Totem Champion Concept (League Files #2)

So I had this idea pop into my head one day and finally decided to put it up here. Basically I vaguely remember Riot saying something about a totem type champion and then had this idea a some point, either while i was in a game of just thinking of League while at school.

The idea is basically that their Q W and E would all be totems with various buffs or affects. Something like the Q being a totem that can be placed and then re-cast to either send an ability out from the totem like a skill shot or something AOE, or replace that totem because it gives a passive bonus. Totems would also be able to give some amount of vision similar to Jhin traps or Teemo shrooms.

Basic Ideas for the totems:

One that shoots out a damaging skill shot from totem AOE damage originating from totem Gives a basic buff to champions within range of them Situational powers like having a stronger affect while in a bush or in river or while more enemy champions are near it

Yeah pretty basic for the Q W and E. There really isn't a whole lot I can think of for totem affects by themselves. That's why I thought a way to raise the overall skill cap of a champion like this while also making him much more interesting. And this is through the ultimate ability of such a champion. Unlike Udyr who just has another stance, this champion should most definitely not have just a bigger badder totem for their ult.

My Ult concept would be something along the lines of using the formation of your totems to create various effects. It would either have to have smaller effects with a short cool down, or massive game changing effects with a long cool down. The former would probably allow for more skill expression.

So in essence when you activate your ultimate, depending on how your totems are arranged or how many you currently have out, some type of effect will take place. Such as when you have all 3 somewhat in a triangle you could create something like a cage that would basically be a Jarvan temporary terrain creation to hold champions but they could still get out with pretty much any type of dash with the walls being ultra thin. Or if 2 of the totems are out something like an Irelia stun between the 2 totems. If there is only the 1 totem out then something like AOE damage or some small displacement or some other small CC effect because it would bad if you could quick put down one totem then ult for some huge effect while taking the time for a 3 totem set up gives less reward. And I'm only looking at the possibilities for these formations against the enemy, there are also possibilities for it to give large buffs to allies like heals, shields, damage buffs, or something similar.

This type of champion can be taken in many different directions, he could be a support or an AP mage, a jungler or top laner with lots tankiness or ganking potential with something like a move speed buff or if want to extreme, something like dash following the path of your totems, or something similar.

All in all the totem concept is very broad and has many avenues that can be followed and this is just my take on it.
