter-play since it confirms their damage while keeping them safe at the same time. Below are my proposed changes
Passive : (Unchanged) Sigil of Malice INNATE: LeBlanc's spells mark affected enemies with Sigil of Malice for 4 seconds. The Sigil charges over the next 1.5 seconds, after which LeBlanc's next spell that hits the target will shatter it to deal 30 - 300 (based on level) (+ 80% AP) bonus magic damage.
Q : (UNCHANGED) Shatter Orb RANGE: 700 SPEED: 2000 COST: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 MANA COOLDOWN: 6 ACTIVE: LeBlanc projects an orb towards the target enemy, dealing magic damage. MAGIC DAMAGE: 55 / 90 / 125 / 160 / 195 (+ 50% AP) If Shatter Orb triggers Sigil of Malice, the orb bounces to the closest charged Sigil and damages its next target, dealing 80% damage to minions. MINION REBOUND DAMAGE: 44 / 72 / 100 / 128 / 156 (+ 40% AP)

FIRST CAST: LeBlanc dashes to the target location, damaging all nearby enemies upon arrival and leaving a return pad at the cast location for 4 seconds. After a delay, she can activate Distortion's second cast at no additional cost.
MAGIC DAMAGE: 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 / 100 (+ 20% AP)
(BUFF) MAGIC DAMAGE : 60 / 75 / 105 / 120 (+ 45 % AP)

SECOND CAST: LeBlanc blinks to Distortion's return pad.
(NEW!!!) Passive: Upon gaining a kill or assist refreshes internal cooldown. (Still can return to pad if kill occurs before 4 seconds)
E : (NEW!!!) Mimic RANGE: Self COST: 60 MANA COOLDOWN : 24 / 20 / 16 / 12 / 8 ACTIVE : LeBlanc enters stealth for 3 / 4 / 5 seconds creating a mimic of herself that attacks the nearest enemy with the most recent spell cast by LeBlanc. The mimic deals 25% damage and applies Sigil of Malice if it is not alread on cooldown. If the mimic takes damage or completes its action (cannot be destroyed mid cast) the mimic will be destroyed.
R : (NEW!!!) Shadow of the Rose RANGE : 800 SPEED : 2000 COST : 100 / 150 / 200 MANA COOLDOWN : 54 / 46 / 38 ACTIVE : Leblanc fires thin skill shot that damages all enemies in a line applying SIgil of Malice MAGIC DAMAGE : 160 / 205 / 250 (+ 65% AP)
Having two AOE spells allows LeBlanc to utilize her Q in multiple situations not just for waveclear and single target damage. As a trade off, the short range on her R forces LeBlanc to get next to her targets in order to hit multiple targets.
Currently LeBlanc does not feel like an illusion assassin, rarely does high elo effectively utilize her RR other than as a blue trinket
, and currently requires a gunblade
to pull off her combo. This does not mean you CANNOT be successful with her current state, but the toxicity of it leads to nerfs and ultimately does not get picked because there are other champions who do what LeBlanc currently does but better.
