I've owned all of the champions for a while now, and the lovely hextech crafting only allows for a complete waste of rp when i receive champion shards. There needs to be some way to use the blue essence in other aspects of the crafting so that the rp spent on the chests isn't wasted.
Wrong section, and those shards will be used in the future, so hold onto them
or you get the next X champs for free because of the champions...I'm not cashing mine in...I have enough for 17 free champs XD
Riot said something about achieving Champion Mastery Levels 6 and 7 using Essence before Hextech Crafting launched, but I think they may have changed their minds about that.
They've said they're trying to implement some use for people who own every champion, but knowing Riot, there's no guarantee that it'll happen anytime soon.
