My Take on a Nocturne Rework

Ok, so I play my boy
a lot, but in mid, I lost the rush of him in jungle due to the wait for late game. But, I can never hate him. He's too much fun (and he's my first champ ever bought)! He's in an... awkward spot right now, but It's not his kit's fault. So I feel a small rework in his kit could slap him into meta right away, but... how? Well, Here's my try at it... Feel free to criticize. :D
New Nocturne- Abilities
Passive: Insomnia Nocturne marks an enemy with insomnia, enhancing abilities used on the marked enemy . (Must wait 45 seconds before changing target)
Q Ability: Duskbringer 60/65/70/75/80 Mana Nocturne throws a shadow blade that deals 60/105/150/195/240 (+75% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage and leaves a Dusk Trail for 5 seconds. Enemy champions hit also leave a Dusk Trail.While on the trail, Nocturne can move through units and gains 15/20/25/30/35% Movement Speed and 15/25/35/45/55 Attack Damage. Insomnia Upgrade: When Duskbringer is used on a target with Insomnia, the target will take 1/2/3/4/5% of their max health as bonus attack damage and will be seen through fog of war for 2.5 seconds.
W Ability: Shroud of Darkness 50 Mana Passive: Nocturne gains~~ 20/25/30/35/40% ~~15/20/25/30/35% Attack Speed. Active: Nocturne creates a magical barrier for 1 second, which blocks the next enemy ability.If an ability is blocked by the shield, Nocturne's passive Attack Speed bonus doubles for 5 seconds Insomnia Upgrade: Mana used for Shroud of Darkness will be refunded if the shield blocks an ability used by a target with insomnia
E Ability: Unspeakable Horror 60/65/70/75/80 Mana **Passive: **Nocturne gains massively increased Movement Speed toward terrified enemies. Active: Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing 80/125/170/215/260 (+100% Ability Power) magic damage over 2 seconds. If Nocturne stays within range of the target for the full duration, the target becomes terrified for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2/2.25 second(s). Insomnia Upgrade: If Unspeakable Horror is used on a target with insomnia, the target will be able to spread Unspeakable Horror to one more enemy champion pr epic monster(similar to Brand’s ult but with tethers), with reduced damage (only ~25% Ability Power) .
Ultimate: Paranoia 100 Mana 90/100/110 Mana
Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their ally vision for 4 seconds.While Paranoia is active, Nocturne can launch himself at an enemy champion, dealing 150/250/350 (+120% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage.
Insomnia Upgrade: When Nocturne uses Paranoia, the insomnia target sees everyone as Nocturne, Until Nocturne reactivates Paranoia or the until the ability is over
**New Nocturne- Visual Upgrade Focuses **
- Better Tail
Current tail looks odd and clunky, but now, we can make a better one! Take A-Sol’s tail or Galio’s Tail for how it should move and
Wolf’s… tail… thingy as an Aesthetic inspiration - Smoother Attack Animations Eh, I don’t really care about this one, it’d be nice, though
New Nocturne- Rework Goal The goal was to make Nocturne into someone to be feared. his ult made people forced to be grouped up and now with this passive, Nocturne will be a menace to those who are isolated and marked. It will make him a good jungler at the sacrifice of his old wave clear, but also a good snowballing mid laner. My favorite parts are the Ultimate with insomnia and his E with insomnia. The ultimate will make the target really... paranoid... and his E with his passive would make people scared to group up with the marked victim. All in all, I like this idea and it gives birth to a new play style for nocturne (Yes, I did take inspiration from Rengar’s passive as well as Tahm Kench’s)
Cool Ideas
- Special Interactions Since it can be argued he is now in a story with Lux and Garen, maybe some spooky remarks when he taunts near them? Or maybe quotes when he kills someone? Please Respond With As Much Criticism Needed :)
