Tryndamere: The Barbarian King

http://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/img/champion/splash/Tryndamere_0.jpg

The Heart of a Warrior (Passive): Tryndamere has 1 point in each of his abilities at level 1 and cannot put any additional points into them. Instead, when Tryndamere levels up, he can choose to further increase 1 of the following stats:

  • +5 Base Attack Damage
  • +5% Base Attack Speed
  • +5 Base Armor
  • +5 Base Magic Resist There is no limit on the number of times you can increase a stat (meaning that you can put all 18 points into a single stat if you want).

Battle Fury (Passive): Whenever Tryndamere deals damage to an enemy unit, he gains 5 Fury (25 if Tryndamere deals damage to an enemy Champion). Tryndamere’s critical strike chance is increased by 0.35% for every point of Fury he has, up to a maximum of 35% critical strike chance. While at maximum Fury, Tryndamere gains Undying Rage. While out of combat, Tryndamere will begin to lose Fury at a rate of 10 Fury per second.

Bloodlust (Q): Tryndamere consumes all of his Fury, healing himself for 25 (+1 per point of Fury) (+15% missing HP) health. If Undying Rage is in effect, the healing effect is doubled to 50 (+2 per point of Fury) (+30% missing HP) health and Tryndamere gains 75% movement speed for 2 seconds while moving towards the enemy Champion marked with Vengeance. Cast Range: Self Cost: 100% of current Fury Cooldown: 3.5 seconds at all ranks

Vengeance (W): Passive: The last enemy Champion to have deal damage to Tryndamere will be marked with Vengeance. Tryndamere’s basic attacks against the unit marked with Vengeance will instantly generate 100 Fury and his critical strikes against the unit will deal 50% increased damage.

Mocking Shout (E): Tryndamere lets out an insulting cry, reducing the total attack damage of all nearby enemy Champions by 50% for 4 seconds. Enemy Champions who are facing away from Tryndamere also have their movement speed reduced by 50% for 4 seconds. Cast Range: Self AoE Range: 550 Cost: No Cost Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds

Undying Rage (R): Passive: While at 100 Fury, Tryndamere’s Health Bar turns red, indicating that his current health cannot fall below 5% of his maximum health.

Explanation of Abilities:

Explanation of The Heart of a Warrior: This passive is a little out there, but it feels at home on Tryndamere. The Barbarian King doesn't feel like someone who would rely on fancy abilities to get the job done. It sounds like the kind of Champion who only needs himself and his weapon to win, and that's what this passive is going for. You start with each of your abilities at level 1, as if they are innate to Tryndamere, and instead of leveling up your little magic tricks like a mage would, you level yourself up. And don't worry, even with all of his abilities at level 1, Tryndamere is not some sort of early game god. His abilities are mainly there to help him use his basic attacks.

Explanation of Battle Fury: This passive is like his current passive, except that it also activates Tryndamere's Undying Rage when he reaches 100 Fury.

Explanation of Bloodlust: A slight variation of his current **Bloodlust **ability. This version of **Bloodlust **is more interactive with Tryndamere's kit due to its synergy with Undying Rage and Vengeance. The movement speed boost will help him stick to his **Vengeance **target so that he can continue not dying.

Explanation of Vengeance: In Tryndamere's lore, it is said that "he is on an undying quest for vengeance for the one who destroyed the life he once knew." This is referring to Aatrox, but the idea of vengeance in Tryndamere's kit fits perfectly. Therefore, I made this **Vengeance **mechanic Tryndamere's primary method to keep his Undying Rage active. You gain Undying Rage, deal damage, consume your Fury to charge at the target marked with Vengeance, land a basic attack, and the cycle continue.

Explanation of Mocking Shout: I didn't change this ability in terms of its effect. I think it's already unique and fitting on Tryndamere. I only adjusted the numbers so that they do not scale by putting points into this ability (because of The Heart of a Warrior).

Explanation of Undying Rage: As long as Tryndamere is super angry, he won't die. But if he starts to cool off, or his he uses **Bloodlust **at the wrong time, he becomes an easy kill. I added the effect that Tryndamere's Health Bar turns red when he's immortal for clarity (and it would look cool and thematic). I made this a passive ability with no cooldown because, like Sion, I don't think Tryndamere should accidentally miss his innate ability to push on past death. In fact, I think that his ability to ignore death should be central to his gameplay.

Seems a bit overpowered... Having all of his spells at level 1 would be really unfair. He'd just rush on you and dive with his ulti to chain kill you, or at least get you out of lane.

Ok...I really don't want to be rude, but I'm sorry this is beyond one of the worst rework suggestions I've seen for Tryndamere.

First, the new passive: it's not good. Having all of your abilities access to you at level 1 is somewhat a huge advantage over everyone else. Plus the fact that your gain bonus stats while also having it scale with your growing stats isn't well thought out. I don't want to go against a Tryndamere that gained +90 AD or AS just because he waited out to be lvl 18 and nothing else.

The ult... I don't know why you thought this was a good idea. Having it turn into a passive and not set on a timer is possibly one of the worst suggestions to put on this guy. And the fact that he doesn't lose fury if not in combat for 10 seconds makes this somewhat insane and overpowered.

Q has very little reason to be on here other than for the stupidly insane heal if you do find yourself not in combat for those 10 seconds or the MS buff but even then it's still not that well thought out. On top of that the cooldown is far from acceptable when you put it with the rest of his kit.

W: oh you damaged me? well I'll hit you back so now my ult instantly actives and now my crit chance shoots up and does more damage to you!

E: the one ability that actual is somewhat the issue with Tryndamere right now and you basically left it the same -_-

Overall, this is possibly the worst redesign concept I've seen for this guy. You're suggesting him to pretty much be a full auto attack champ with very little interaction with real abilities, no ability scaling, and just made his undying bullshit even worse. Hell, I can already imagine him taking towers with no minions to help him because his fury is full and Thus HE CAN'T FUCKING DIE!

I'm sorry but no! I'm not accepting this!

Check this out... Because he was reworked... And I sat him on the Shelf for the Longest time because of it... Dont want to do that again!
