Champion Concept: Vario, the Adapting Automaton

Vario-Latin:fleck, vary, diversify, variegate, alter, change

Base health: 1500 44.44~ per level. 700 starting health Base Armor 35 Base MR 35

Base Attack 100 lvl 18 Base Movement speed 330

No Scaling MR or Armor

Range Armored: 200 Weaponized: 500

Base mana: 800-1600

Passive: Changing Tactics

At the beginning of each match Vario begins the game with the ability to equip “Armor” for the first minute and ten seconds the speed debuff does not come into effect. It takes 4 seconds to equip the armor and 1.5 seconds to unequip it. When armor is unequipped it can be left any where on the map giving a small area of vision around it. It can be destroyed by 5 AA. Once destroyed Vario has to pay 500 gold to purchase another set of armor from the shop. When equipping armor Vario becomes 10% more vulnerable to all damage.

When armor is equipped Vario gains 20% bonus health, 50% bonus armor, and 50% bonus magic resistance. Vario also loses 10% movement speed and 10% attack damage.

When armor is not equipped Vario gains 20% movement speed.

Both versions have varying abilities.

Minion: Crushes minion dealing 25% of total health as damage 10% to super minions and monsters

Enemy Champion: Crushes enemy champion dealing 100/150/200 +.025% Total Health as mixed damage and slowing by 15% for 1/1.5/2
*When enemy is targeted Compacting crush slows for 50% and deals an additional 50% base damage.

Weaponized: Piercing Plasma 40/45/50/55/60 Mana 250 Range 5/4/3 Cool down

Vario pierces nearby enemy target with a focused energy spike dealing 100/125/150/175/200 +.6AD +.3AP

*As long as plasma shielding persists Vario gains a 15% speed increase for 1 second after hit *When enemy is targeted net two uses of plasma pierce strike twice, the second strike dealing half AD and AP damage as well as base damage.

Armored: Bulwark / Lock down 75 Mana 75 reactivation Self buff 15 Cool down

Bulwark: Vario vastly increases Armor and Magic Resistance by 20/20 and decreases his speed by 10% and is unaffected by slows/stuns/roots 3 /4/5/6/7 seconds

Lock down: Vario becomes rooted in place becoming immune to all CC and gains a regenerating shielded 100/1.5 seconds + .8 AP. When locked down Vario can attack and use all abilities. This self buff lasts for 6 seconds and cannot leave until full time has elapsed. Cool down starts after usage of abilities is over. 3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5

Weaponized: Accelerate / Plasma shielding 75 Mana 75 reactivation Self buff 10 Cool down

Accelerate: Vario gains 10% movement speed +.025% AP but gains momentum debuff. 5/6/7 duration cool down begins after buff ends. Momentum debuff: Varios change in directions follow a curve and is not able to make sudden changes in direction. 150 circle from center of the middle of Vario.

Plasma shielding: A high energy shield protects Vario from projectiles from one chosen direction lasting 3 seconds, all damage from the projectiles is reduced by 25% of the damage. Shield can only be active as long as accelerate is active. The shield has a width of 200. E

Armored: Shield bash 50 Mana 12/11/10/9/8 250 Range

Vario smashes his shield outwards outward causing enemy champions/minions/monster to be thrown 550. 100/125/150/175/200 +100% AD

Enemy's towards the outer ends of the shield are thrown at angles outward while ones in the center are pushed straight out.

*Targeted enemy champions will be dragged to Vario for .5 seconds and become stunned for 1 seconds afterwards rather than being pushed away. This can be used once regardless of cool down.

Weaponized: Piercing shot 60/65/70/75/80 Mana 800/850/900 Range

Vario fires a high velocity armor piercing round at the target dealing 75/100/125/150/175 +.03% AD ignores 25% Armor.

*When enemy is targeted, piercing shot can be used to guarantee 1 hit regardless of distance or cool down

Armored: Juggernaut / Targeting 170/135/100 Mana

Vario lowers his shield and gains the ability to “smash” through any two nearby walls, he can do this for 30 seconds or until he goes through both walls. After going through a wall a opening is made that allows allies to follow for 3 seconds, it takes 1.5 seconds to get through the walls.

Weaponized: Stalker / Targeting 120 initially then 80 Mana per second

Vario cloaks himself becoming 90% invisible, he cannot use any other ability other than accelerate and plasma shield, the shield is fully visible and does not lose his cloak, any other ability used removes the cloaking immediately.

Targeting: Vario visibly begins targeting a single enemy champion, after 2.5 seconds a red reticle visible to both teams tracks the movement and health of the enemy champion for 30 seconds, if the enemy champion leaves a area of 3000 the reticle is lost.

Champion information: Will continue if decent interest in concept.
