Short Bio:

Once an apothecary known for his knowledge of poisons was taken as a POW by Noxus after his town was pillaged. Ibuse managed to escape and found himself in a small village dedicated to protecting a shrine. He was taken in for his knowledge as an apothecary and was eventually trained to protect the shrine. The village was eventually invaded by the Noxus army. Ibuse made clever use of his poisons to induce an everlasting sleep on the enemy captain, thus becoming known as the Twilight Assassin. However, this led to more conflict and the village was swiftly destroyed along with its shrine. Ibuse managed to survive and finds himself in the Summoner's Rift to exact revenge.

Goal:

Introduce a new type of assassin. This one does not assassinate by burst damage but by incapacitating. Using the kunai, this assassin can jump in and put an enemy champion to sleep while dealing damage to effectively take the champion out of a fight. This assassin can potentially deal high amounts of damage in a short time as well but will need to plan ahead and almost always surrender his escape tool to do so.

Champion Name: Ibuse

Kit:

Basic Attack: Melee - Daggers.

Resource: Mana.

Passive: Twilight's Sleep

Ibuse's Kunais are laced with Twilight's Sleep. Twilight's Sleep deals poison damage over time to enemy champions and can stack up to 3 times. After stacking 3 times, the next stack will consume all 3, deal a small burst of damage and put the affected enemy champion to "sleep".

(Sleeping champions are essentially stunned until damage is taken or CC'ed). The same enemy champion cannot be put to sleep for a duration of time unless the sleep is cancelled via QSS, Mikaels, etc.

Twilight's Sleep timers are refreshed with Ibsue's basic attacks.

Q: Twilight Kunai

Active: Ibuse throws 3 kunais in a straight line in front of him. They are thrown one at a time and Ibuse can move during.

The kunais pierce minions and monsters but cannot pass through terrain or champions. Kunais that land on the ground/wall can be picked back up to reduce the cooldown of Twilight Kunai, otherwise, they stay on the terrain indefinitely or until Phantom Strike is cast.

Kunais outside a certain range can be removed by enemy champions by walking over it. Kunais that land on enemy champions stay on the champion for a duration of time or until the champion backs to their fountain.

W: Debilitating Cloud

Active: Ibuse throws a cask a short distance that creates a cloud of poison upon impact. This poison refreshes Twilight's Sleep's timers if enemies already have stacks and causes those inside to see a “lagging” form of Ibuse.

(Lagging form = sees Ibuse’s model ~1 sec behind). Those who are already poisoned see this form for a longer duration even after they leave the cloud.

E: Phantom Strike

Passive: Basic attacks on enemy champions deal bonus damage based on the number of poison stacks.

Active: Ibuse brings back all kunais within a range of him. This deals extra damage to all minions/monsters it passes through.

Kunais brought back from terrain can hit enemy champions and stays on them; backstabbing an enemy champion this way deals bonus damage. Kunais that return will count towards reducing Twilight Kunai’s cooldown.

R: Kawarimi

Passive: Gains two charges of Kawarimi immediately upon level up. Gains charges of Kawarimi overtime and maxes out at 2.

**Active:**Consumes a kunai to “jump” to it. The range is very big but the cooldown of the charge and time between consecutive jumps increases with distance traveled. There is a short downtime between jumps.

Ibuse can jump to the backside of an enemy champion as long as they have a kunai on them. Ibuse immediately backstabs the enemy with a kunai as he lands dealing bonus damage and adding a stack of poison. Ibuse hops a tiny distance backwards after the backstab. If this puts the enemy champion to sleep, Ibuse’s jump is refreshed and his next jump is “free”. (Free = distance does not add any additional cd and no downtime in between jumps).

Idea behind the Kit:

I wanted an Assassin that "assassinates" without having to one-shot an enemy champion. Ibuse will fulfill the role of assassins by essentially taking them out of a fight. If well prepped, Ibuse can taken multiple champions out of a fight and keep them out with a well coordinated team. Ibuse will still have the potential of deal high amounts of damage in his kit but Ibuse will have to give up his "assassination" in order to do so; elongate the fight. Players will have a way to counter the assassination but by doing so, Players will still have to be cautious of Ibuse jumping back in.

Ibuse is now my 6th champion and hopefully he was an interesting one. Don't forget to leave me a comment about what you think of him! Thanks for reading.
