Champion Concept: Zer'Tak, The Void Stalker

The Void stalker is primarily going to be similar to assassin bruisers such as Nocturne and Kha'Zix in certain aspects, such as in play style and build. She should look similar to a praying mantis, but with alien-like blemishes to make it a very strange and frightening creature. Like the other void creatures, its base skin will be purple themed, and her second skin will be robotic, an eternum skin.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Q ability: Crushing Sweep Zer'Tak swings her front limbs in a short cone in front of her. Enemy minions take damage and are brushed off to the side, while enemy champions are caught in the middle and are rooted for 1.5 seconds. During this time Zer'Tak cannot auto attack or use other moves, but instead slashes at enemies with her razor sharp mandibles. Stalked enemies are rooted for 2.5 seconds and damaged for the duration. Crushing Sweep draws enemy minion aggro if you hit an enemy champion with it. Sweep Damage: 40/50/60/70/80 (+0.7 total AD) Mandible Damage: 10/15/20/20/30 (+0.3/0.35/0.4/0.45/0.5 total AD) per 0.5 seconds --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------W ability: Stalker's Instinct Passive: Zer'Tak is a patient stalker, and knows when to strike. Zer'Tak gains 20% movespeed for the first second she exits a brush, increased to 30% when moving towards a stalked champion. Active: Zer'Tak gains a burst of movespeed, rapidly decaying over the course of 1 second. Speed Boost: 25%/27.5%/30%/32.5%/35% Cooldown: 24/21/18/15/12 Mana Cost: 50 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------E ability: Raptorial Strike Zer'Tak's next auto attack has an extra 50 range, and impales enemies with her sharp spines, guaranteeing a critical strike. If the enemy is being stalked, then Raptorial strike also causes the target to get gorged, taking additional damage and bleeding for 15% of their max health over 3 seconds. Damage: 30/40/50/60/70 (+2.0 total AD [2.5 with infinity edge]) Gorge Damage: 25/30/35/40/45 Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------R ability: Surprise Attack Zer'Tak leaps out at an enemy, striking in the blink of an eye, dragging the enemy back to the location she started at. Her fast strike momentarily confuses an enemy, stunning them for 1 second after arriving at the starting location. Zer'Tak may leap twice as far at enemies who are marked with Stalked. Zer'Tak immediately remarks targets with stalked upon arriving at her starting location. Damage:200/300/400 (+1.0 total AD) Cooldown: 85/70/55 Mana Cost: 150/170/190

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Passive: Stalk Zer'Tak's auto attacks and abilities mark enemy champions with Stalked, a debuff that grants Zer'Tak an enhanced version of her next ability. 5 second cooldown after being procced, and may only affect one champion at a time. Stalk lasts for 10 seconds before decaying.

Xin has the armor pene passive Rek'sai as void spawn female, purple, and spiny. Also with the reduced vision. Also with passive, a bit of true damage

Ok, one thing. Don't repost your concept so fast... its sorta like shoving material into people's faces. I coulda sworn I saw this the other day, and I was right.

First things first... there are WAAAAAY too many passives going on in this champion. It's way too complicated.

REVIEW

Passive: Piercing Spines

Completely unnecessary. Why does this champion need bonus armor penetration? It's not like her AD scalings are that low.

Q: Sweeping Blow

I don't see any real problems here, but why would you need to knock them aside? What's the main thematic focus? What does knocking enemies aside do for Zer'Tak?

W: Impressive Display

This is an interesting ability, but I don't see how an assassin needs a fear. You're main focus is to get to the target and kill them, what's the point in making them run away? I mean, this is a melee champion who is an assassin/bruiser. Is the passive really necessary? Why gain bonus resistances when the target can't even attack you?

E: Reportorial Limbs

I like this ability here. But the passive doesn't really make any sense... why does it scale at 8 at 13? Shouldn't it scale with the ability itself? And why pick 8 and 13? If you were going to do a 3 part scale, you need to make it at 6/12/18. Makes no sense to do it otherwise.

R: Surprise Attack

No real problems with this ability, although the damage is extremely hefty. Especially since it has little to no counterplay. Make it either a skill shot, or it requires the mark, otherwise the player can't counter play against this because vision is not hard to come by. For instance, Rek'Sai rarely actually suffers from her vision reduction due to allies, minions, and wards granting her vision. The only real time that it becomes a bother is when you are totally alone. Also, if it doesn't require the mark, it creates lots of inconsistency of who and who you don't ult. Very confusing for enemy players.

SUGGESTIONS

Your champion is like a melting pot of cool stuff. But you can't tell what it is, or even how to play it. Choose a specific defining characteristic or mechanic you want your champion to have, and build upon that. Right now, I don't see any of these abilities combo'ing well together, or creating one cohesively different champion.

I have an idea for your champion here. I want to capitalize on your E, where she pulls targets to her. I want to make it so that she pulls her target to her and rips the target apart. This would make an interesting assassin.

For your passive, do a complete overhaul. The armor penetration is not needed. Let's instead give her a defining characteristic here. How about, when she is in a bush, her next Q,W, or R has a bonus effect?

For your Q, I don't see it fitting in anywhere nicely. The displacement is not needed. Instead, we need a way to damage the target once you've pulled them in. Let's give her something that an assassin would use, a tool that allows her to deal a good amount of burst damage. How about, the next 3 basic attacks are a guaranteed critical strike?

For your W, Let's give her a bit of mobility. How about a movement speed buff? Pure and simple.

For your E, I moved it to the ultimate. We now need a way to set up a trap for your weary victim. How about, set down a trap that slows the target and marks them with "Stalker's Instinct"? Stalker's instinct will reveal the target for 5 seconds.

For your R, I think we can do an overhaul on it. Since we are now focusing on the pulling part of your champion, we'll make it the most important ability... the ultimate, since pulling as a basic ability is slightly op. Not many changes, perhaps increase the damage of your E since it is an ultimate now and cause it to slow the target once you pull them to you.

My goal here was to emulate a preying mantis. You simple wait to ambush a target by setting a trap with your E, then pulling with your R, then hacking them apart with your Q. Your W is purely a utility tool to help you get around and into position to ambush.
