Kayle Rework: Putting the Fire in Fury
Kayle is the epitome of everything current League designers despise about game fairness and balance. She is vaguely fun to play when ahead, but can only really do one thing: spam her basic abilities. Her ultimate is interesting in some ways, but the rest of her kit is very, very bland. I've taken the liberty to add some spiciness to her abilities, making her more active in her decision making.
Kayle is all about Judgement, not justice. New Kayle will bring stronger AOE healing and damage, but trades off consistent damage for risk and must choose whether to use a strong heal or damage ability. Judgement is up to you.
Passive: Holy Fervor Kayle's basic attacks apply two stacks (one stack when E is active) of FERVOR, reducing the target's magic resist and armor for each stack. (Up to 6 stacks)
At 6 stacks, Kayle's basic attacks steal a percentage of the target's maximum HP. If Kayle lands an ability on a target with 6 stacks, the ability chunks the target(s) for a % missing HP.
Q- Divine Reckoning Kayle launches a bolt of holy fire at a target area, dealing damage and slowing anyone in the area and healing any allies in the area. Damages for 50% additional damage if only enemies were in the impact radius. Heals for 50% additional HP if only allies were in the impact radius.
W- Righteous Fury- For the next several seconds, Kayles basic attacks become ranged, damage in a small AOE, and apply only one stack of FERVOR to all enemies hit. Kayle's E, Angelic Zenith becomes empowered and ends Righteous Fury's duration if cast.
E- Angelic Zenith First Cast- Kayle begins charging an attack, for up to 2 seconds, and gains movement speed for one second. (Can move while casting)
Second Cast, can take one of two forms -If cast under one second of charging, Kayle does a quick spin attack, dealing damage and applying on hit effects to all enemies hit. -If cast after one second of chargin, Kayle does a lunge attack in a target direction (a line skillshot) which deals damage, briefly slows, and applies all on hit effects twice.
EMPOWERED E- ANGELIC FURY First Cast- Kayle begins charging an attack, for up to 2 seconds, and gains movement speed for one second. (Can move while casting)
Second Cast, can take one of two forms: -If cast under one second of charging, Kayle launches a slow moving fiery vortex in a target direction with a wide radius (Think aurelion sol's q, but with a fixed radius and distance). Deals magic damage per second and applies one stack of FERVOR for each second. (An enemy not moving will take 2 stacks, ie.) -If cast after one second of charging, Kayle unleashes a pillar of fire in a target direction, which travels quickly. This ability deals a large amount of damage.
(Empowered E ends Righteous Fury's duration)(So if you want to use a powerful ability, you must trade it for range and AOE)
R- Intervention Makes an ally invulnerable for a duration.
