How I would rework Teemo
Hi my name is Teemo Laughs, I have been playing Teemo for the past 3 years and I my opinion Teemo needs a rework, so here is my thoughts. (Btw sorry if it is a little short, I kind of deleted this entire post when I was done and had too rewrite it) (Also, English is not my native language)
Q - Teemo’s new Q would no longer be a point and click ability, but rather a skill shot. The ability would no longer blind, but use Akali’s new mechanic “obscure”. Teemo’s new Q would hit a target (The Q would also have a small AOE) and Teemo would then become obscured (He would appear as a Dark silhouette (similar to how Akali is in her shroud when she is under turret range). This essentially means that they would no longer be able to target him with AA (similar to his current blind) as well as not being able to target him with spells. This “Obscure” would of course only be applied to the target(s) hit. So if Darius is hit by Teemo’s new Q another champion would be able to see him even though Darius is not. Teemo would still be able to AA and use his abilities. The reason why we could argue this is a fair change is that Teemo’s Q could no longer saw allies from fed Adcs, but only damage them. It would also make Teemo more viable in Teemo fights since he can be “obscured” from a carry and target them. This new Q would also have a new interaction with Teemo’s shroom which we will comeback to later.
W - Teemo’s W would keep the current passive movement speed effect, but add another active effect. Teemo would preform a combat roll, similar to Vayne (The combat roll is not my idea). This roll would interact with bushes and his shrooms: Bushes - If Teemo combat rolls into a bush he would instantly go invis for a certain duration (not infinite to prevent Teemo from being ungankable). This would of course proc his Passive’s attack speed bonus. Shrooms - If Teemo combat rolls onto a shroom Teemo would bounce of it similar to how his shrooms bonce of each other. This would also trigger the shroom and cause it to explode. These two mechanics would increase his skill ceiling and give him more options.
R - The only change I would make to Teemo’s shrooms is that they can be triggered by Teemo’s Q. If Teemo Q’s a shroom it will get triggered after X amount of time. This would give Teemo another mechanic as well as an option to play more aggressive with his shrooms. Keep in mind that Teemo has to sacrifice his Q damage and survivability to trigger his shroom, something that can be blocked by minions and other champions.
These changes would give Teemo a higher skill ceiling as well as giving him some interesting mechanics. I would love to get some feedback :)
